Burress, Boldin, Johnson being shopped

Whatever it takes, get it done. -
You guys like any of these boys to play for the Bills and if so why?? Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for the troubled receiver, sent an e-mail to the NFL's teams earlier this week letting them know that Burress was one of his three clients who wants to be traded, an NFL executive told The Associated Press on Thursday. The person requested anonymity because the e-mail was supposed to remain private. The Star-Ledger of Newark was the first to have the story, reporting in its Wednesday editions that Rosenhaus' initial e-mail to the teams said that Burress could be acquired through a trade. However, the NFL executive who asked not to be identified because he had to deal with Rosenhaus, said the initial e-mail said that the agent had three "players DESIRING a trade." The other two players are Anquan Boldin of the NFC champion Arizona Cardinals and Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals. Arizona general manager Rod Graves did not return a telephone call left by The Associated Press at his office. Giants general manager Jerry Reese refused to comment. Rosenhaus did not return two telephone calls and an e-mail seeking comment. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9212128...n-being-shopped

What amazes here I point out factual events that are going to come about soon and then predict a potential outcome from those events based on the 0-2 we are in the draft. Instead of debating the 0-2 in the draft or making up your own outcome, you decide to challenge the facts. Read the statement below which was posted above this and then retry to think it out. I also do not care about football experience, I care about the results. We have missed the playoffs for this entire millenium thus far and all the experience in the world has gotten us no where. Even the cards with a revamped Warner / E. James made the big show and you cannot tell me that Lynch can't outrun Edge. Our basics have been missing for 10 years now and we keep retrying to invent the wheel. Get the lines solid, get some guys that can actually catch a pass when they do get open and keep Bobby April exactly where he is. After all of that comes together, we might make some noise. Gone: Losman, Jenkins, Omon, Simpson, Greer (UFA), Fox, McIntyre, Costanzo, Lehman, Whittle, Fowler, Mace, Preston, Scott, Royal, Stupar, Bryan. That 17/53 = 32.08%. So even if we keep 1 or 2 of these guys, replacing more than 1/4 of the roster is guaranteed. -

How many of those 2nd half of the season games did we win?? I'd like to break the season upon different pieces as well but the reality is success is based on a full 16 games. This post is based on where we stand today. If we do well with FA & the upcoming come draft, that obviously makes a difference. -
We are heading into the teeth of the lion this season. Our schedule is very difficult and we have some major holes on both sides of the line. I don't think our defense could pressure a high school QB, much less an NFL one. Our O-line, while doing a decent job of defending our QB's, did nothing for Marshawn / Freddie. Fowler needs walking papers and I would lose one other player on the O-line just to make another change. I watched our new 6'9" WR run and he is Frankenstein, Royal is absolutely useless with stone hands and I could safely say that every other TE we have needs to be axed. Looking at the big picture, we have to replace about 1/4 of our current players to get to .500. When you add in the upcoming schedule and our front office's limited experience, you have a formula to draft 8th or better in the 2010 draft. Plan on the Bills picking 3rd.

That's generous.

Big drugs = Lack of reality. -
If I we're a potential draftee, I'd get the meanest video ever made and send it to everybody twice. That being said, if he's available in the 2nd round we need to get him.

Do they still make that lime Gatorade gum??

Bobby for GM: For the third time in five years Bobby April’s special teams units are the league’s best. In the annual rankings compiled by Dallas Morning News columnist Rick Gosselin, who is the architect of the 22-category system for the NFL’s special teams units, Buffalo was again atop the list matching their top rankings of 2004 and 2005. Over the last five seasons the Bills’ special teams units have been arguably the most dominant in football ranking, first, first, third, fourth and first in the league. Buffalo, which was third heading into the final week of this past season, vaulted ahead of Tennessee and Cleveland into the top spot come season’s end. The lower a team’s composite score the better. The Bills had a figure of 254, Tennessee was second (268.5) and Cleveland third (269). April’s group ranked first in only two of the 22 categories used to determine the league’s top unit, but were in the top five in five other categories and in the top 10 in seven others. That consistency through several areas of special teams allowed Buffalo to rise to the top. But that consistency was not there at the beginning of the season. With a host of new players and undrafted free agents making up a good portion of his units, the performance steadily improved as the season wore on. Still by midseason there was a big jump Buffalo’s special teamers would have to make to be in striking distance of the top spot. What Mr. Wilson Wants this Off-season

#1a WR will be a focal point. -
Most of the folks that buy NFL have their money in order, this isn't like a Visa purchase. As per the final sale amount, $500 M is $10 a year made for 50 years. $10 M was alot of money in 1960 as well, just like today.

You must of missed Ralph's HoF speech.

The TV deals have gotten alot bigger over the past 10 years but his overall return has trumped that by alot.

You maybe right but I wonder if Brady on a shelf forced that option. Paying a guy who has one decent season ~10% of your salary cap seems a bit strong.
