Was this the worst upset loss in team history?
May Day 10 replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats the first one that comes to mind. The Bills havent been in this position much in their 61 year history, so the list is pretty short. -
Tua fractured finger and hurt. Won't play... Again...

I feel bad for him. He has gotten heap of bad luck from the moment he had the hip injury. -
This was about as good as they could have hoped, with Eichel's injury, timing, and some character questions.

He is pretty much shot at this point, right?

While the downtown option seems a little more compelling to me as a result of this report, I think this all but buries the idea. This report, which basically summarizes that Orchard Park is much cheaper and quicker, combined with the Pegulas obvious stance to build in Orchard Park make it a certainty (if they can agree on funding). My prediction is we get a deal before the Wild Card round of the playoffs

Probably Notre Dame because they exist

Bills Classless Again [Edit: FinHeaven message board]

I laughed at the tiny piece of response just below it -
Not at all. The game was still in play. The Bills couldn't run out the clock. They aren't going to just hand possession over to the Dolphins in a 9-point game. Are you kidding me? For a bunch of fans whose feelings might be hurt because their favorite team lost by 15 instead of 9? If they could have kneeled, thats a different story. Going for 2 was the correct thing to do in light that a successful conversion would have completely ended the game right then and there. With 1:07 on the clock and no timeouts, Miami had a sliver, miniscule chance of scoring 2 TDs and a 2PC and tying it. There was 0 chance they score 3x

Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
May Day 10 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really thought he deserved to win it last season. To do what he is doing, head and shoulders above anyone else in that position, and carrying a playoff team. Anyways, yes, I think it was a ticking time bomb, unfortunately. -
I don't see the NFL expanding anytime soon. As stated, there is probably little interest in splitting up into more additional TV revenue shares. They have 32 pretty strong brands right now. Im sure if they have designs on any other city (I would guess it would almost exclusively be London), they would probably have a few opportunities/candidates for relocation when their time comes.

report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal
May Day 10 replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall
PS&E came out and (again) said today that OP is the site. Multiple studies over years has shown it is the most effective and efficient location. Anyone saying anything else isn't informed. Went on to say that south park site mentioned is virtually impossible due to space constraints (Paraphrasing their words). https://theathletic.com/2917515/2021/10/27/pegula-executive-rejects-noise-about-a-downtown-bills-stadium-says-orchard-park-is-the-best-option/ -
I actually dig the NBA play-in round they did this year. 100000% agree with whoever complained about the OT/Shootout win points system being super lame. Makes games with little meaning have even less meaning. I would be on board with a mid-season tournament. Would be cool if they could even include European/KHL teams at some point.

report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal

Im just really hoping that the final product/design goes well above that 60,000 capacity amount. Id like to see between 65K and 75K -
How is the book series? I normally read series of books and Dune has always been on the list at some point. Is it an easy read throughout, even with the sci fi and the hallucinogenic stuff? Also the change in authors?

report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal
May Day 10 replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think probably the Canal Side/Thursday in the Square incarnation, plus some paid concerts held there in a non pandemic Summer. I do think there is opportunity for a real amphitheater similar to the Molson Amphitheater. Could corral a lot of Summer tours and also pretty much put Darien Lake out of business with what they have. -
Have we had any big match ups yet? Cardinals thrashing the Browns? also the Titans in the opener? Packers beating Bengals in OT? Patriots taking the Buccaneers and Cowboys to the wire but losing. anything else come to mind? I think the Rams beat the Colts. I guess its an intrigue to keep an eye on. Green Bay plays @ KC and the Titans and Rams play in a few weeks.

I dont think so. I dont think we will ever see that again. I mean, one conference may be better than another conference for a year, or a few years, but itll tip back and forth. Kansas City has been the best team in football the past 3 seasons (and only got the 1 SB title). I don't believe the NFL is a cut above the AFC at this point.

report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal
May Day 10 replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall
What do those bars and restaurants do during those some-355 days there arent Bills games?..... Fine, add in a monster truck rally and a Gunz and Roses concert. If we are talking an MLB ballpark or even a state of the art brick and mortar amphitheater, I would be more behind it as you can count on many dates that could sustain business and create a 'district'. The stadium downtown is cart before the horse. We need true economic development downtown by the way of multiple fortune 500 companies anchoring there along with many residents within the city-proper. Nashville is a booming attractive city, with 6 fortune 500 companies and a lively entertainment culture. It is already an attractive destination for travelers, with or without a football stadium. Buffalo has 1 fortune 500 company in M&T. Until Buffalo gets more commerce downtown... everything else is just window dressing to try to attract people from the suburbs sometimes. Then they leave. -
This is kind of where I live right now. My mind says they will walk to a victory, but usually when you feel that way, you get surprised. I recall the Dolphins game a couple years ago when they were like 0-6 and also the Jets game last year when they hung around. With that said, the Bills could really make it so the Dolphins need to make severe change and scrapping their current 'rebuild' and administration, which not too long ago looked so promising, and had an embarrassment of riches in the way of draft picks.

I thought it was pretty excellent, but I have not read the novels. Agree that we had a pretty drastic break without any sequel on the horizon which is tough. This really should have been a lead-in to an HBO series or something... or been a series itself. The Barron was great. Casting overall seemed well-done.

This was my thought. The Allen injury his rookie year was a big step in his development. -
CUSA getting raided now. Could be down to 5 members

Johnson was a gamer in that playoff game and showed a lot of grit. Drive them down for the game winning FG. Doubt it was him.
