  1. True.
  2. Tony has no "no trade clause" & whoever steps up to give KC the best package gets the unhappy player. Bills Have one of the best records in the league & a easy schedule.
  3. Tony Gonzalez wants the New York Giants, but do the Giants want him? That question will be answered by 4p.m. Tuesday , when the NFL's trading deadline arrives. Gonzalez, the future Hall of Fame tight end, has requested a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs. And not only has he asked to be traded to a contender, but he specifically mentioned the Giants. So far, the Giants have only expressed a lukewarm interest, reportedly offering a sixth-round pick. According to various reports, the Chiefs are looking for either a second- or a third-rounder. Giants GM Jerry Reese declined to confirm or deny those reports, saying only, "We investigate everything. You guys know that." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/KC...?urn=nfl,114757
  4. Peterson is doing a great job in KC, he should be picking in the top 5. Take the picks and try to build a team, you have nothing right now.
  5. Look Enrico saved the queen.
  6. McDaniel: I want my Brady! BB obviously lives in his own world & his 20 point conversion with 2 seconds left wasn't going to work out.
  7. Pats lost, cowboy lost, Broncos lost, Giants lost, Redskins lost, Fins lost.....
  8. Assuming the outcome of some baseline testing today is positive, expect Trent Edwards to start at quarterback for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Edwards practiced with the Bills on Monday morning for the first time since he suffered a concussion against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 5 and expects to play against the Chargers, who are coming off a 30-10 home victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. “As far as I’m concerned — yes,” Edwards said when asked if he would be ready to play Sunday. The Bills’ medical staff cleared the second-year quarterback for practice Monday morning. “I came in here today and met with them this morning and [they said] we’re going to give it a go today, there’s no reason to hold you back,” Edwards said. “I was feeling pretty good today at practice. We still need to work some kinks out, work some things out, but for the most part, I thought it was a good practice.” Wide receiver Lee Evans agreed with that assessment. “He was normal; he’s Trent,” Evans said. “It wasn’t like a new quarterback back there. He just came back in and just played his game and executed out there at prac- tice.” Edwards worked with the first offensive unit Monday, although backup J. P. Losman handled a segment of practice when the Bills worked on their no-huddle offense. In his first media availability since the injury, Edwards said the headaches he was suffering as a result of a hit by Adrian Wilson of the Cardinals went away during the Bills’ weekend off. “I’m getting better each day,” Edwards said. “It was a tough couple days after the hit, and I had some headaches and some residual side effects from it, but slowly and surely they’re going away. And the doctors and trainers were pleased with my progress and I’m feeling healthier and better each day, which is a good thing.” http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/story/463044.html
  9. Tony is coming to Buffalo or bust.
  10. Peters on there?
  11. It'll be worth it if we get him, keep those TG threads a coming.
  12. Quick, someone flatten those tires.
  13. Hopefully Russ is working late tonight.
  14. Let's get TG first.
  15. And then... Submitted by The_Truth on October 13, 2008 - 2:04pm. ...Jared took another swig from his bottle of brew with a chaser while the "18 year old" dancer entertained him as he handed over $20 bills...and everything was right in the world. Jared further commented: "We really demolished Detroit 12-10 and they are a better team then their record shows" "Maybe if Tony comes up,we can all get together on a house boat we have here in Minnesota like we did the night before the game." "The defensive guys here really know how to party". Tony G. again did not respond although he was thinking to himself that it must be a conincidence that the beverage stock was rising at Boulevard Brewery since Jared left. A foreshadow of things to come in K.C.'s bleak sports and adult beverage economy. No fans left to drink the new Kool-Aid brew. Tony read the text again and thought to himself..."we weren't that tight" and promptly deleted the text as he rushed to meet his rep for a conference call with the Buffalo Bills. http://overthetop.kansascity.com/?q=node/519 Enough of the Lies...
  16. Quarterback Trent Edwards practiced with the Bills this morning for the first time since he suffered a concussion against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 5 and said he expects to play in Buffalo's home game against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Edwards said the headaches he was suffering as a result of a hit by Adrian Wilson of the Cardinals went away during the Bills' weekend off and he was allowed to practice "full go" in the team's practice. Edwards worked with the first offensive unit, including the segment of no-huddle offense. "It's getting better each day," said Edwards, who spent most of the Bills' weekend off watching football and his favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.| The second year quarterback said he still has to pass some base-line testing on Tuesday before he will be declared ready to face the Chargers, who are coming off a 30-10 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/story/462402.html
  17. Trent just got interviewed: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...de-3191397b2cc1
  18. Giants blog: If he were to be traded, would he become a major player in the offense? Is Kevin Boss fulfilling any expectations at this point? TG would be a complementary piece, no question. The Giants are very traditional in their thinking about the tight end, anway, which is one of the things that grated on Jeremy Shockey. They have 5 wideouts they throw the ball to consistently, and Kevin Boss has only 5 receptions. That's not because he is terrible, it's because the Giants have incredible depth at wide receiver. I could see Gonzalez catching more balls than Boss, but the Giants are not re-structuring the offense for him. He will have to take what comes. Boss has been fine, by the way. His blocking has been better than expected, and he has caught what has been thrown to him. TG would see the ball about 20 times a year for the NYG, using Boss's average. Does that make sense for them to have that much tied up in 1 position with Boss there?? Not in my opinion.
  19. The more, the better.
  20. Gonzo is going to be represented by his agent at that event.
  21. You have any popcorn??
  22. No reason to blow up a deal over a spot or two if you have it in hand and it's what you expected. I personally think that KC is on the phone right now letting TG know that he is going to the Bills, which would really make me happy. That type of talent showing up here would only validate our arrival and improve our team. TG is 6'5" and 251 lbs, that's a freaking target and know commodity.
