  1. That's the argument I can acknowledge in favor of "going for it". But Dawkins had a false start penalty and we'd gotten stuffed on an early "and 1" play.
  2. 'Scuse me. Did our D get one single solitary stop on the Titans in the 2nd half? I think that fact may have some applicability when assigning responsibility.
  3. If we want to talk about one play that potentially cost us the game....OUCH. I'd like to blame the refs but that was obvious.
  4. I was actually concerned about this. I felt that the defense - all of it, coaches players etc - "went for the gusto" against KC. After last year's win against the Ravens, we seem to lose focus - lose physicality, not as good of a game plan, something, the following week. Maybe the D is just sore as ***** and one week isn't really enough time to recover, IDK. But it just seems like when they play out of their minds one week, they have a letdown the next week.
  5. We probably didn't have the best Defense, but there's a 50-50 chance we get the ball first
  6. Are you freakin' kidding me? Josh is 13 of 17 on rushing for 4th downs. What do you think league average is?
  7. I liked Tannehill with the Dolphins and I liked him when he won "Comeback Player of the Year". He's a gamer.
  8. You cause me to mourn the departure of DC Tom. Our QB completed 74.4% of his passes for 353 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT and rushed for another 29 yds - 382 yds of offense - and you're blaming the QB? SMDH. Our D didn't get the job done, couldn't buy one single stop in the 2nd half. That was the problem.
  9. See, I think that's defeatist thinking. There's 50-50 odds they lose the toss, and we go right down the field and score on them. If they win the toss, there's some odds the Bills D gets its collective act together and gets a stop. But I do understand the opposite POV that not going for it is defeatist thinking.
  10. That's not surprising. Did you see the Bills locker room when we beat the SeaSnakes? Heath Farwell, who played or coached for the Seahawks until 2017, was given the game ball. Having a former player or coach who can give you the low-down hoe-down on a team's and a player's tendencies is HUGE and can tip a game. Two words: Matt Barkley
  11. I could see that. If you're going to go "no risk it, no Bisquit", go for the Bisquit.
  12. Oh, wow. I appreciate your view, but I do have a problem with it. Make it: have a chance to score a TD for the win, or if stopped, take a FG as long as we maintain possession Miss it: walk off loss The Titans had already stuffed Allen on short yardage today, I say take the FG
  13. Could the announcers maybe point out that Josh was about to get run over by two defenders when he took the short pass instead of the EZ to Sanders?
  14. Disagree. Roberts was better two years ago, and possibly better last year, but there's a reason they moved on. Disagree there too. Kumerow has been playing very well on ST, getting 66% of the snaps Getting 10-12% of the snaps on offense as a blocker who can provide a reasonably credible pass catching threat Has been Doing His Job
  15. Not quite. We didn't re-sign Dean Marlowe; Ty Nseckhe; Tyler Kroft; Corey Bojorquez Pretty sure I'm missing a few Also cut John Brown
  16. If we're trading a DLman, it's either to get a piece we see as missing (like another CB?) or to get a draft pick and open a spot to bring Stevenson off IR
  17. Didn't see this: I believe that's Josh Allen who runs past behind Diggs and knocks the ball out of his hand. Diggs looks to see who it was and then shakes his head and continues. I shoulda known better
  18. What happened to Vernon Butler and Boogie Basham? I'm thinking they believe Phillips and Obada are better against the run
  19. I was going to post this. Not sure it was last year, might have been 2019. I didn't even think he was going for the ball, I think he was using that as an excuse to punch Josh. There's also this from 2019, where he punched Sam Darnold right in the nuts IMHO they should flag him for it, he's not just going for the ball, he has a pattern of punching the players. Punching the ball out is legit, and if you're really trying for the ball and miss OK, but Watt has been punching the players, not the ball. His first hit was right into the chest.
