  1. The IN thing just officially jumped the shark. Congratulations.
  2. Bill from NYC started a thread right before the draft specifically about his negative vibes about Sammy Watkins. The same negative vibes he had/has about Stephon Gilmore and CJ Spiller. Who doesn't have bad vibes about EJ Manuel.
  3. You have fully embodied your avatar on that one. Well done.
  4. I'm still skeptical. Bill from NYC has bad vibes about him.
  5. Problem Child is an underrated film.
  6. I love the fact that the title of this thread is actually grammatically correct. Very refreshing.
  7. I'm pretty sure that when you don't realize a cornerback is on the field, he is having a good game.
  8. We weren't any better or worse with Byrd in last year. Schwartz could very well improve our defense- at least he should against the run and if Darues gets suspended it'll be for a game or two at most. Yes the Kiko thing sucks, no doubt about it.
  9. This is such crap. I'm so sick of refuting this argument.
  10. This is great stuff.
  11. I suppose we all look the same to you Costanza.
  12. I'm not even a soccer fan but come on man. I don't understand how golf is so popular, you don't use your feet. Not to mention, you can have a cigarette in your mouth while you're playing and be just as good. Baseball doesn't seem like much of a sport to me. You can be fat and out of shape and be a great hitter or pitcher.
  13. From what I understand, Keith Olbermann is one of those liberals so I'm going to write that he's an idiot even though I've never really heard anything he's said.
  14. Funny I was just talking to some dudes last night and I said the best fan bases in the league are Green Bay, Kansas City, Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh and those are the exact top five of this ranking.
  15. I'll go post-glory years because those guys have all been analyzed to death (eg. is Darryl Talley talked about so much for being underrated that he became overrated, etc.) We have had a few pretty damn good linebackers over the years that were pretty unsung including Marvcus Patton, Damien Covington (RIP) and Mario Haggan to name a few. Jon Holocek was even pretty damn good for a minute. And here's another two for ya- there was a time when Terrence McGee and Roscoe Parrish were so good at returning kicks and punts respectively and no one ever talks about that. I would venture to say that they may be two of the top 20 return men in NFL history. I remember back in '08ish when every time Roscoe fielded a punt he had a chance to break it.
  16. Yeah you could be right. I didn't even look at numbers, I was just thinking he was kind of there with AJ Green in that second tier of wideouts.
  17. Yeah obviously Ryan is off. I'm thinking Gordon might have been blacklisted because of the drugs. If he is on there then the only possible guy out of my 20 that would not make it is Russell Wilson. I'm not saying I agree with the list but trust me, Lynch is going to be on there. There is no way that Frank Gore, Eddie Lacy and Reggie Bush made it and Lynch doesn't. No freaking way. I guess I intended for this thread to be more about who you think the 20 remaining players are as opposed to who you think the top 20 best players actually are. And as far as Wilson, I just can't imagine that Kaepernick is on there and Wilson isn't.
  18. I was super bored and just put it together. So I have 5 that I thought were possibilities but must be off the list altogether because the other 20 are glaringly obvious. Those 5 are Matt Ryan, Jairus Byrd, Josh Gordon, RG3 and Arian Foster. So the remaining 20 are obviously: Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Adrian Peterson, Sherman, Calvin Johnson, Watt, AJ Green, Jamaal Charles, Jimmy Graham, Lesean McCoy, Julio Jones, Joe Thomas, Robert Quinn, Marshawn Lynch, Earl Thomas, Kuechly, Robert Mathis and Russell Wilson. Right? That has to be it. Although how do you leave off Josh Gordon? He is easily the 2nd best WR in the game. I don't know. Good night.
  19. I truly believe that the Bills have a top 5-10 roster in the NFL excluding the QB position. It's all on EJ. I know it's redundant to say on this board but it really cannot be overstated. I mean geez, we have 4 top 100 players as voted on by other NFL players on our defense, a top linebacking unit according to one site and a top flight RB group according to anyone and everyone. I believe very strongly that our DB's are gonna be great, we have freaking Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Mike Williams as our 1-2-3 and a young offensive line with a s***load of upside.
  20. Apparently you have hippies confused with hipsters.
  21. I hope I'm not the only one who got a good laugh out of this post. Dan Dierdorf's suggestion that Drew Brees was putting up Star Wars numbers is my second favorite statement by an announcer after Steve Tasker's assertion that watching Fred Jackson is like watching someone pour a glass of water.
  22. 3 picks over 6 games equates to 8 in a full season, which would be outstanding for any QB in the league. Both our QB's need to work on not getting sacked as much. It was my biggest issue with EJ last year- being too tentative and not understanding that at the NFL level, players are not going to be streaking down the sideline wide open like at Florida State.
  23. Thad Lewis is an above average NFL backup quarterback. No doubt about it. I think with this roster we could go 7-9, 8-8 with him starting 16 games. The idea is that we could be better than that if Manuel takes a step forward. We could be worse though. I guess we'll see. Not sure what else needs to be said on the topic.
