Fair enough. Let me ask you Skoobs, who said they were "happy" with the defense?
Well, I guess nobody really did say they were "Happy" per se, my bad. I go back to waxing my rig.
-
Just under 4.6, ~ a Mike Willams time.
A speed game was never his forte', He is a body positioning and route running type expert.
-
Go back to polishing your Beemer, Skooby.
Seems like a valid point & quite the response to the very reasonable argument I have made. In the middle of the road is where road kill lay.
-
For all that are happy with a middle of the road defense, I salute you. Even if we make it to the top 5 on offense, we are going no where without a top 10 D to hold us up in some of the important games. Even in our best offensive days, the defense held down many a game to finish it up. Without a strong defense, you end up losing.
Case in point: The NE juggernaut that could not do anything but score during the regular season couldn't find the notch in the most important game of the year and ended up with a * and a loss to finish the season. Keep that all in mind before you break your arm patting last years under .500 / couldn't beat a team with a winning record on the back.
-
Keith Ellison is a perfect fit for a perennial 7-9 team that beat zero teams having a winning record...perfect match. He's a bend-and-break-later kind of guy.
Admit it, Lance Briggs would look out of place here.
Next thing, you'll want to replace Kyle Williams with Ngata and Bryan Scott with a Bob Sanders.
LOL, classic post. Some folks really believe they are watching football when they are really learning it.
-
Until this season, Ellison was a backup LB. (He is ideal for that.) He ended up starting due to injuries. If he goes into the season as the starter for the season, it is a big mistake, IMO.
I mean it cannot be anymore obvious, man.
-
Wow, go back to watching Barney.
Keith isn't a bad player at all, he just isn't a good one. He doesn't hurt our defense in being out there, he just doesn't do much to help it. Being average is far from "sucking" and "having no place in the NFL."
Seriously, get a clue.
You watch football and wonder how we lose close games, he is a prime example of why. If any of this flew by you, you're clueless.
BTW: That Barney crack earned you some demerits as well, you know better.
-
If Florio got paid to write this, I know why the US is in a recession.
-
Putting Keith on the field at all is a direct slap at all the season ticket holders and anyone who paid to attend that game. The man has no place to be in the NFL at all and would never even come close to the field on any contending team. The moment he leaves the Bills is the moment I know we expect more of our 7-9 record.
In a nutshell, the man sucks as a player. You play with guys that suck, plan on sucking as well. Field a winning product, expect to win.

Busting my nuts honey is a more likely line.

Do you know why thousands of companies don't want to hire convicted felons? It's because they don't want a repeat of the criminal activities at their place of business. So what is Vick going to do, hold dog fights in the dead of night at the stadium of the team he plays with? The odds of Vick being involved in any criminal activities at an NFL stadium are pretty darn slim.
Whether he could have played the last two years or not, Vick has already lost 2 years of a very finite career. To ban him any longer would be the longest ban other than a lifetime ban.
The legal system has released him from jail, if he messes up, he'll go back. He should be reinstated and then we can see which team is stupid or desperate enough to hire him. Odds are much higher it will be the Dolphins than the Bills.
Very valid point.

Well, it seems as though outright lying in your specialty:

It's no surprise to see you forgot to mention the charges against Kobe were dropped for lack of evidence and a "victim" that was caught lying. Perhaps you should be teaching your children that in the USA people are innocent until found guilty. Maybe that could replace the "running a dog torture/killing enterprise is no big deal" lesson.
Your kids are probably more worried about having a father who is a chronic liar, than about the troubles of some professional athlete. At least they should be.
He bought his wife a $3 M jewelry piece because of his innocence as well, just like every guy would do. I also confused myself about another interview that I had read that he wasn't there, oops. I never went back to that thread nor do I need to chase detractors complaining about nothing. You don't have to worry about my kids, they'll be just fine.
Vick would be a better backup then what we have on the team now, my point.
-
I don't know you personally SKOOB, but I suspect you may not have kids that will come up and ask you "Daddy why did Micheal Vick kill dogs like our dog?"
Yet lets cheer him on, now does that seem right to you?
Kobe Bryant raped and sodomized a female hotel employee, he didn't look that worried about it holding the trophy this year did he? Winning has a way of helping the memory forget doesn't it?? I say we bring on every criminal / felon we can get and pass on the character thing, it looks like we have done that already any way.
Ray Lewis is teaching now, pray for forgiveness.
PS My kids are 10 / 7, they're aren't to worried about Vick right now.
-
Vick will be in the NFL again & denying him the ability to make money because of his convictions is just wrong. He ne er did anything before this dog fighting incident and served his time, let him play.
Personally, I would like Vick as a back-up for our team. He can do some wicked wildcat stuff and could really throw a few trick plays in there for us to score.

1.) T.O.
2.) Evans
3.) Steve Johnson
4.) Roscoe
5.) Josh Reed
-
Reed is a #4 WR at best and is never been considered a threat by any other team we played.
The attitude is not a public thing, nor FO.
Check the stats this year and tell me if he is a true #3 afterward. I will say he is a # 5 with no chance to make the team next year (last part is my personaly opinion).
-
#1 Aaron Schobel , injury thing
#2 (Tie) Donte Whitner and Marshawn Lynch, both are one arrest away from off the roster, sorry guys, I don't trust either one of them. Again, sorry!
TC is almost here so I assume ML can play it cool until then, otherwise he would of been a choice of mine as well.
-
I am going to go with:
1.) Maybin because of his smallish size.
2.) Josh Reed because he is on the outs / his attitude.
-
I hope that the Bills throw the kitchen sink at every team, no mercy.
-
Bradys mid part of leg
-
I've got to give you this one. You're right.
Still a !@#$ing moron, though, so don't let it go to your head.
Yeah thanks, I think.
-
He wasn't on there, they just wanted to talk about him.
-
Fun. The man is alive and likes to live / play football. I watched that whole 1st episode of his show and thought, wow this guy is alive. Jim Kelly used to go out with Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, Talley and a few other guys and just live. How refreshing is it to have someone that looks like they can control themselves all the time.
GO T.O.
-
5.) Ralph Parts the Red Sea.
6.) Russ changes water to wine.
I'm Joking obviously, I think we'll do great.

A top 10 D translated into a playoff spot 70% of the time last season, which is huge.
