  1. Any comma always goes before the quotation marks. I'll leave it at that and assume your spelling mistakes were due to carelessness. You're welcome. Certainly have nothing to add, except I really miss Skooby's threads on topics such as these and I do agree with the overall premise of the article- that I have blind faith that Jim Kelly does in fact have something up his sleeve. Merry Christmas.
  2. Traveling yesterday, just re-visited this and I can't believe I'm actually getting involved in this again, but... Yeah, that's exactly what I said, there are NO annoying human beings at other NFL stadiums. Listen, don't put words in my mouth. If you don't think that there are more young, obnoxious drunk punks at Bills games than at other stadiums, then the only logical conclusion one could possibly make would be that you have never been to another NFL stadium. I myself have been to seven. I'm really starting to think that a lot of these guys I'm talking about also post on 2BD. Some people knew exactly what I was talking about right away, but most of you are living in this Buffalo bubble and need to travel a little bit. And if you want to say hi tom'w, my bro is the only one in the stadium who rocks a Phil Hansen jersey every week. He's 6'4". If you see him, I'm the one with the beard and the big blue carhartt next to him.
  3. Thank you. I think people that have never traveled to see the Bills at other stadiums assume that it occurs at every stadium, which it does not. It's novel, and I like taking people who have never been to a Bills game so they can see it, but when you're parked next to these kids, it's annoying.
  4. Listen smart guy, I'm not talking about rhythm & blues in the classic James Brown sense. I'm talking about music sung generally by male African-American singers, who sing about love to a slow beat. Surely, you must know what I'm talking about. I think I see what's going on here- I think a lot of the people I was talking about in my original post are posters on 2BD. If you can't wrap your arms around the concept that by having lower ticket prices, you open your doors to a lower common denominator of football fan, then I'm not sure how else to explain it. And no, you're wrong, every stadium doesn't have the idiots that you see at Bills games (at least not as many of them). Go to a Chiefs game sometime, it's adults having a kick-ass tailgate, complete with a great grill scene, drinking in excess. You just don't get the young punks you get at Bills games. Out.
  5. Time has passed me by? So if you were parked next to a group of kids crankin R&B loud, you would be cool with them?
  6. Dude, you have the wrong idea- I wasn't condemning partying, but there is a respectful way to do it. You think I'm not getting absolutely destroyed on Sunday? Crank some VH, hook up a nice grill scene and do it right. If an opposing fan walks by, if you're gonna call him out, you better be ready to back it up (ie. I saw Bruce Smith knock out Bledsoe in his first game). I am also 30, and when I was a kid, you had the dudes in stone-washed jeans, maybe zubas, mustaches and mullets, getting wasted and crankin classic rock. That's cool. If you don't see the distinction between that and what I'm talking about, I don't know what to tell ya.
  7. Good call. If the Bills were good, they could raise ticket prices and I think MOST Bills fans would view it as a necessity and not complain (if they had even a rudimentary understanding of football economics).
  8. I live out of town and I go to a few games a year (I'm going on Sunday), but my brothers and a bunch of my friends have seasons and I enjoy hearing their stories of a particular type of fan. How prevalent is the following type of dude at the stadium: Either a McGahee or a Lynch jersey chinstrap beard smokes cigarettes (probably menthols) early 20's rolls up in a crew of similar dudes and blasts R&B out of an SUV funnels beers maybe pukes talks s*** to opposing fans and willing to fight, but couldn't tell you anything about the Bills pre-Bledsoe Folks, are Bills tickets too cheap? These Buffalo lifers who went to ECC for a semester before retiring the books for good and work at a hardware store in Lancaster, while living with their parents and crashing high school parties on the weekends should not be able to afford season tickets in an NFL city. If the Bills are going to stay here, we have to show that we can sell out even if tickets aren't by far the cheapest in the league. Side note: My boys were forced to park next to a crew like this at the Miami game and they immediately pulled back out of the parking lot and told the guy to park them somewhere else and he said they couldn't do that. Then my brother said, look at these d-bags, we're not parking next to them for the next four hours and the attendant looked at them and said, OK you may have a point and moved them.
  9. *Not true, Bruce Gradkowski is significantly better than JP. I'll give ya JP over Russell though for certain.
  10. Dude, you don't say that you like another team's fans more than the team you're currently playing on, whether you think it or not. He acts like he's a major leaguer who has to stick it out in the minors for a year before a big league club calls him back up (which I guess is kind of the case)- but still, you have to show respect for the people that ultimately pay your salary- THE FANS! F** TO
  11. Does anyone on here really think that Jonathan Paul is going to become a successful NFL starting quarterback on the Oakland Raiders? And I got pulverized on here for being optimistic about the Bills' chances going into the season...
  12. Really? So the new people who come in won't be able to watch game tape of Brohm's three starts? Edwards is done, it's over. Fitzpatrick is a career backup and will be our backup next season as well, so deal with it people. There's really no reason to start either of them unless you think they're going to make the playoffs. Why on God's green earth wouldn't you start Brohm, you have absolutely nothing to lose. Perry Fewell's job? Ralph Wilson should say, listen you have done a good job, we'll consider you, but we have to do what's best for the franchise and these next three games aren't about winning and losing but evaluating our young talent. Stevie Johnson and James Hardy should get reps, they finally got Nic Harris some reps yesterday. We have ruled out the possibility of either Edwards or Fitzpatrick being a franchise QB so that's a start. Why not see if we can't do the same with Brohm? Hell, what if he's good!?!
  13. This seems to be the consensus on here, but call me crazy- I think the Bills' blues are the worst jerseys in the league and I kind of like the whites. Oh well.
  14. Of course Bell is on IR, why wouldn't he be? Boy the Bills have really been bitten by that injury bug the last three years. Such a bad coincidence. Nothing to do with strength and conditioning whatsoever.
  15. Went there in 2003 and last year- they're the best fans in the league (haven't been to Lambeau). Do not go to the strip club downtown (I forgot what it's called). Do go to Arthur Bryant's. You'll have a lot of fun.
  16. I didn't know this was an option. How can I put you on ignore?
  17. Who the f*** is 25?
  18. Aren't they going to have to interview a black guy as per the NFL anti-discrimination rules or whatever? I'm guessing it would be the defensive coordinator for Minnesota, who I would certianly take over Gilbride or Haslett anyway. Or does that get voided if your current coach is black to begin with?
  19. I love how fans and the media only gauge a coach's prominence by how much talent they have relative to their success. It's not always that simple. You ever think that coaches are sometimes able to bring out the best in their players' talent? (chicken and the egg) Maybe we wouldn't be saying that the early 90's Bills had all this talent if Dick Jauron was their coach and they went 9-7 every year. If you're not down with Marv Levy, I got two words for ya.
  20. Let's see, who's gotten injured this year? Edwards Schouman Fine Nelson Butler Bell Scott Williams Kelsay Ellison Posluszny Mitchell Buggs McGee McKelvin Whitner Scott Byrd I'm sure I'm forgetting some... Folks, this is simply not normal. I was sitting next to some dope at the Bills Backers bar in Denver on Sunday and he's like, man we've had bad luck... getting bit by the injury bug again this year... This has been happening for five years; this is no longer a coincidence. We did not get injuries like in the early 90's, this is getting ridiculous.
  21. Let's take it a step further, you can't call yourself a Bills fan and diss Marv that harshly. The good he's done for this organization outweighs the bad 100 to 1. He's one of the coolest dudes ever. Do you have any idea the reverence that the early 90's players hold for him? They get choked up just talking about how much he meant/means to them. You my friend, are no Bills fan, go on a different website why don't ya. Better yet, go watch one of your Daddy's VHS casettes of Bills footage during the Marv Levy era from before you were born.
  22. There can't be anyone on here actually saying f*** you to Marv that actually went to a Bills game between 1986 and about 1996, can there be? If so, then f*** you.
  23. Does anyone really care about this year at this point? I sure don't. I'll be excited come March though as a new team begins to take shape.
