  1. "You forgot the Bills." -Gugny And also, the Jaguars and the Bucs- no.
  2. More people need to see his posts to really understand how radical this guy's opinions are when it comes to Taylor. It's really quite something. And startlingly, he's actually a pretty sensible guy when it comes to politics. He just has this grudge against Taylor that is beyond outrageous. My brother didn't believe me when I told him there was a guy on TBD who thinks that Manuel is better than Taylor.
  3. Was gonna say, Sanchez can't be worse than their QB production last year. My question is, what in the world is the point of declaring a starter now? What if Lynch radically outplays Sanchez throughout the offseason?
  4. I read most of this thread and this is the only post that I can take seriously.
  5. You really believe in your heart of hearts, your brain of brains, that as we sit here right now in 2016, that EJ Manuel is a better QB than Tyrod Taylor? Do you have any idea how insane you sound? I don't even think EJ Manuel thinks that. And we're not too far off as far as what the Bills were last year but they were 8-8, they were 13th in offense, 19th in defense, which averaged out, comes to 16th. So they did not "suck." They were as average a team as there could possibly be.
  6. I agree with you guys on this one but to be fair, for our two games that weren't the same, we got the Bengals and the Chiefs. They got the Browns and the Raiders. They dismantled the Browns as we would have. You switch the Bengals and the Browns and we're both 9-7. I think the caller's point is that yes, the Jets finished with a better record than the Bills last year, which is undeniable- they were a better team. But it's not like we have any ground to make up to overtake them. I don't think they're any better than us right now. I would be shocked if the Bills weren't ahead of the Jets in most preseason power rankings.
  7. I actually agree with you that the Jets were a better team than the Bills last year. I suspect, however, that our reasons for why that is the case are vastly different. You fail to understand that the offense outperformed anyone's wildest wet dreams and meanwhile, the defense did not hold up its end of the bargain. With every post, you are intimating that the reason the Jets did finish with a better record than the Bills last year is because they got better QB play than us. Which, of course, they did not. Then again, you have now stated that: a) The Bills QB situation is the worst it has been in your memory as a Bills fan, including the 1985 season, in which they were coming off of 2-14, just lost Joe Ferguson, their QB for the last decade, and were going into camp with a washed up Vince Ferragamo and Bruce Mathison duking it out. They finished 2-14 again. But that, to you, was a better QB situation than a firmly-entrenched-as-starter Tyrod Taylor. b) Tyrod Taylor is the worst (32nd best) starting QB in the NFL right now. There is literally not one NFL team you would not trade QB situations with. c) And best of all, EJ Manuel > Ryan Tannehill > Tyrod Taylor. You are not a homer at all. You are like the complete opposite of a homer.
  8. Dude your whole shtick... it's just the worst man.
  9. So two Lawsons, two Williams and two Browns all starting in our front seven? Interesting.
  10. Let me guess, Tyrod Taylor is one of the worst additions the Bills have made during Whaley's entire tenure. Pray tell, what were the other two.
  11. So Tyrod Taylor can't win a Super Bowl but just last season the Super Bowl was won by a team that literally got the worst quarterback play of any team in the entire league? Got it.
  12. What'd you get this from Draft Day?
  13. That can't be right. Look at the guy above him. According to Gugny, he sucks.
  14. Alright well perhaps I stand corrected. I did not gather this from your original post. There is no such thing as locking Taylor up to a contract that would meet his market value (think Brock Osweiler's 4 years, $72 million + a whole lot more) in a "cap-friendly" way right now. Thanks to Terry Pegula owning the Bills, they are actually up against the cap for once. Everybody understands this. If he plays well next year, they'll make it work. The key point here is that the Bills hold all the leverage. They can always just franchise him. I kind of feel like the adamantly pro-Taylor people, the optimistic but wait-and-see types (like me and 95% of Bills fans- you know, the people that Ryan L Billz refers to as "fanboys") and the five guys who inexplicably hate him, all understand and agree on this.
  15. Please show me a link to where PTR, or anyone else for that matter, suggests that the Bills should sign Tyrod Taylor to an extension before the season starts.
  16. Dude they don't have the money even if they wanted to sign him long term. Next year they will. Who thinks they should sign him like right now? I feel like maybe a handful of people thought that when the season first ended but as their cap situation became more clear, pretty much everyone understands that it's an impossibility.
  17. Come on dude. I feel like you're better than this. 1. Taylor "sucked" in "most" of his starts? Really? Out of 14 starts, he "sucked" in at least 8 of them? 2. And for the millionth time, the Bills schedule was not "painfully easy." Their strength of schedule and strength of victory were 4th and 5th in the AFC, respectively. 3. No one ever said they want to give him a big contract now. Like literally no one. Everyone in all of Bills land, including, seemingly, Tyrod Taylor, is in agreement that if he takes another step he'll get paid and if he doesn't, he won't. That's it. 4. "Pure crap?" Really?? Why the agenda, man? No reasonable person could read what you write about this guy day after day and determine that you have been the least bit objective in your analysis. As I've stated numerous times, it is so painfully and blatantly obvious that you have it out for him because you're still butt hurt about EJ Manuel. Sorry man. We both know this is the case. Read what you just wrote and tell me with a straight face that you would be talking about Manuel that way if he had the season/numbers that Taylor did in 2015.
  18. You're aware the Bills had a better record than the Raiders last season, right?
  19. I agree that the Eagles are imploding but I don't think the signing of TJ Graham is really indicative of that. Every team brings in camp bodies. The Bills have like ten receivers on their roster right now.
  20. It's so easy to be a Monday Morning QB but Russell Wilson was a freaking layup there. So was Rob Gronkowski. And in both instances, they went the "cute" route and took guys who weren't even projected to go in that round. In TJ Graham's case, most had him projected as a 7th rounder or so.
  21. According to his standard formula, Donald Trump has a) blamed Obama for the lack of flyovers currently, b) told us that as president, he will bring back flyovers but c) not told us how he plans to do it.
  22. Predictably, everyone on here will praise the Browns because in TBD land trading down good, trading up bad, but if I'm a Browns fan I'm thinking at some point I maybe need a QB. That being said, what the hell are the Eagles doing? Either a) they're not taking a QB or b) they HAVE to trade either Bradford (impossible) or Daniel, right? What a strange offseason.
  23. You think EJ played well against Cincinnati? Wow. Aside from the five minute collapse, he played better against Jacksonville to be honest.
  24. Look, aside from real estate the guy clearly doesn't know much about anything. It does not surprise me that he was good to Jim Kelly, who is a celebrity and, I'm sure, a Republican. But no way he's a legitimate Bills fan. No way. If you believe that, you believe he "LOVES" the people of North Dakota.
