  1. He strikes me as more of a polo type of guy.
  2. How do you know that he is a crappy president already!?! What if his economic plan works? Aside from spending too much, what gripe could you possibly have with the man? That's like saying, well Mark Sanchez obviously sucks, the Jets should draft another QB in the first round next year cause this obviously isn't working. The guy is a rookie!!! Give him a full year before you declare him a "crappy president."
  3. Whoops, Sorry Lori.
  4. Obama had/has an economic plan. Most people on the right and left tend to think that it will eventually backfire. Thus far, if nothing else in the short term, it seems to be working (employment always lags 1-2 years behind the market). The stock market is way back up this year- whether you think it is a sucker's bull market or not, who knows? Would you rather it be way down again though? Besides sending more troops to die in Afghanistan (that may be the folly you're alluding to), what is this so-called leftist agenda? Attempting to improve a broken health care system? God knows if McCain were elected, nobody would even be talking about health care. I would hope we can agree that debate is healthy and it's about time that it's finally a national issue. You talk about an agenda? How about the 30 "Republicans for rape" congressmen? The partisanship on both sides is disgusting right now. I would appreciate some clarification on this "leftist agenda" that you speak of? Let me guess- Obama is a socialist, but without using wikipedia, you couldn't tell me what a socialist is. And uncosntitutional? Come on man, that's like saying to a Redskins fan, "I'm a Bills fan and ha ha, your coach sucks!"
  5. I didn't know we had a tea bagger on this board!?!
  6. a) Unlike a Republican, who would NEVER tune in to someone like Bill Maher, I actually watch Bill O'Reilly fairly often. He's definitely less partisan than just about every politican in the United States right now, so I'll give him that. I did however, tune in to Glenn Beck yesterday and... dude, come on. b) The reason their ratings are so high is because it's the only mainstream fanatical right wing news outlet that's readily accessible, whereas for rational people, you have several options. Unfortunately, radical right wing fanatical fear-mongering hatred is at an all-time high in the United States, so naturally their ratings are going to be very high.
  7. Although I'm not as much of a fan of Mr. Wilson as I used to be, I wouldn't do anything that would make him less inclined to want to do what he can to keep the team in Buffalo. I think that he is an inefficient owner and quite frankly, I'm sick of feeling like a hostage and hope he dies sooner than later so we can just dicover our fate now instead of always worrying about it. That being said, I don't think booing could possibly accomplish anything at this point. If he got overwhelming boos he could just as easily say, "ya know what, screw these people, I don't care if the team stays here or not when I'm gone."
  8. Yeah because Fox News is known for its legitimacy to begin with.
  9. Saw that after I posted. OK, a good LB, I don't care how much he weighs.
  10. I think I've gotten a clearer idea of what people think of Keith Ellison on here. If you think he is a horrendous football player, you are clueless. The consensus amongst rational fans seems to be that he is a reliable and durable backup LB. Personally, I think they need a hulking 265 lb. MLB ala Patrick Willis and then you move Poz and Mitchell back outside. Poz would be a solid second best LB on a winning team's roster and Mitchell would be a very solid third best LB on a winning team's roster. Ellison would be a solid backup/fourth best, etc. We just need one sick LB to bump everyone down a peg!
  11. Barrett Ruud is a pretty damn good LB that I would think even a casual football fan would be familiar with and Kirk Morrison is going to be a pretty highly sought after free agent next season.
  12. So you really think other teams are saying, "let's run at Keith Ellison as to avoid these undrafted rookie free agents and guys that the Rams cut that weren't playing football last week?"
  13. Keith Ellison is second in the NFL in tackles with 68. He has by far the most for an OLB (next most is 56, which is good for 11th place). Either a) the tackles statistic in the NFL is completely arbitrary and doesn't mean anything at all or b) maybe he is at the very least a pretty solid backup LB in the NFL and doesn't deserve to be cut as I would venture to say 90% of you on here think he should be. Or c) sarcastic response...
  14. No, that's because their team is unbelievable, thus they have a crapload of intense, bandwagon fans and it's only an 8-hour drive. There are a lot of regional Pats fans as well, I'd be willing to bet that half of the Pats jerseys you see in the Stadium are not worn by people who actually drove all the way from Boston.
  15. I thought I'd seen it all. First of all, DiGiorgio was cut outright. Second of all, yeah, that's how the Steelers and Ravens win- with linebackers like DiGiorgio.
  16. You're giving the Bills front office way too much credit. This has been a problem for years and they refuse to address it.
  17. Agreed. They have so many players on this team that haven't proven that they're not good yet that need to get some reps so we can see what we're working with: Hardy, Johnson, Nelson, the entire Offensive Line, Maybin, Ellis, Harris, etc. These are the guys that I'd like to see what they can do. Guarantee you there's a few ballers out of that group.
  18. Anyone know what players' contracts are up at the end of the year?
  19. How you can put DT ahead of QB and LB is mystifying. Stroud and Williams are two of the better players on the entire team. If you can't see that we have the smallest, softest LB's in the league then I don't know what to tell ya.
  20. This is draft or free agency... 1. HC 2. QB 3. MLB 4. LT That's really it. They're a coach, a QB, maybe a tackle (I haven't given up on Bell by any stretch), a hulking middle linebacker and little bit better of a pass rush away from being a very good football team. Sounds like a lot, but trust me, there are teams that are hurting a lot worse than us.
  21. Of course there were a lot of Bills fans at the game. Buffalo is not a desirable place to live. North Carolina is. Thus, when people from Buffalo graduate from college, they move to more desirable places to live such as Charlotte. As a result, the crappier the city that an NFL team represents, the more supposed "traveling" fans that team seems to have. See: Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo. That's why when you go to a Chargers-Lions game in Detroit, you're not going to see any Chargers fans because no one would ever move from San Diego to Detroit.
  22. No, the Texans are a competent football team. There are ten incompetent teams in the NFL- the Bills, Browns, Titans, Raiders, Chiefs, Redskins, Lions, Panthers, Bucs and Rams. We appear to be the best of the incompetent teams, however we are vastly inferior to the competent teams (let alone the good teams). The Jets played like an incompetent team last week. Do not expect the Texans to do the same.
  23. Come on man, you're smarter than that. False starts are a mental issue that he and the coaches need to work on. That has absolutely zero to do with how he's been playing once the ball is snapped. What did he get 2 or 3 holding penalties against New England? Wasn't that his first career game? Stick a fork in 'em, he's done. How many holding calls has he gotten since? You know what, you're a real bozo.
