But Ryan has produced a lot of passing offense consistently since the SB - >4000 yds passing, with enough passing yards and a good enough TD/INT ratio to win games if there’s a defense and a bit of a rush game. 2018 was a good year for him. 35 TD, 7 INT, >300 ypg It’s just not true that he’s never been good since that SB Geez, the receivers are having to fight and scrap just to get back to the LOS

Not only is it their job to talk, but especially Fox seems to give them a script or narrative to work in. Think it was Aikman who said something about “if he keeps playing like this…just put his bust in Canton already” about Lamar Jackson during a game in which Jackson was, in fact, playing poorly. It was obviously a script he was supposed to work in and even Aikman couldn’t quite say it sincerely.

I had to look up their coordinator. Dave Ragone. Was passing game coordinator for the Bears last season, before that QB coach. I got slow eyes and need all 22 to help me but from what I can see, his passing play design does not seem to be a match for his OL and his QB. Also Dean Pees was Truth as DC for the Ravens and Titans but this Atlanta D just doesn’t seem like a well-coached physical team to me. Letting NE WR run out of bounds and so forth. Like they’re going through the motions

Well, we should complain about our o-line, but the Falcons is much worse. Of course, Ryan is a classic pocket passer while Allen both has the ability to make guys miss, plus they can’t pin their ears back completely less he escape and take off on them.

These passing routes just don’t seem well designed for a guy with a bad OL who needs to get rid of the ball quickly Seems like Ryan is getting to the top of his drop and looking…looking and I see guys who are still running a route or just getting open He needs a quick hit passing game
