  1. I haven't had a chance to listen to McDermott's presser or Daboll's but did he say anything about Boettger's injury? Also, has Hart ever played guard? It's a little strange to me that they wouldn't want another IOL on the active roster with both Feliciano and Ford on the Covid list and now Boettger on IR. I mean, we're down to 2 OGs right now, Bates and Williams. Our experienced alternative, Jamil Douglas, is now playing for WFT. Our two PS guys are Evin Ksiezarczyk (I believe has solely played OT) and Jacob Capra. Capra has played guard. We are getting have gotten scary thin on IOL IMHO
  2. As of today 12/27: Cornerback Cam Lewis has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. As of Friday 12/24: Wide receiver Gabriel Davis and offensive lineman Cody Ford have been added to the reserve/COVID-19 list. Special teams coordinator Heath Farwell and defensive line coach Eric Washington were also added to the list. https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/covid-19-list-tracker-for-players-nfl-policies/ Thread intended for Bills-relevant Covid list additions and activations
  3. 1) I don't think the NFL is going to go off the CDC's recommendations. They will continue to go off their own data. For example, they said 10 days isolation while I believe the CDC was still saying 14 days. They said 5 days for an unvaccinated close contact while I think the CDC was still saying more. I'm not saying the NFL wouldn't like to consider this, but since reportedly 95% of the players are vaccinated and asymptomatic vaccinated players are currently not being tested routinely at all, the NFL's current protocols are effectively already more aggressive than this. 2) there's this from the same source: "if asymptomatic" So currently in the NFL, asymptomatic players with covid are isolating for 0 days Symptomatic players can come back as soon as their symptoms clear and they test negative, or positive with a Ct >35, which theoretically could be less than 5 days.
  4. They're per-game stats. QB played 15 games and threw 18 TDs, that's 1,2 TD per game. I woulda thought, pretty common Imma go with this. But it seems to be giving Mills 11 games, and he actually only played about half the snaps in 2 of them. That could be a point.
  5. I think it's the equivalent of saying "I've been called worse things by better people" Yep, that was Jerry Sullivan
  6. Have you considered an anti-anxiety drug prescription? We aren't playing against Matt Ryan's career. We're playing against the team the Falcons can field this year. They've got the 25th offense on points and the 24th offense on yards. 15th for passing yards, but 24th for interceptions thrown. 30th for rush yards. If the Bills spend this week eating potato chips and reading their press clipping and walk on the field with a lackadaisical attitude, sure, we could be in trouble. If they treat Atlanta as a pack of cornered Dogs that might be dangerous, prepare seriously, and go out there and play like each play needs to be their best, they'll be fine. Don't forget the 14 interceptions or the fact that with so many passing attempts, it's 6.1 ypa. Yes, Matt Ryan is a very good QB. No, a very good QB can't do it all himself.
  7. TBH, I do think Beasley has fallen off a good bit this year. I think he's not as fast and not as quick - of course I could be influenced by his play after the Spearing in the Miami game, perhaps he was quicker before that. But watching McKenzie, I thought it was noticeable that he ran his routes far more quickly than Beasley does.
  8. There's even a pinned post on The Stadium Walls that explains the rules and what we do or don't remove - imagine that degree of openness and transparency! (we don't censor - censorship has specific meanings that don't apply to a private bulletin board). See above. He is not out partying.
  9. Bad take. Cole isn't off partying or clubbing. He's got 4 kids and he's big on being a Dad. He says "Let's Party!" before every game psyching himself up and "Still partying!" when he's still in the game with a lead. That's what its a reference to. In the Instagram post in question, he's wearing an undershirt and sitting in bed with his flannel sheets. Some party.
  10. That's the thing when the backups have to step forward. You never know what you're gonna get. McKenzie stepped up. Kumerow stepped back.
  11. I thought Beasley had Insta'd that he had "mild symptoms" (so far) Likely, what he means is they're symptoms he would have played through (and possibly infected his teammates) in prior years. It's my understanding it was routine for players to play through colds, flu etc and just dope themselves up with Afrin and antihistamines and keep hydrated with IVs if need be. (That's not intended as a knock on football players, it's the "culture" in many places I've worked to not call in sick). McKenzie came to Buffalo halfway through the 2018 season as a very very raw WR with a big-time fumbling problem as a KR/PR. HIs route running improved a bit in 2019 with Chad Hall as WR coach, but it really took off in 2020 after Diggs arrived. Diggs elevated the room IMO.
  12. That was an awful call. I couldn't believe the announcers were actually trying to defend it.
  13. Didn't Allen overthrow Diggs the previous play? I'm guessing the fans said something then.
  14. I was just thinking that. Josh was the lead dog on the pack that got dinner.
  15. Ryan is a better QB (though he is fading) but the Patriots have a run game, an OL, TE, WR, and a better coach and scheme.
  16. This. I hope they've gotten over it, but there was a funny vibe on the Bills earlier in the season where they would have a great, "signature" type win, their PR team would put out some funny ***** lampooning the other team, the national press would take notice and start adulating the Bills, and the Bills would get punched in the mouth the next game - seeming to come out flat and not be able to seal the deal or even taking an inexplicable loss. KC followed by Tenn. Dolphins followed by Jags. Worst, Jets followed by Indy where Indy practically flipped the score I hope we've learned from this. Anyone can beat us. We have to prepare for everyone like they're the Pats. Don't Eat the Cheese, Boys. Don't read the press clippings. Matty Ice can still throw it. He just has no one to catch it reliably and his OL is a bunch of blocking sleds. I forget what game I was watching, but time and time again he would throw a catchable ball and his receiver would fail to adjust on it or haul it in.
  17. I got to give props to McKenzie for his post-game presser. Gave credit to Beasley for helping him prep for the game and said "can't wait to have those guys back" (even though it will certainly mean less snaps for him).

  19. There were more than one national sportswriters who thought the Bills drafted Fromm in the 5th round to "push" Allen and take over from him if he didn't improve fast.
  20. Any idea what kind? No no no - so they can give him more TIME in the pocket
