Trent Edwards is better than Ryan Fitzpatrick right now in 2009. That being said, I think they figure Fitzpatrick is going to be their backup for awhile, why not get him some reps. Trent will be cut after the season.

I think everyone would agree that the League was a lot cooler when you had the Whale, the Nordiques and the Jets instead of the Hurricanes, Avs and Coyotes. Moving all the southern teams that nobody gives a crap about back to hockey-hungry cities like Quebec and Winnipeg would undoubtedly be good for hockey, however, it would do nothing in terms of boosting the popularity of hockey in the United States.

That's not happenin. Aside from maybe Ovechkin and Crosby, the average American has never heard of any hockey players. Listen, we love hockey, but it will always be a niche sport in a country that is far more interested in watching cars drive in circles for hours on end.

Thanks for the update. I don't think the roster needs to overhauled at all, just the coaching staff, including the strength & conditioning coach, and a handful of positions- admittedly some very key ones- and this team is a contender next year. They are not the Browns, Rams or Raiders, there is a A LOT of good, young talent on this team, someone just needs to grab them by their collective facemask and yell in their face with steam coming out of their ears (see: Gruden, John) instead of trying to be their buddy.

Potential what? That he may potentially end up with 500 yards receiving this year before he moves on to another team next year?

If Ralph keeps Jauron and pretty much the same players, minus TO, and the big offseason change is a new offensive coordinator, then all eight games will get blacked out next season. Fortunately for us, Ralph knows this and there will be much bigger changes than that. He got away with it once by signing TO, he will not get away with another gimmicky offseason move. The fans are at their breaking point and everyone knows it. God, I hope I'm right.

I was watching the game last night thinking, how can there be such an unbelievable disparity between an offense like the Saints and an offense like the Bills? And there was a play in the second half, not a big play, but Marques Colston went out maybe 15-20 yards, had single coverage, Drew Brees had about 4 seconds to throw and just hung it up in his general vicinity. It wasn't rocket science, it wasn't an unbelievable pass, it was just two people playing football just like they did when they were kids. Why the f*%& can't the Bills complete a 15-yard pass?

This is the year for the Griffs man. They got Turner as a senior and Parrotta's whole first recruiting class is all juniors. They got the European kid eligible to play this year and a pretty good-looking freshman class. If they can't do anything this year though, Parrotta is a goner. Koessler has been akin to the Ralph in years of late, here's to the Griffs turning it around. I'm so sick of Niagara being good- what a lame school, campus, town, etc. Let's get some excitement back at Main and Jefferson!

What does it even matter? Regardless of who's on our defense, half our starters will be hurt by Week 5 as long as they're wearing a Bills uniform.
