  1. In general, the D should never be allowed to get a pbu after the play has ended.
  2. Different opinion. Chris Brown is much better than Murphy was at leading the show. He keeps Tasker on point when he stumbles and often completes his sentences for him. He interviews much better than either Tasker or Murphy and his voice is much easier to listen to than Maddie Glab's.
  3. On OBL Steve is best at story telling and commentary when CB sets him up. Interviews and adlib not so much. He supposedly had quite a rant to the review not overturning the down by contact/no fumble call on the field. I hope to hear it this week.
  4. Yesterday Rivers was great at what he is good at, if that makes sense. But, there is a huge hole in his game that makes him incapable of beating a defense off script. He needs to be well protected and the ball still needs to come out quick. RZ and two minute drill are places where Rivers' lack of arm strength and mobility really showed up. It seemed like he threw the ball away on 2nd and 3rd down on their last drive to set up a Hail Mary that did not even reach the endzone which was only 56 yards away. I want the Steelers for the same reason.
  5. Yes. Defend his hands. That's where the ball will be.
  6. This is not a surprise and here is the big picture view, imo. The 2019 version of Josh Allen was good at 3rd and long, 4th quarters, Red Zone, and road games, These are not situations that a young, developing NFL QB who is mediocre or pathetic or whatever other such adjectives we have read or heard would excel in. Quite the opposite. They are the more challenging. Anyone inclined to crap on 2019 Josh when telling the story of 2020 Josh has not bothered to look at it very closely.
  7. I think it's more likely that the Bills' offense limits the Colts running game.
  8. Two thoughts. I 100% agree with you on this. I think it is a natural consequence of one failed hiring to make the next that has strengths that counter the previous one's weaknesses. In this case, discipline and attention to detail. The second thought was that he looked like Ron Howard's pumped up twin brother.
  9. This is the play that once seen can't be forgotten: Mark Ingram 3rd down conversion. A 14 yard gain on 3rd and 13 that extended the opening drive of the 3rd quarter that would give the Giants the lead and burn nearly 20% of the game clock. New York scoring drive: 75 yards, 14 plays, 9:29. New York 17, Buffalo 12 A run heavy, dink and dunk offense does not work without such a play. I think it was the most consequential play of the game next to Norwood's miss and the Bills' worst play of the game.
  10. I find it odd that she and Maddie Glab do these pods. The viewership numbers are not big a nd the production is very simple. I suspect that Kim enjoys doing them and she sees it as buying some good will among the NFL community. They have had many media types like Kay Adams, Mina Kimes, Charles Davis, etc. so I think she wants them to see how cool she is, especially among the billionaire NFL owner class.
  11. I'd bet GMFB has it on tomorrow morning. They like to showcase the personalities associated with the sport.
  12. I think it's because they seem to be having fun while stretching. That is not normal to my experience.
  13. If the Bills are in a two minute drill with the game on the line, I have more confidence if Cole is in the game. Those type drives against the Rams and Cardinals are exhibit A and B where Beasley was a big part of making it work.
  14. Without researching it, I suspect that their QB ELO rankings have a large weighting toward recent games. Josh definitielly had a more productive Dec/Jan.
  15. Considering that Josh does an interview about 4 times a week, you'd think someone would have asked him about Cade.
  16. When the Colts drafted Eason and there were not going to be any preseason games, Chad's time in Indy was done. He is among the more talented QBs not in the league but that's not saying much. I think the XFL restart will be his last chance to make some sort of pro career. I do not seek to crap all over people who are trying to overcome their issues and do believe people can grow. Either you believe in redemption or not. We certainly are not in position to judge where he is at but his time with the Colts probably did him some good. I never read anything that suggested he was lazy or lacked passion for the game. Quite the opposite. I wish him well.
  17. Before the season started, one of our resident TBD Nostradimi (you know who you are) suggested that it would be just like the Bills to have an all-time great season when it appeared likely that none (not many) of us could/would witness it in our preferred, communal, in-person manner due to the pandemic. Feeling good about the Bills prospects for this year at that time, I made a mental note of the spirit of that thought connecting it to the person who made it. I do not normally pay much attention to the Super Bowl #'s, other than XXV thru XXVIII, but I think most all fans will remember the team that wins it this year. This Super Bowl champion will be remembered by most all NFL fans as the team that won it THAT year. But without thinking much of it prior, I just realized that this one is LV, 55. It struck me as a sign so I felt the need to create a new profile picture.
  18. ALL 3 GAMES ON COMMERCIAL BREAK. I hate that.
