  1. Adam, you may be a nice guy, but this is what I hate about this board sometimes. So Chris Hairston gets taken in the 4th round. All the size you'd ever want. Steps in as a rookie and performs very, very admirably at both tackle positions, yet you in your infinite wisdom have already decided that he's "not good enough." AHHHHHHH!
  2. I'm not as down on Fitz as you, but I am as high on the OL as you. I'm giving him a one year reprieve based on the cracked rib factor. Have fun on here though because people like to disregard facts. The Buffalo Bills allowed the least sacks in the NFL, were 4th in YPC and 1st on YPC on 1st down. Yet literally more than half the people on here will tell you straight up that our OL downright sucks.
  3. I thought he was pretty good through the first seven games this year, when he was named AFC offensive player of the month for September. How quickly people forget how he looked against the Chiefs, Raiders, Patriots and the Redskins. That being said, I agree with the original poster that relative to the rest of the league our offensive line is way better than our QB. I think we have a top ten OL right now with everyone healthy and MAYBE a top 20 starting QB.
  4. PRECISELY. I know we need something to talk about, but I gotta be honest, the guys on here that lay out the entire draft, like who they think the Bills are gonna take in the 7th round, are a little loony if you ask me. And then there are the "HA! LOL! Thank you Carolina for taking Cam Newton! ROTFLMAO! What a bunch of idiots! What a bunch of freaks!" people. Those are my favorite. Just take it in stride. Unless of course, they take a safety in the first round that they could've gotten in the third round. Then you have legitimate reason to vent.
  5. HA! Are you serious? For a seasoned vet like yourself, I'm surprised you would say that. Vick got/gets SLAMMED on here whenever his name comes up. Not to mention, one of these men did 2 years in the state pen-ton, the other one got off pretty much scott free.
  6. Maddog69 finds something juvenile? Got it.
  7. Post of the year! The Lee Evans effect!
  8. Take em to Rich Stadium on a September day (while they're still mathematically alive) and get there at 8 AM. If the Bills win, they'll be lifers.
  9. Dude don't worry about it. When I was 8 I was absolutely obsessed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of their orange uniforms. Once I became of age, I realized that you that you root for a team because of what they represent- in my case, my hometown. Your son has a ways to go before he ultimately settles on his team. I absolutely rooted for the Bucs to beat the Bills back when I was that age. Now, there's only one team that means anything to me at all- the Bills.
  10. I umpired Gordie and Danny at Lou Gehrig for years. Yes, the family still lives in Amherst.
  11. Does Detroit get to include Windsor? Does Seattle get to include Southern British Columbia? Green Bay is always looked at as the smallest market meaning they don't even get to include Milwaukee. I will say that we draw quite a bit from Southern Ontario, but every team is regional to some extent. All of Kansas is Chiefs country and they play in Missouri. Let's call a spade a spade: Buffalo is still a small market team.
  12. BuffaloWest, come on dude. Darryl Talley has been on the Wall for a decade. And the use of the word "retard" doesn't speak well for you whatsoever.
  13. Hey, let's at least get the spelling right, OK?
  14. They better re-sign him. I don't think that any of his silly endzone antics have ever changed my perception of him. He's an immature kid with a good heart. I think he may even be starting to mature. Maybe he can find it in his heart to re-sign with our pathetic franchise.
  15. I disagree. I think we should get all these guys. If I could have one guy on this entire list, it would be Kraig Urbik. He must be re-signed pronto.
  16. Agreed 100% It is such BS that Michelle Obama says kids should eat healthier. We should continue to allow our kids to be the fattest in the world. That is what our founding fathers had in mind when they talked about freedom. Why can't we get back to more reasonable first lady initiatives like Nancy Reagan's war on drugs? That worked really well.
  17. I want Alshon Jeffery at 10. Is that a bad pick?
  18. Sofia Vergara, Miranda Kerr, I didn't think about going the super-duper model route. I have to take issue with your inclusion of Katy Perry though. Obviously she is hot, but in most pictures, she's literally not even pretty. Google pictures of her without makeup and from high school. That being said, obviously she has other things going for her.
  19. My five: Kate Upton Zooey Deschanel Mila Kunis Keeley Hazel Vanessa Hudgens Honorable mention: Melissa Theriault
  20. Read the Buffalo News article from this morning. Kelsay lined up as a 4-3 end 90% of the plays he played last year.
  21. What in the world is the deal with your quote? What makes you think Justin Blackmon will be there at 10? And if he is, you would be upset with that??? I for one would love for them to get Jeffery, let alone Blackmon!
  22. Sheppard and A Will are 100% slam dunk starters going into next season. BTW, ya know what would be awesome? If they went to a 4-3, somehow Troup miraculously becomes good and they move Williams to DE and lined up with Dareus and Troup in the middle. That would be an intimidating front four. Or even lined up with those three in a 3-man front.
  23. No offense, but I guarantee you Ellison could cover your dead Grandmother. He'd just have to stand there. And if the ball came her way, how could she even catch it? I can't believe the disdain this board has for Keith Ellison. Maybe he couldn't cover elite tight ends all the time, but surely he can cover deceased elderly women.
  24. First of all, I just wanted to thank all of you for helping get this thread to a third page. To wake up and find this still on the board brought me nothing but joy. That being said, don't be surprised if you see the Bills bring in Ellison for a workout sooner than later. They believe that with an entire year to heal and train, that he could come back stronger than ever and become at least the force he was back in '08-'09, if not even better. You heard it here.
