  1. W or M something was the team, I cannot remember what it was. The story is real and I really don't care if you or anyone else doesn't believe it. I still have friends that run that place and if you call there and ask for Red, he'll verify Skooby in an instant (and this being the truth). Nice homework project for some of you who may not believe me.
  2. Well, what the heck is that new line for a chorus?
  3. I was playing Junior AAA at holiday twin rinks during the summer when Mogilny got to town, one of the Sabres and me went to the GEO store and bought him a 4X4 tracker to get around. Mogilny also played on our team and scored like 4 goals a game and this league did not suck. We had multiple NHL's out there and even a few WNY high schoolers that ended up going pro (one guess, he played for the oilers). I remember that Alex would not fly and he would drive that GEO everywhere and had to be bused to toronto for the games, I am talking BA Barabus from the A-Team type fear here. I for the life of me cannot remember the team name but Toby (RIP) was out there helmetless and violent as ever at the time, aahhhh memories.
  4. How is anyone going to defend TO, Josh, Lee Evans & out of the backfield the new 6'5" kid (Nelson) who can run, jump and catch?
  5. Captain of the team.
  6. He'd give us depth.
  7. Did no one else in the NFL draft guys that can play other positions??
  8. Where the last 2 picks supposed to be amazing right now without playing a NFL down?
  9. Hmmm.... , I hope we can play the teams in their division 6 times as well.
  10. Based on us filling needs, he's all wet. We've been hurting on the lines for years and focused on that this draft and even after it with some UDFA we picked up.
  11. There are other aspects of the kids they see that we cannot, like attitude. First impressions are so important and obviously Maybin said something that lead them to believe that he was a better choice. People get names locked in their head and think that player is better when it's not the case. Good looking draft for us, quite possibly a deal changer if the first 5 see the field this season.
  12. Still, the next pick should make 5. It's like ending the race early and saying you failed to win.
  13. He said it is something the team would like to explore. I want to STRESS he said explore. http://www.wgr550.com/How-would-Hill-look-...s-blue-/4274769
  14. We've never gotten over a C from him, ever. Big step in the press' eye.
  15. • Buffalo Bills: May have found four eventual starters in first two rounds. Had only 24 sacks last year so DE Aaron Maybin becomes an immediate savior. Lacks bulk at 236 pounds but quick off the edge. Traded back into first round for C Eric Woods, a position of need. CB Jairus Byrd lacks speed but knows how to play. G Andy Levitre is versatile, has played T, but figures more inside as the Bills rebuild their line. How much immediate help any of these players supplies is the open question. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...ft-grades_N.htm
  16. 1. Aaron Maybin DE/OLB - Is he really just going to go in on obvious pass plays and think that our opponents won't make adjustments knowing we're expecting a pass?? This kid needs to be ready to run a QB down on 1st or 3rd down. Grade: B- 2. Eric Wood OG/C - Seems like a mean MF that can't get his jolley's inflicting pain on the street, so he plays football instead. I personally like people that have a violent streak playing for our team, it builds character and forces your opponent's to really think oh no not this F-guy again. Grade: A 3. Jairus Byrd CB/S - I actually heard a ringing endorsement from a complete stranger watching the draft that I ran into while at the hockey game last night. The AFC east is going to be a competitive offensive zone and this kid maybe able to directly punish people, he can do it (and has). Grade: B+ 4. Andy Levitre OG/C - I think he gives us depth and has a good chance of being a starter, maybe a mild reach at this point but i'm glad to have him aboard. Grade: B- 5. Shawn Nelson TE - Huge 6' 5" target that can catch a ball but can he run a NFL route?? Personally, we added a offensive weapon and "stole" this pick. 3rd ranked TE in the draft but he might end up better than all of them if we actually decide that a TE can catch a pass (something we've been missing for many years). He has an ability to make plays down the seam and create mismatches all over the field. Grade: A 6. Nic Harris S/LB - Great value pick and a signal to some current players that their time is up. Grade: B- 7. Cary Harris CB - Great production at USC but did we need another CB? Grade: C+ 8. Ellis Langkster CB - I would of taken Willy just to have a local boy come aboard and try to use him as a 3rd string QB but we take a CB, what a suprise. Grade: C- Total Grade for the Bills: B - We filled alot of needs and concerns & look to have turned a corner on our lines. Go Bills.
  17. Well there you go.
