  1. Certainly worthy of a LAMP. Congrats!
  2. Then maybe you should have used 10 exclamation points instead of 15. Read what Lori wrote. That's all you need to know about this topic.
  3. Someone ban this guy before he makes another post.
  4. Not using a mac (unfortunately), but all is working fine for me.
  5. That's great. Now maybe officiating crews will actually call penalties on the Patriots. No flags
  6. OK. I admit it. This made me laugh.
  7. Agree with much of that, Rich. The biggest thing I agree with is that people need to calm down. There are so many 'tards on this board during the game, and especially after the game. I still like this team. A week from today, we'll have a two-game lead on the Jets and a game on the Pats, and we'll be in sole possession of first place again. And if you don't want to think about next week, then take this to heart. Pittsburgh is going to win their division. Tennessee is going to win their division. Someone is going to win the West (either Denver or San Diego). Let's say New England makes the playoffs. Who else is there? The Jets? The Ravens? We're currently a game in front of them and yes, despite what happened today, we're playing better football than both of them. The Colts? I see the Colts every weekend. While I don't think they're dead yet, this team is a mess right now. The Chargers? All I hear is how dangerous they are. Well, they have five losses and we have a tie-breaker on them. Jacksonville? Same thing. We have problems. We need to get better. But I'll take 5-2 and the direction I feel we're headed this season and be just fine with it, even with today's stinker.
  8. You don't have to look deeper. Don't fumble. Don't throw interceptions. Win the game. We have a good, solid football team that doesn't turn the ball over and doesn't commit a bunch of penalties. That was not the case today. If we avoid turnovers and we don't have a bunch of penalties, we'll be fine.
  9. We can't run the ball? We averaged 4.4 yards per carry. Miami averaged less than two yards per carry. Yet, we rushed the same number of times (27). It had nothing to do with not being able to run the ball; rather it was our lack of commitment to running the ball. We had second and one and tried a deep ball to a rookie receiver. And on third and one, we tried a quarterback sneak that resulted in a fumble. That play, IMO, was the kick in the balls. Give the ball to Marshawn and shove it down their throat...just like we did on the opening drive of the second half. I felt like we were about to go up 23-20. Then it's game on. But if you're looking for the real reason we lost the game, it's this: We lost the game because we had three turnovers (basically four since we allowed a safety as well). End of story.
  10. Hey gang. For the past few months I have received a digital newspaper called The Sporting News Today. It's a fantastic read, with great coverage of many sports. It's free too. If you sign up, it's delivered to your in box at about 7:30 EST every morning. In today's issue, there's a great story on our Bills on p. 16. Sporting News Today No motives here...just thought I'd share.
  11. I think ESPN2 airs it at 6:30 EST.
  12. Well Tony and Mike are on PTI talking about him being an MVP candidate, let alone in the Pro Bowl.
  13. No arguing that. But what's important is that you know that and I know that and the people on this board know that. To hell with everyone else.
  14. The Red Sox will still get the media coverage, both positive and negative. I see what you're saying, but the truth is there is a flip side to getting all of the press. For example, Joba gets a DUI on a Saturday night in Nebraska. If Joba played for the Royals, would it have been the second headline on ESPN.com? I'd say no. Think Marshawn's case this summer would have generated more negative press if he was Dallas' running back? Sure it would have. As a fan of a team that gets shoved down the public's throat with every move (Yankees) and a fan of a team that's largely ignored (Bills), I much prefer to have the team out of the spotlight.
  15. By the third quarter A half empty stadium In northern Cuba
  16. Hard to argue with that. Curious about a couple of things...Ashton did not play...is that correct? Did McCargo play? How did Duke do (Duke do...is that offensive?)?
  17. I know what you mean. I was putting words in someone's mouth. My point is, I don't care who we've beaten or what their records are. We are 5-1. End of story. If it was easy, the Rams wouldn't have won at Washington last week, then destroyed Dallas today. They're all hard in this league. We have nothing to apologize for. I wish folks on this site wouldn't get swept up with feature stories about our team, power rankings or talking heads who igore us. Who gives a rat's ass?
  18. And we still haven't beaten a team worth a crap. After all, the Chargers are 3-4. I care. Really. I do.
  19. 25 of 30, 261 and a score. No picks.
  20. Get well soon, Terrence. For the love of GOD, get well soon.
  21. Well your team won last night, so let's take that as a good sign, even though the success of the Red Sox has got to be a sign of the apocalypse.
  22. And in other scores, both ESPN.com and the CBS ticker shows that the Bears lead the Vikings 7-1.
  23. I'll answer you in about three hours.
