  1. Look at how many views the Pat Macafee podcast has. So at least that many.
  2. He gets open and catch the ball, he can wear whatever damn shirt he wants* *brady jersey or Pats shirts excepted
  3. The wave of relief that just went through my body Allen, Diggs, Hughes, Po - me likey
  4. Yeah, if it's true they collect the test at 5 am, allowing for transport to a lab that's about when the results would be available absent problems.
  5. We're not going to discuss politics here, including whether it's the podcast hosts and the non-doctors vs. the people who bash them who are "dumb and intellectually dishonest". I take it you go for the latter. Me, I think life was better when people took medical advice from trusted medical professionals of their choice, medications weren't advertised on TV, and podcast hosts/stars didn't play "medical professional" on the web. You do You. Agree with the bolded. It's what Allen and some others have done, and it seems to have been accepted. but When NFL protocols cause vax status to impact game availability, it enters that blurry land between "medical privacy" and "the (betting) public's right to know" It's certainly not out-of-bounds to ask a question when it impacts game availability, whether the player answers or not. (Me, I think "***** the betting public and their right to know" and ditch the Injury Reports, too while we're at it)
  6. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-at-jaguars-how-to-watch-stream-and-listen-week-9 CBS Available in the NFL app if your location shows you as "in market", either Buffalo or Jacksonville
  7. Rapaport reporting https://www.nfl.com/news/packers-aaron-rodgers-could-face-fines-but-no-suspension-if-covid-violations-are?campaign=Twitter_atn Says Rodgers will face fines but not suspension if protocol violations are confirmed. This is such excuse-making BS. There was no "witch hunt" outing and shaming Po or Allen or Edmunds or others who said "I'm going to keep medical information private" "I'm not going to answer questions about the vaccines" etc. They got maybe a handful of Op-Ed pieces and tweets saying they should show leadership, what, after 17 years in the league Rodgers can't handle that level of heat? Ha, yeah, I think the insurance company ads with QBs have gotten old.
  8. To the latter: Exactly. Not only that, how there's this and that and the other problem with the products they offer so some other strategy will work better. As a player, I think Aaron Rodgers is one of the all time greats. And he absolutely has the right to not get vaccinated under the NFL/NFLPA rules As a man, I'm just curious: Why do you support Rodgers in this? It was plainly unnecessary for him to have done as he did. Someone posted the clip of Josh Allen being asked the same question, and Josh said straight up "I'm going to keep medical information private, and discussions with the team in-house". He got a few follow up questions about the protocols and said stuff like "at the end of the day, we're all professionals". He was very professional, and treated professionally by the press. There may have been an article or two or a tweet or 10 expressing that he should "show leadership" by getting vaxxed and talking about it like Mahomie did, but that's far from the "Woke" Mob with tar and pitchforks that Rodgers would have you believe was lurking waiting to pounce on such a response, and it died off quickly. So why is it OK to, at best, be deceptive or (IMO) lie as Rodgers did? I'll see if I can find it, but Rodgers was on Pat McAfee last week before any vax kerfluffle pontificating about how he is "above" the "game" where the "woke mob" attacks you for one little thing you do against "them", so he plainly has a bug up his butt (or is paranoid) about this trope. Where I grew up, a Man's Word was his Bond, lieing or even being deceptive was considered chickenshit, and it was a manly attribute to stand up for what you believe in, damn the torpedoes - this was in communities that were predominantly conservative and staunchly Christian.
  9. I'm looking for an alliterative cheer that has to do with cats. Pound those pu........ Nevah Mind
  10. It's not uncommon that Joe B sees things quite a bit differently than some others of us. He can have good insights on the film, but I don't understand his grading system at all.
  11. Yolo said 5 am Gonna be especially brutal with 5 am feeling like 4 am. 😫🥱
  12. Link or it didn't happen (you seeing it, not OBJ either being there or leaving)
  13. Some stuff about calf injury timelines here. https://bangedupbills.com/2021/11/02/2021-buffalo-bills-week-8-postgame-injury-review-miami-dolphins/ Magic 8 ball says "unlikely to occur until Feliciano comes off IR" I agree with the people who would like to see Bates crack the lineup at OG
  14. Bates can play all across the line. In preseason he took most of his game snaps as the #2 center. Blackened fish taco please, garlic aioli and cabbage. Ike will start at LG and Ford at RG, unless they go with Douglas who was also just elevated from PS
  15. ....you will Enjoy the Game? I mean, the D will still be there AFAIK Seriously though, I think the "close contact" thing would have rolled by now, as long as Josh doesn't actually test positive himself at 5 am you should be good Josh said in one of the preseason pressers (I think): "He is actually faster than I am. I hate to admit it - but I guess I just did." On the other hand, he doesn't have Josh's innate athleticism and his strength, the ability to just make a move and make guys miss or shrug them off. And for a guy who is as tall as Josh (6'5", 225) he just doesn't have as much zip to his pip
  16. How about a 6 foot Lithuanian? or a blank Czeck? Simmer down, Siblings. I've been mostly sending some PMs and stuff but if I gotta come in here again and clean up, Mjolnir is gonna get a workout Gentle Reminder: What this space is: A FOOTBALL FORUM What we do: We talk about football (and sometimes peripherally other things) This includes sometimes reviewing NFL's covid policies and what NFL players have been placed on the Covid list and why, Stadium policies and their impacts/what apps comply etc. What we don't do: Engage in a general debate about Covid. If you want to debate the validity of vaccines, Western medicine and published studies, share your personal anecdote about Covid or your cute meme or your Youtube video, etc etc etc - Somewhere Else, Not Here, please. There are literally thousands of places on the internet where you can "scratch that itch" and only a few where we can talk about Bills Football. Again, as @SDS said, please take a moment and report posts that fall outside the spirit of this announcement; "I was only responding to...." is not helpful in maintaining this as a FOOTBALL FORUM. Thanks and GO BILLS
  17. Yeah, that's the Super Cade bracelet. it's got this distinctive blue and white marbleing. But just compare and contrast that with AR's BS Josh just said straight out he's going to keep medical information "to me" and any talks with the team private and that's that. No one badgered or hectored him about it but you just know if someone tried he would have kept his cool and just repeated himself. Yes there were a few opinion pieces saying he should get vaxxed blah blah but no mob attack I ever saw, on or off SM They ask him about different protocols and stuff he gives straightforward direct answers like "at the end of the day we're all professionals" Thats. My. Quarterback.
  18. Does not work that way, can not work that way, sorry, if you want the gouge PM @Rochesterfan, he knows this stuff. Of course, it's possible they don't have to put the swab so far back up his nose .....
  19. Not necessarily - he could be unvaccinated, not a close contact because he hasn't been placed on the covid list, and tested on game day due to daily testing Either way....he's gotta be tested with two of his three QB teammates already left on the dock. Nerverack time Or if he's unvaccinated, they test every day If you link a photo, can determine
  20. Who is "vilifying" anyone? You and SCBills are most certainly entitled to your viewpoint, and you could be right. Another viewpoint is that vaccination status might drive some concerns about guaranteed money and the structure of the contract...given that the Bills had on their roster one of the players who developed myocarditis from Covid and went out for the season, and I believe during the negotiations, their franchise LT who is owed a lot of guaranteed money went into hospital during the vaccination process, it might seem more "real" to them as a possibility to guard against contractually. How is that "vilifying" anyone? For all you know he is vaxxed, and we don't know if he tested positive (if he isn't vaxxed, he could be a close contact)
  21. Yes, if he is defined as a close contact of Trubisky or had close contact with Fromm on Tuesday am.... Like I said, my stomach is in a knot just thinking about this stuff, I can't imagine what it's like for Beane, McDermott, and Daboll. They should do Maalox commercials.
  22. I thought something was "up" when the "fashion shoot" photos were late Interesting that it's Morris and not Warring who got the call-up this week. Perhaps they weren't impressed by the 3 snaps they saw from Kahale last week. Or perhaps they're trying to "spread the callup loooove" I personally don't think it's good news to see Mongo go on IR. I might be alone there.
