  1. Bill Belicheck is a HOF coach and they have a good D. Judon was a huge addition for them. Good question about Mac Jones. He was making a lot of tight window throws in today’s game. Those are the throws that can become incompletions or INTs with more pressure on him. I felt the Zebras were missing on a couple late QB hits by Judon that should have been flags. I also think the Browns were “feeling themselves” a bit much after demolishing the Bengals last week.
  2. yeah, HUGE difference. Defense is down two key starters who normally play the majority of the snaps, plus a strong contributor just IRd -> still strong game Offense is down 3 starters who normally play the majority of the snaps -> Hot mess ahead Our depth on O is not as good as we’d like to think, especially at TE and OG we are mi-tee-thin Nothing like a little throw down in front of an opponent you will face again
  3. Just means it’s not broken or super messed up. Those guys have so much adrenaline that they’re not gonna feel stuff until the next day
  4. If ‘lil Dirty messed up his ankle, Breida may be returning next week and for a couple of weeks
  5. I agree on not piling on Breida, but my point is that for a given called protection, it’s usually “on” the RB to recognize what the D is showing and what that means for what he’s supposed to do. It’s entirely possible he was supposed to abandon his route and block, or chip then release and run the route. When you get into it deeply it’s fascinating stuff, and the RBs have a lot on their plate to figure out. It’s also possible it was the wrong protection call.
  6. Even if I did, it wouldn’t help because we have no way to know whether they’re close contacts or infected. Come back with a source and some info. I don’t think you heard it from a reputable or knowledgeable source.
  7. 1st round bye is huge, but unless we get some solid help from Tenn opponents, looks like it’s out of our reach
  8. My guess is that it was making a mistake in the protections based on the defense the Jets showed. Erik Turner did some stuff about how complex it is, even for a running back. They have to recognize what the D is showing and understand what that means for them as a blocking assignment.
  9. Neither are true. 5 fumbles in 9 games is not every game. But he does fumble.
  10. I’m not advocating that we bench him for a lost fumble, but he has to clean up his game.
  11. No one blocking for the Bills this season has been flawless, but the other backs (and McKenzie, for that matter) are competent when asked. He needs to work on his blocking chops if he wants to have a regular role. Don’t get me wrong, I want to see him on the field if he contributes, but in a team that passes as much as we do, the RB has to pass protect competently.
  12. Correct. C’mon man (not to you JoPoy), y’all know damned well that when Josh fumbles, we all say it’s unacceptable and he’s gotta hang on to the ball, even if we recover. Same logic for Motor
  13. One more whiff on a block like that could take Allen out for the season. We can’t have that. If he’s in as a back, he’s gotta be able to block. You don’t have to level the guy, just get in his way and slow him down some
  14. In honor of a Win on the Sunday after Veterans Day….the USAF band in Great Britain and ……MOOOD!!!!!
  15. I mean, Singletary has 5 fumbles on the season now - the 5th in this game - and he’s still playing So
  16. Errrr….he didn’t lose it, but he did have a fumble in this very game. On the season, that gives him 5.
  17. Excluding QB, 20 rushes for 139 yds is a capable run game. Big difference between 28 passes, 20 rushes other than Allen vs. 47 passes, 9 rushes other than Allen. Big difference between getting 139 yds rushing by backs and 4 rushing TD as well as 366 yds passing and 2 passing TD vs. (in the MIA victory) no TD that didn’t involve JA and 47 rush yards by other players.
  18. I’m too lazy to look, does Breida historically have a fumbling problem?
  19. Yeah their QB is clueless and playing like he’s concussed. Hasn’t been the same player recently
  20. One more time: Trubisky is not an option. Still on the Covid list
  21. Same logic would say we lost 9-6 to the Jags, so we aren’t either?
  22. Browns are at the pointy-toed end of a good old-fashioned Butt-kicking, and there should be flags all over the place for roughing on that hit. Def. more than 2 steps after the ball was thrown and before the defender plowed into Baker.
