Negative Buffalo Article from the Dunkirk observer
Cru Jones replied to Mighty Taco's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look everyone Its A bright Shiny Star............and Dan Borrello is sycophantically latching his star to it. Nice article !@#$, Enjoy your fifteen minutes. -
FACT: He couldn't make a second read to save his life. FACT: He's been coached to run when the first read isn't there since he's been at UF, and it isn't going to change. FACT: He runs when there are open recievers. FACT: Alex Smith has all the intangibles you speak of, he played in the same Urban Meyer offense and put up insane numbers just like TT I believe TT should play on sundays, and believe he can be a factor, but only as a "Slash" player. Otherwise hes a long term project because he needs to learn to play QB between the ears like NFL guys do. I'm not saying hes stupid at all, but there are high school QBs that play in more sophisticated passing offenses and know how to go through thier progressions better than he does. He's an incredible college player; a man amongst boys, and his phisical gifts are the reason he didnt need to and probably won't develop into gifted passer. You cant expect a kid whose played QB one way since he was in JR High to all of the sudden accept that on pass plays: his second, third and fourth option isnt to run. I've heard that Meyer is going to throw in some wrinkles to make him more NFL ready, I dont believe that. Why would a coach for national championship contender put his teams success in jeopardy to make Tebow more NFL ready? As for Tebow, hes not going to jeopardize his, and his teams success for a first round grade and to look good on film, because of those intangibles, and because he is a great team mate, but that isnt getting him into the NFL, it will be his physical ability that does. He should be drafted as a QB, not as the future of a franchise, but to be used in situations where he causes matchup problems(it wont be every play) like pat white will be for the fish.

any word on what the other six teams were?

He's looks like Christian Bale only dreamier.

Famous at the current moment? at thier peak? or all-time? If more than 50% of the US population can name one congressman, 40% can remember that Kemp ran with Dole in '96, 30% can remember who the fvck Al Cowlings is, and 10% know what Flutie Flakes are I'd be very, very, surprised. I like McGuire but he doesnt have the clout of a Madden, Michaels, Costas, or even Summerall in the booth to be more famous than a HOF QB. I put Kelly #2 because at his peak Kelly was a pretty BIG deal. He was on guest star on General Hospital as a patient, gave Rob Schnieder an orgasm in an SNL skit, had a small role in the movie "Necessary Roughness" and he was the starting QB in the Superbowl 4 years in a row. Obviously "General Hospital" And "SNL" aren't what they were in the early 90's, and unless you were the "Isotoner" or "L.A. Gear" pitchman, national ad campaigns weren't there like they are now. So to be in a movie and on national TV other than MNF was a a pretty big deal back then. I think he was as famous as a QB with no rings playing in a small market could get.

Gotta go with "Conrad" after Conrad Dobler the meanest Bill of all time. Unless your getting a foo foo lap dog, in that case you should kill yourself. This thread is stupid by the way, and I hate myself for contributing to it.

Harris looks like a ST pick and he'll probably be a LB to slow to be a S, plus hes 235lbs.

Whitest O-Line in NFL
Cru Jones replied to Steve In Atlanta 2008's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats pretty racial, about as racial as saying... I wouldnt have a black qb they just dont have it in them. saying youre gonna keep it from being racial and directing it at white people doesnt make it not a racial. -

Patriots are lilly white from left to right. -
i dont know a lot about this guy but i know there were some better value and need picks at that point. Someone should also let the FO know that just because it was thier third pick they dont have to pick a third rounder.

Here's where the story broke. It doesnt reference the picks involved though.

Anybody hear about the Parrish to Pittsburgh rumor? I just got home from work and assumed that it would be all over the board. What I heard: Roscoe strait up for a fourth or Buffalos 3rd and parrish for Pitts 2nd. how valid this is; i dont know, i got it second hand. If anybody else has heard about this please confirm it or correct me on the details.

I think they mean the font change in "Jacksonville Jaguars" because there is zero difference on the helmet logo.
-
Then it wouldnt be a stretch to say that centers correlate to wins anfd losses?
-
...it was some scrub version of UFC on Showtime, and as they panned the audience you could see Trent Edwards clappin it up for the fighters . No word on whether he was tazered after the fight.

I really hated Chris Watson. Every third down you could guarantee the ball was going to his man, and that his man would move the chains.

tim tebow will win super bowl
Cru Jones replied to jax bill backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont doubt the possibility of that happening at all. Although he'll get that ring as a third string gadget play QB. -
Forget Gonzalez; he wants to go to a big market. And since Houston Tagged Dunta Robinson instead of Owen Daniels, they should try and give him a long term deal. That eliminates TE from thier draft needs for 4-5 years at least, and they can go WR or Center in Rd 2.

I dont know how old this is but i just saw it and it is hilarious http://www.heavy.com/video/63909#/channel/250605

Too early to give Hamden a shot?
Cru Jones replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking this when Serpico came in and went 3nOut. Hes not going to be here next year, hes not starting next week if TE is healthy, and i'd like to see what hamdan is made of. If they want him as a #2 next year, then that was as good a time as any to see if they should resign him or let him go. -
Does anyone know the Bills W-L record while using the throwbacks? The only wins I can remember, are the raiders this year, and I think Houston a couple years ago. I know they got beat down by the bucs, had a heartbreaker to dallas, and lost today vs the 49ers in those uni's. As a somewhat superstitious Bills fan who loves those throwbacks i'd like someone to give me info as to wheather they're a lucky charm or a black cat; or maybe I just need to realize that they can lose to anybody, on any day reguardless of what they are wearing when "Skeletor" (or anybody TD hired) is wearing the headset.
