  1. Aint it about time someone said that?
  2. Guys, these posts HAVE to stop once and for all. We've all seen em. Some harmless guy starts a thread about how the Bills are now the 10th ranked defense, WHICH THEY ARE, and then predictably, the "yeah buts" begin. This idea that, "well we only beat these teams" and "yeah ok but this guy's stats were in garbage time" or my favorite, "well if you take out this game or that pass..." is beyond idiotic. EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL PLAYS AGAINST S****Y TEAMS. EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL FARES BETTER AGAINST S****Y TEAMS THAN THEY DO AGAINST GOOD TEAMS. EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL GETS AND GIVES UP GARBAGE TIME YARDS/POINTS SOMETIMES. NO TEAMS MORE THAN OTHERS. IT ALL BALANCES OUT. They are what their record is; they are what their stats are- the team as well as the individuals. Are there certain outlier situations like a team does worse against the pass because they're always up in games? Or all Blake Bortles' garbage time numbers last year? Sure. But every year, it's the same thing with you guys: well sure we're ranked this but we're really more like that because of this. Just stop. The Bills are just like every other team. They're not some special team whose circumstances are radically different from every other teams' every single season. Thank you.

  4. You can't help yourself can you? You're like Trump on Twitter.
  5. I keep saying it. Taylor is not a very good QB. Taylor is an effective QB. Taylor has a holding onto the football too long problem and is, more often than not, indecisive. Taylor leads a fairly prolific, high scoring offense with the worst/most depleted WR corps in the NFL this season. Everything I just said is indisputable.
  6. You always seem like a reasonable poster. Yes, I agree. WR HAS to be our first priority even if they re-sign Woods. I would put S second as it appears as though Aaron Williams is done for. How many teams in the NFL can say that they are rock solid at FOUR of the FIVE offensive line positions (besides Dallas of course)? They'll be fine at right tackle. They'll find a guy off the scrap heap who will be just fine. For all we know, Kujo becomes that guy. Their OL is fine. WR is a glaring, emergency situation need as is safety.
  7. That's a hole lot of truth right there.
  8. Ryan, I wish I could say the same for you but you have show that you're not better than this. Yes, because passing yardage is the only measuring stick of a QB's success. We saw it last year when he finished top 5 in YPA (the most important QB statistic) and passer rating, had a 20:6 TD:INT ratio, went 8-6 as a first year starter and yes, made a Pro Bowl appearance but you only cited his passing yardage when discussing him as if it was the only statistic that mattered. No one thinks/thought he's gonna throw for a ton of yardage- especially with easily the most depleted receiving corps in the league. And especially with the best running game in the league for two years running now. And I'm not making excuses for him, I agree with the premise of this thread that he needs to get rid of the football. But saying he needs to catch Case Keenum as if yardage is the only stat that means anything? Again, I know you're not better than that so not a shocker there.
  9. "After six years in the league" is just so unfair and so misleading and frankly, you're better than that. He's somewhere in between a guy who was a rookie last year and a guy who's actually played for six seasons and I think most people would argue he's closer to a guy in his second year in terms of what you'd expect from him. We know you don't like him but come on already. And I'm getting frustrated with him too but I expect more from you than "after six years in the league."
  10. Wow, Gugny starts an anti-Tyrod thread and Ryan Leonard Billz chimes in to second his displeasure. After a Bills win. No s**t. However, I generally agree. He needs to get rid of the football. That being said, as is my new stance on Taylor, I think he is a very effective QB for not being a very good QB. At the end of the day, 28 POINTS trumps your thread. Probably four.
  11. I have decided that Tyrod Taylor is a surprisingly effective QB for not being a good QB. I have supported him more than most but dude you gotta throw the football. But yet somehow, they still end up with 28 points and remain one of the highest scoring teams in the league. I don't know.
  12. I'm picking up some sarcasm here. But I would ask you- do you think a football internet message board is an appropriate place to joke about the president elect deporting someone based on their race? I am shocked this thread is still going. Geez, when I saw that video from the alt right gathering in DC the other day, I thought to myself, who are these people? Look around folks, they're everywhere. Happy Thanksgiving. Exactly.
  13. May you have a great day enjoying family, food and stewing about how much you hate Tyrod Taylor.
  14. Good point. We're the only team in the NFL that plays bad teams.
  15. 15 yards for PI unless it's deemed an egregious spot foul (dragging down a receiver to prevent a TD), which would be like 5% of PI calls. I've been saying this for like five years now. Completely agree. A PI call should not give the offense as many yards as an actual catch. It's an absurd rule.
  16. Or... he was useless earlier in the year and has really stepped up his game the last few weeks. Until the Seattle game, he had never shown any signs of being a "very good WR."
  17. Fitz never beat a .500 or better team, huh? Dude we've been through this. He won several games against teams .500 or better- both at the time and at the end of the season. And I've corrected you on this. And you were like, oh s**t, you're right. You have a short memory. Jesus, it just occurred to me. If we beat Jacksonville next week, that doesn't count either. But then we'd have a winning record so all the teams that beat us could say they beat a team with a winning record. Wait, now I'm confused.
  18. I love the Buffalo Bills. Always have, always will. Bills fans, by and large, are kinda dumb.
  19. Oh Terrell Davis is very close and will get in. And Warren Sapp is a no-brainer HOF'er.
  20. Anyone in the know has been aware that Aaron Rodgers is a huge dork for a while now.
  21. I used to think he'd never get in but with Ray Guy getting in, the NFL has shown that they're open to letting the gimmicky guy get in.
  22. So let me get this straight. Dude starts a thread asking what the Thanksgiving games are this year- something that you could find out on any number of websites within 15 seconds. Then, upon hearing what the matchups are- all of which should be decent games with playoff implications- states that he's not interested in watching any of them? Is this real?
  23. You gave Rex a third round rookie, Kyle Williams (beast), Corbin Bryant, two one year, one million dollar linebackers, a former third round pick who had largely unimpressed and Jerry Hughes (beast) as your front seven and a secondary that has absolutely sucked and they are ranked 14th overall, 13th in points allowed and first in sacks. In fact, when he did have All Pro defenders, his defenses were very much elite. So, like, what the hell are you talking about? And I don't disagree with you on stacking the offense going into next season. But Rex's defense has outperformed its expectations/perceived talent this season. Good post. Adding Watkins to that list obviously. But that works for me. Sprinkle a first round beast of a receiver in there and they're good right now.
