  1. If the Bills know more about the wind currents than their opponents then it could be. I think I heard T Bass make some reference to charts of stadium wind currents. Can't say that they have ever played any windy games over the last 15 years or so where the Bills looked to be calling plays with any special wisdom.
  2. I agree. Eagles game last year was one of his worst of year 2. Certain types of touch throws are out. Deep shots are tough to calibrate. Pass catchers will see the path of the change and need to react quickly to it. Hands only catches are tougher. Shallow crosses with a rub, screens, some gashes in the run game and QB scrambles were what the Eagles did well that game. This one have the backward punt? Oops. Promo in with it first. Temp was in the high 30s and the wind made staying dry impossible. Hypothermia was a concern.
  3. Just heard that he will have a segment on WGR at 8AM for those not familiar with him. Much better as a guest than say John Clayton. You know, national types that know nothing of the Bills actual roster or the situation with their franchise.
  4. i think Spielman is great and deserves higher profile games but....................... Spielman Bills.webp
  5. Maybe the wind took that out of bounds. Funky dome currents.
  6. Twist the knee or stress the lower leg? Something had to give. Having a QB with a physical presence in RZ is almost essential.
  7. Robinson is their best player on offense.
  8. Love watching Mack play. Not sure which was more under recruited, Mack at UB or Josh to Wyoming.
  9. Bet the Bear's fan forums are having a collective meltdown.
  10. Didn't tuck it but extended it toward the 1st down line to gain.
  11. It does seem wrong to reward the offense for a poorly placed ball.
  12. OL keeping him up and pulling him downfield.
  13. Assisting the runner used to be a penalty.
  14. It seems highly unlikely that the team that loses the toss would get a chance for a decent 2nd possession with the 10 minute OT period which makes the NFL rule even worse, imo. The NCAA rule is better but the NFL would not want any scenario close to the multiple OT sessions we have seen in the college ranks, especially given the normal viewing windows. Here's one headline: "WMU beats Buffalo in record-tying 7 overtimes, setting new FBS scoring record"
  15. No reason to think he's professionally trained but he sounds that way. Strong voice, concise thoughts and his draft/player evaluation background gives his opinions insight that most of the others lack. Opinionated = interesting while pigheaded = annoying. One of his best takes was on DJ Metcalf. While the whole NFL community dropped him down in 2019 he kept him top 5, I think. His evals of Bills picks often fall in line with where Beane actually ended up taking them.
  16. Yes. Head pulled away and shoulder was to the sternum with initial contact. Maybe a penalty after the initial contact due to the whiplash. Often the concussion happens when their head hits the turf.
  17. Near as I can tell, this hit by Basham in week 1 did not get a fine. It was late, helmet to helmet and he launched to get there.
  18. supposed to let him make the catch and take two steps?
