Pretty sure that's Brown in one of the practice photos on the Bills website. Maybe he was just working with trainers or something.

Well.... .....I mean, when a guy only has a 16 year NFL career including 5 conference championship games, a SB win, 9 probowl appearances, 3 1st ballot all-pros, 2 league MVPs, and his team has been top 10 in passing offense all but 3 of those 16 years, clearly he's "Just a Guy" and he should STFU to avoid fatiguing @RoyBatty is alive

That's. A. Shame.

OH there's more fun than that. Kroenke signed an indemnification agreement to cover the legal costs to other teams if they let him move. Now he wants out: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32486646/los-angeles-rams-owner-stan-kroenke-angers-nfl-owners-financial-pivot-related-lawsuit-st-louis-move-sources-say

That's....a tad disingenuous of McClain IMHO. He was saying Watson could be traded last week and certainly by the trade deadline. While that's not exactly reporting a Watson "done deal" to the Dolphins, it does imply there's no major impediment. If the trade partner wants the legal issues resolved by Nov 2, that sounds like a major impediment right there

Good work finding that, but there is nothing in the above link about Florio being charged with anything. It says he was going to stop practicing law, but would finish up one case first: Translation; Florio was a litigator specializing in employment law, most recently representing employees against employers. "See one wrongful discharge case to its conclusion" means he had one client, a employee suing his former employer for wrongful discharge, that he was going to continue to represent.

I'll have to watch more, but I kind of thought the opposite - the KC oline isn't preserving the width and the depth of the pocket so he doesn't trust he has anyplace to step up. True but a little deceptive....Orlando Brown was traded because this is the last year of his rookie deal, and he made it clear he wanted the big bucks of a LT So he's a 1 year rental for them unless they shell out the Big Clams.

Texans trade Mark Ingram to Saints

Hollister per some -
Well there is that story he called Favre “Grandpa” so…..

I think the point is, any NFL game where a team thinks it can just March up and down the field, it’s a set up for getting that team’s ass whipped So hopefully the Bills don’t think that

I don’t think Mahomes is the “product of a system”. He’s a legit top QB in the NFL. But he was being presented as the “magic man” who didn’t need the support of a good OL, and could carry the team regardless of the defense. And just like Rodgers, Brees, Peyton Manning etc that is likely to be untrue.

Do players know immediately if a rookie is good or bad?

Fun fact. Maybin was drafted in 2009. Ed Wang was drafted in 2010. -

There's a lot of moving parts to whether a player will make it in the NFL: 1) innate athleticism 2) strength 3) level of football skill at present 4) coachability 5) does he put in the physical effort in practice and the weight room 6) is he a "student of the game" 7) competitiveness '8) injury resistance My guess is there are a lot of guys who eventually make it, that are not seen as "having what it takes" initially because maybe the strength and football skill or even the athleticism aren't where they need to be. Lorenzo Alexander, Justin Zimmer etc. But some of them are coachable and put in the effort and study and are competitive in a good way to improve, and they keep at it until they do. But I'm guessing for every 2 players in that category who make it, there are 10 who don't, and the vet who says "yeah, I could always see he'd make it" are using 20/20 hindsight. The players who have it all, or maybe are missing some skill or some strength but have the work ethic and the attitude to go with off-the-charts athleticism, Sure, I bet you can tell. The injury resistance thing is the wild-card. There are probably guys who "have what it takes" and never develop because they keep getting injured. On the other hand, when you have a guy like Kahale Warring, I gotta wonder if the IR list becomes a place you stash a guy with off-the-charts athleticism, hoping the lightbulb will finally turn on for the rest. I woulda thought it was the General Manager who drafted Josh Rosen....Steve Keim...and Oh, Hey, he's still there! -

Again...you have no idea what happened. The coach could have tested negative that morning and developed symptoms the next morning. The coach could be vaccinated. You need to do a Frozen here: "let it go" -
Did anyone else get an "Earworm" from this: "Flacco and the Jets" to the tune of "Benny and the JEts" by Elton John?

People keep saying this, but no one can demonstrate why they believe: 1) Morse is the problem or the biggest problem on the OL 2) either Bates or Mongo are anywhere near him as a pass-protecting center He isn't, and they aren't. Incognito was good for a while. Wood was good as a guard but moved to center after a year Andy Levitre was pretty good but didn't fit the "mauler" mold Marrone was looking for That would be great, but at this time of the year starting-calibre OGs are not usually wandering the streets looking to be signed - nor are teams generally willing to trade them.

You don't know this. 1) it's not Terry's stadium. Erie County and NYS have skin in the rules 2) the wedding was not in NYS - different states and localities have different rules, and the wedding may have followed all pertinent health regulations 3) therefore your "rules for me and not for thee" comment is illogical- 66 replies

Old news. They broke up some time ago. Correct. It's also not clear if McDermott would be considered a close contact or not (Pegula probably has more reason to talk to his kid's tennis coach, coach may have been part of a rehearsal dinner or other events McDermott didn't attend, etc etc) You have no clue how the wedding was handled. Pipe down- 66 replies

I mean, to be fair, I'm not sure who the Texans cut trade or keep is a good barometer for football quality these last few years. Fundamentally, Kahale Warring is the equivalent of an International Pathways Program player from America: great size, elite athleticism, but very little football experience and a long history of injuries. One season in HS; Started 5 games in college; https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kahale-warring/32005741-5275-2700-ebaf-ccabda046f86 Interestingly, the normally pretty astute NFL.com and Lance Zierlein rated him "will be a starter within 2 seasons" while rating Dawson Knox "good backup who could become a starter". I guess they got that mixed.
