  1. I question your ability to predict the spread as I think it'll actually be closer to a pick em by kickoff but I would never question your ability to win. Also try bovada. I was up at the end of the year and I had a check in the mail less than a week later. Well done sir.
  2. As far as games I attended, it's impossible not to go with the oilers comeback, I mean come on. There were several gems from the 1990 regular season that are up there too- people often bring up the broncos comeback game but an incredibly underrated game in bills history was the following week (I believe) when they pulled off another 4th quarter comeback against the LA raiders on sunday night football. Was pretty spoiled to have had season tickets from 87-95 as a kid, there are endless moments to recall. I'd have to do like a top 25 list to do it justice.
  3. When you find yourself reading some pimply 24 year old kid who isn't even a Bills fan's game by game predictions of the Bills' schedule in April before the draft, training camp, etc., you have reached the end of the internet and it's time to close your computer and pick up a good book. Or watch some playoff hockey. The again, who am I, I just wasted my time commenting on it. I question how compulsive your gambling habit really is. That is a wildly large spread for a road favorite, especially in week 1. As of now, I'm guessing it would be Colts -2 but of course, so much will change by September.
  4. Oh jesus. I'll catch up with you guys again after the draft.
  5. Isn't that kind of exactly what the Bills are doing right now?
  6. Kind of just like a jerk post. Whether Ike Taylor was a good NFL CB or not (I haven't broken down all his game film as you apparently have), wouldn't he still be able to say how good guys he covered were? I would think even if he sucked, he would still be capable of having an opinion as to how difficult guys were to cover and that playing as long as he did, yes that opinion does mean something.
  7. Are people really still doing the IN thing? It might be one of the lamest things on planet earth. Right there with "keep calm" shirts and people who think it's funny to be overly/ironically/mockingly patriotic on the 4th of July.
  8. Sad day in football uniform history. The Browns uniforms were some of the best in sports. Just sucks man. And to think a team would throw all that tradition out the window just to generate new jersey sales. I'm a bit of an old curmudgeon when it comes to uniforms and I like classic looks but even I can understand when some teams make a change- the Pats, the Bucs (the 90's update- the new ones are a disgrace)- but I just don't get this one at all. Oh well. At least the Bills have great uniforms.
  9. Been to arrowhead twice. It's the best. For my money best tailgaters, fans and gameday experience in the NFL. And I've been to lambeau.
  10. That's amazing. How have I not seen this until now?
  11. Wow. There are people on this very thread who are telling us that Winston isn't worthy of the #1 pick and opining about his pro prospects but are also adamant in other threads that I'm not allowed to have an opinion on another former fsu qb because he's 'only' played in 14 games. Gotta love it. He could be good, he could not be good. Who knows. Seems like the best qb in the draft. Sure he's worth the #1 pick.
  12. Absolutely no way TJ Graham gets on the wall of fame.
  13. In all sincerity, where did you get that Jeff Wright jersey? I've been trying to score an early 90's more obscure player jersey forever and they're impossible to find. I bought a Leonard Smith jersey off ebay a few years back but the collar is wrong somehow. EDIT: figured you got it back then. That is a keeper my friend.
  14. Fred Jackson is absolutely, 100%, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a wall of famer. I think some of you may be overestimating the achievement of getting on the wall of fame. I wish it was a more exclusive club but there are already some borderline guys up there. All the aforementioned players will eventually get up. So too should Ruben Brown, Eric Moulds, Cookie Gilchrist, Lou Saban, Cornelius Bennett and probably Ernie Warlick. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if Phil Hansen is on the wall of fame then so too should every guy that's been mentioned. It was clearly Ralph's call in the past and he clearly picked guys that he liked personally. I think that with his passing, you will see Saban get up soon.
  15. Well for your sake I hope you are pleased by EJ's interview on NFL network tonight.
  16. The Browns uniforms are some of the very best in all of sports. If you don't like plain then I'm assuming you have an issue with a lot of the best uniforms in the NFL.
  17. Starting tomorrow we can throw all this excuse making out the window and see what each player can do on the field. Personally, I would be most excited if Taylor won the job over Meh and Boyuel.
  18. I think if the Bills had a legitimate QB they would be THE favorite to win the Super Bowl. I really believe they have as good a roster as anyone in the NFL sans the QB position. I am also really drinking the 'we could get Philip Rivers' kool aid. At least next year. I think with their current QB situation they are exactly what you and this article says- fringe playoff team, around the 12th best team in the league.
  19. Just as soon as the EJ excuse making begins I would think.
  20. My response would be similar to when Jerry's girlfriend asks him, "what's the deal with your friend George?" And Jerry casually replies, "no deal."
  21. I'm surprised you've heard of him.
  22. Agreed. Whoops. Yes the NFL likes attention. They loved the drafting of Michael Sam. That does not mean that individual teams want unnecessary attention like a marginal NFL talent being the focus of their offseason because he is a gay man. So the NFL liking the attention and individual teams not wanting the attention are not mutually exclusive concepts. Get it?
  23. Wow. So you actually think his draft stock went up due to his sexuality? Interesting, you are the first person I've ever heard say that ever. Presumably because teams were eager to bring the controversy and media attention that he would inevitably bring into their locker room?
