Dude every team keeps some players who are primarily special teamers. I think the complaint w/ April was that he kept a few too many. Wendling is our best special teams player, he deserves to be one of 53 guys to make the team.

Considering Donte Whitner, another backup safety, seems to get his own thread just about everyday, I figured I'd start one on John Wendling for a change. Hell of a year as a special teamer, huh? Named special teamer of the year for us and got a key INT vs. the Jets. I love him as our fifth safety. Plus, white man can jump.

I was a huge Losman supporter due to his arm, his scrambling ability and his toughness (side note: Losman could have ran for 500 yards a season if Jauron knew how to use him. Every time he took off, he got ten yards). I held out hope longer than just about anyone I knew until I finally pulled the plug on him. I remember the game distinctly: at Jacksonville toward the end of the 2007 season. I said, that's it, this is simply not happening, this guy sucks. As much as I doubt Edwards' ability to be the guy in Buffalo, I've still never had that defining moment where I ruled him out for good. Agree? Disagree?

Did anybody else hear the Jim Rome interview with Romanowski last week? The man is literally insane. I mean he needs to have psychiatric evaluations. Once again, great interview though. Those on here who diss Rome clearly don't understand the art of interviewing.

This is a preposterous post. You are exaggerating the need for OL relative to the rest of the needs on the team. IF Wood is ready, which sounds unlikely, you got high draft pick rookie or free agent LT/Levitre/Hangartner/Wood/Butler, which is a good, young offensive line- again, assuming they can stay healthy. Who the hell is going to start at WR opposite Evans? Who the hell is going to play LB? Do we need 3 starting LB's or 4? Do we need a NT? We need another pass rushing specialist. Who in the name of God is going to start at QB? Not to mention, you act as if Wood and Levitre haven't earned a starting spot for themselves and a late round rookie would be worthy of starting over one of them?!? One thing people fail to acknowledge on here is that when Butler has been healthy, he's been GOOD! Yeah, let's start a 6th rounder over him too. Congratulations you have heard of a bunch of college offensive linemen.

In the early 90's I never missed an episode. I remember coming into school on Monday in middle school and everyone would be talking about SNL. It's really quite startling how drastically and sharply that show pooped the bed. I know everyone loves Will Ferrell, but it was the Will Ferrell era that lost me and I can honestly say I haven't seen an episode since about 1994. RIP Phil Hartman.
