  1. Yes! I told you someone would say it. And there's actually two guys who did that. How long have YOU been watching football?
  2. I never said Super Bowls were the end all be all in determining who the greatest players are. I think most people on here would rank Dan Marino ahead of Terry Bradshaw wouldn't they? I simply said that if you are using Super Bowls as A factor in determining a player's all time greatness- which, of course you should- then 4-2 obviously > 4-0.
  3. They are arguing that Brady making it to the Super Bowl and losing < Montana losing in the NFC Championship game, which he did twice. So Brady losing in the AFC Championship game last year was a greater accomplishment than had he won the game and then lost a hard fought Super Bowl to Carolina. Again, it is the dumbest, most illogical, antiquated argument I've ever seen but don't worry, someone will make it any minute now...
  4. No, of course not. Nor would Jeter be Jeter if he got drafted by the Astros. It is what it is. As it stands, Brady is the greatest QB post-Johnny Unitas/merger and it's not that close. Now greatest running back? That's an interesting conversation...
  5. If you know Brady is the best of all time then what's the problem? He is. And please, PLEASE don't less this devolve into the all-time dumbest argument in the history of TBD and misguided football fans in general: that Montana's 4-0 is better than Brady's 4-2.
  6. This thread made it to page 3? I should start a thread and say, "I like the Bills. They are a football team. I hope they win on Sunday."
  7. Dude! You're like the first person to ever have that take! Did you think of that all by yourself?
  8. I'm with you. What if the Bills went 11-5 this year and won a playoff game? Would this still be Ryan's last year with the Bills? Would make more sense if he said this to him last week.
  9. I wonder what would have happened if they just kept Gailey and let Fitzpatrick play out his contract. But yes, to your point, it definitely would have been better.
  10. Oh no, we're not just the worst team in the league. We're "by far" the worst team in the league.
  11. This is the first time I've even peeked at this board since Sunday when someone started a thread slamming Whaley for not drafting Garropolo and someone else started a thread saying the Bills are "by far the worst team in the league."
  12. Alright Biff from Tonawanda on the whiner line.
  13. Look pal. We all have lives. We also all spend countless hours on a website devoted solely to the Buffalo Bills. A sports team. If you follow sports, even remotely closely, Rachel Nichols has been nothing short of ubiquitous on ESPN over the course of the last two decades.
  14. How do you not know who Rachel Nichols is?
  15. Wentz could still suck. TBD land. Where the verdict is in on both Goff and Wentz one week into each of their careers.
  16. You believe, in your heart of hearts, that Fred Smerlas is a hall of famer?
  17. Yeah I don't know enough about his CFL career but is he considered like one of the greatest CFL players of all time? If so, he should be a hall of famer. EDIT: he IS widely considered the greatest CFL player of all time and as much as people don't want to hear it, he is far more deserved than anyone on that list outside of Owens, who is a shoe-in.
  18. It is rare that an OP poses a question that has such an easy, clear cut, definitive answer: nobody knows yet; it's ridiculously early to speculate or judge; for all we know he could end up in the hall of fame someday. /end thread. Sean Mannion was like a 4th round pick one year ago whom a lot of people liked and had shown well in camp this year. Do you know definitively that he is "bad?"
  19. What in the world does one have to do with the other?
  20. I thought he was going to say Jim Dray. Everybody forgot about Dray though.
  21. Name all the posters on TBD who know all the other 31 rosters well enough to give an intelligent answer to this question. Like who here is qualified to speak to the Bears' safety depth? Exactly.
  22. And once again, you heard it from metzelaars_lives before the rest of the media. Carry on.
  23. Don't be surprised if you get bad news today on Watkins' postgame x-rays. Hope I'm wrong on this one. And I am a pretty big Whaley supporter but entering this season with this WR corps was/is inexcusable.
