Agreed and I've watched them all. He was in on Tannehill a few times when he didn't get a sack, including Robey's pick 6. Also that tackle he makes on the RB for a loss is pretty sick. What a game he had. I cannot wait to watch him and Dareus again on Sunday. -

I live in Denver and I root for the Patriots, Jets and Dolphins when they play the Broncos. I loathe the Broncos more than the Patriots multiplied by the Red Sox. -
Wow. One thing I can tell you is that the documentary is half about the injuries themselves (which, obviously, you totally understand already) and half about the league's efforts to cover up that knowledge from being made accessible to the players/former players. As far as the injuries, yes, we knew they existed to some extent, but it's more about how prevalent they may actually be. There are startling revelations about the cover up efforts in the film, but again, I wouldn't bother watching it because you already know everything. To those who haven't seen it but don't already know everything, I would strongly recommend it, it's an excellent documentary. P.S. Why don't you read some of the top comments in the very article you linked, including the first one that makes mention of the fact that 45 of the 46 brains studied by the doctor that THE NFL HIRED to examine former players' brains were found to have CTE. I know you guys don't like "facts" and "numbers," but still, that's pretty compelling, no?

It's this simple. There need be no more posts debating how the schedule works.

Wait- what the? A smart poster? Welcome to the small and exclusive club. Agreed at the time. Glad it worked out the way it did. Are you really criticizing Hackett because Frank Summers, our starting FB who has played in every game this season, got his FIRST TWO CARRIES OF THE YEAR today? And the first one he ran for like 15 yards?? Yes, I agree that the odds weren't great of it happening again on the second play but geez man, give the guy a freaking break. The problem with posters on this board is that they don't really watch, analyze and scrutinize other teams and realize that not every team calls every single play the way YOU'D call it every single game, all season long. When it has come to criticizing your OC over a first down handoff, it may be time to look in the mirror and ask yourself a few questions.

Carpenter had been kicking them all through the end zone. I'm assuming the call was to do it again and he just came up a little short. I would've been pissed if they did the squib kick and gave them the ball at the 30. What did you think Crossman should've called there?
-
Uhh maybe because we were trying to score points. The "3rd string quarterback" thing means nothing. He's playing at every bit the level that Manuel was playing. If they run it up the middle three straight times and Miami stops the clock and scores, you'd have more people on here complaining about them being too conservative. I like the aggressiveness. In fact, I thought they should've gone for it from (what was it, the 2?) and I think he would have had he not been burned by it last week.

I thought Dareus was our best player today. I like Woods but I'm not sure what he did that impressed you so much today. Calling Marrone a "horror show" is a bit harsh, no? I just don't understand why you pick people (Gilmore and Marrone) and just ride them so incredibly unobjectively (not a word apparently). No, he doesn't look lost. I like him a lot. Other coaches would've found ways to lose that game. Ron Rivera is a worse coach than Doug Marrone. I am all about the Dead man (went to Dark Star in Boulder last night) but I just don't know what game you are watching most of the time.

I would say they're pretty close. I wouldn't drink either of them. I suppose if I was at a party and all they had was a Bid Light keg, I'd drink it. If I was at a party and all they had was wine coolers, I don't think I would stick around. Although that sounds like a gathering of 17 year old girls, in which case... never mind. -

Agreed. I'll never understand why people invest so much time and energy to research prospective players when they have no control over whether or not the Bills will actually draft them. Like, OK, you really like this one tight end out of TCU or something as a value pick in the 4th round. Well, the chances of the Bills drafting him are 1 out of 32. So 31 out of 32 times you're going to think the Bills whiffed on some guy, who has no better chance of succeeding at the next level than any other mid round tight end. Once you realize that it's a complete crap shoot and just let the experts make their mocks, you'll have so much extra time on your hands. Like these people that put their entire 7 round draft wishes on their signature. Guess what? They're not going to take more than maybe 1 of your guys and the guys you wanted them to take in rounds 4-7 are out of the league now just like the guys the Bills drafted rounds 4-7. But you can never have that time back. -

The thing about this is that two years ago, someone would have undoubtedly said, "what you have a problem with breast cancer awareness? My aunt had breast cancer. Why don't you go crawl under a rock and die somewhere." But by now, it is SOOOOOOO played out that I think your sentiment is the popular one. I can't freaking stand it anymore and I think most people would agree with us. OK here's the first 2 of my own, ready? 1. Jim Kelly should NOT have been a first ballot HOF'er. He should've been a second or maybe third. Thurman Thomas SHOULD have been a first ballot hall of famer (he was a second). 2. It was a freaking lateral. It was thrown 100% completely parallel. It was called right on the field and they certainly made the right call by upholding it. The only thing I'd concede is that if they had ruled it a forward pass on the field, they probably would've/should've upheld that as well, just because it was so close. But anyone who thinks they should have reversed the call, doesn't understand the rule and is simply not being objective. Great thread by the way. Dude, no he wouldn't have. -

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Dude, I hope you realize I was not agreeing with the poster who said that Kenneth Davis > Thurman Thomas!?!?! And no, I think that Andre Reed was definitely a greater all-time receiver than Eric Moulds. The numbers actually aren't that far off and, without looking, I'm guessing that Moulds had better single seasons than Reed. HOWEVER, Andre Reed was an incredible impact playoff performer throughout his career. And more importantly, numbers don't tell the whole story. Andre Reed was simply considered a greater receiver relative to other WR's in the league during his prime. All that being said, although I think he is on the cusp of being a HOF'er, I like my Hall of Fame to include great players only; not very good players. I don't like the fact that Bert Blyleven and Rich Gossage are in the baseball Hall of Fame and I don't like the fact that Art Monk is in the football Hall of Fame. Again, Reed is borderline but I don't think he's quite a Hall of Famer. And when you add all that to the fact the Bills already have FIVE players/coaches from that squad in the Hall and they don't have a ring, I just don't see them making room for him. That was pretty sharp, eh? -

The apostrophe in "fans" should come after the "s" because you are referring to the asses of a collective group as opposed to an individual. Agreed. For the most part, yeah, I'd agree with that. You lost me there, pal. -
The Dolphins are not better than the Bills

??? I don't know that I've ever seen a team like this year's Broncos in my 28 years of watching pro football- save for the 2007 Patriots. And I'm not sure I've seen a team as bad as this year's Jacksonville Jaguars in quite a while either. -

I would venture to say that Cruz and Nicks are one of the top 5 WR duos in all of football. Where are you getting "they have no receivers?" -
Not me. When I was a kid in the 1980's, my favorite teams were the Buccaneers and the Canucks. Because they had the weirdest uniforms, they sucked and no one else liked them. I was obviously a Bills and Sabres fan too, but those were my very favorite teams until I was a teenager and realized that your team represents your home town and that it was about more than just the uniform. But to this day, Trevor Linden was/is my favorite hockey player ever and I have an incredibly old school framed poster of his hanging in my office.
