  1. Bad teams can find all sorts of ways to lose, this team is more then bad...horrid is more like it. When Ralph, when?
  2. 18 yards per carry avg for Jones, oh yea the defense against the run is great, good thing the Bills drafted a puny DE with that #1 pick
  3. I just don't get what Ralph Wilson see's on the field that keeps him from firing Jauron... Oh wait, he is looking at all the ticket sales he has this year and ignores the how the team does.
  4. I'd like to see AVP take that hitch pass and shove it, almost another INT. Jeez, why is that play still in the playbook as it's the same play Edwards threw that pick 6 for against the Saints.
  5. Jauron's excuse list... Injuries got me, starting QB got hurt TO had something in his eye I fired Turk Schonert I retooled the offensive line and it will take years to rebuild, well maybe until the last year of my contract and then I'll go 7-9.
  6. About darn time, even if it took Parish to flub off in special teams, I think he also stinks as a WR
  7. What makes you think the current staff of bozo's would draft anyone worth a damn?
  8. Why don't you guys asking for new QB's get the fact that anyone the Bills bring in will have a few good games and then suffer the same fate as JP , Trent Edwards, Drew Bledsoe and all the rest. A crappy O line makes for a crappy team and crappy QB play. The Bills had one of the top OT's in the NFL and traded him away and then didn't replace him, stupidity reigns in Buffalo. The FO stinks, the head coach stinks, the schemes this team runs stink. The Tampax 2 and the Mike Martz offense need to be scrapped forever. The entire franchise needs a complete overhaul in most fans eyes, the owner doesn't think that way because the team sold enough season tickets for this year.
  9. Doubtful, as season ticket holders are currently suffering from buyers remorse. The front office fooled so many this year with the TO move and EVERYONE suddenly wanted tickets. Wilson would have to trade for Payton Manning or Tom Brady to fool everyone again next year. The offensive coordinator came out and stated the team lacked a a big time threat opposite Lee Evans, and it did. But our lovable moronic head coach then dismantled the O line and the front office traded away the only pro bowl lineman, thereby destroying the tackle position. You would think that when you trade away a top player that the team would have looked to the draft to replace Peters. Every team in the top 6 wanted to trade outta their spots, but the Bills didn't want to replace Jason Peters with another high priced player. Jason Peters must go home every day and thank the lord he is outta the hell hole that is the current Bills team.
  10. I think Marv realized the mistake he had made and decided to retire again. Jauron was never meant to be a head coach, dunno how many angel wings the guy must have to stay as one for so long.
  11. I think the 3 guys the Bills now have in the middle will actually be able to block Jenkins this time, last season was a joke and the reason the Bills dumped those three useless blobs of flab. The major problem with this current line is the tackles, they get crushed and knocked around by third string DE's. The tackles the Bills are currently using wouldn't make any other NFL teams roster, they might get a shot in the UFL....maybe.
  12. That statement is just silly, any QB that plays for the Bills this year would be running for his life and playing the same way Edwards is. The Bills have the worst offensive line in the NFL, if you doubt that, they have a player from Green Bays practice squad starting at tackle, and Green Bays O line is also horrid. C Palmer, Mannings might have a good game or two, but after they get hit after every passing play and are knocked around like Edwards has been this year, they will start to play just like he is. An example is the NY Giants in the super bowl against Tom Brady, he clearly didn't have time to throw and he played poorly. Now imagine the NY Giants playing Buffalo every week... because the Bills offensive line is so bad they make every team they face look like they are playing the 85 bears defense. The team that played against NE opening week is not the same team you will see fielded against the Jets on Sunday, both the defense and offense are riddled with injuries. The two OT's that the Bills have had playing for them the last three weeks wouldn't even make any other teams roster.
  13. I don't believe that for a second, great GM's make great systems. Bill Polian built a great team in Buffalo and again at Indianapolis. Bill Walsh built the modern day west coast offense at San Francisco, Steve Young had some horrid seasons at Tampa Bay before he went to the 49ers, then took them to the playoffs and super bowl. I've seen so many really good young QB's go to teams where the coaching stinks and they just fade into obscurity. Great teams usually need really good players, coaches and a GM to put the talent on the field. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen one QB that can overcome a bad team or bad coaching.
  14. 1-15 just might be enough to wake up the old man to make a move, I'm hoping it happens at the by week though.
  15. I agree that Jauron NEEDS to be fired, I'll celebrate when he does get the axe. My point was that Bobby April is sucking big time this year and his special teams stink, and cost them the game against the Patriots and Browns.
  16. In my pre-season prediction I had Edwards getting knocked out for the season by this game, not that I want him to be. It is just the the offensive line is so horrid I'm really surprised he has lasted this long. I suppose he got a ton of running for his life while at Stanford though. I realize that all QB's value their jobs and are worried someone will take their place, like Brady did with Bledsoe. This offense is so bad, If I were him I'd fake an injury!! OH YEA OUCH, MY BACK HURTS. Seriously, he is just hurting himself by playing in the current podunk offense. The team played great against the Patriots for the first game, that team is mostly injured and gone. The current team is about as good as the Lions were last season, so if they win another game this season I'd be shocked. I count the days till Jauron gets the axe, 4 years of him is enough, he should have been fired last season after that Jet game. Ralph Wilson is grandfather scrooge and to cheap to fire him and still pay him is the only reason I figure he didn't get fired.
  17. Not to burst your bubble but some NFL analysts have stated that no assistant coach deserves to be promoted as interim, and I agree with them. Bobby April and his special Olympic teams have caused two loses so far, so how does this man show that he deserves a promotion? "IF" Ralph Wilson does in fact fire Jauron this season, it would most likely be at the bye week or at the end of the season. Wilson will need to get a big name to replace Jauron to sell season tickets next year as most fans are suffering from buyers remorse this season. Marty Schottenheimer, currently retired gets my vote after all he is only 66, almost young compared to, 78 for Ted Marchibroda, Marv Levy 84, Dick Vermeil at 72.
  18. WTH good is it if the Bills pick in the top 5 and STILL pick bums who get paid and then stink up the field!!!!
  19. My take is its the current offensive scheme the Bills run lacks a true identity. Since the Ted Marchibroda and Jim kelly years of the 90's the Bills playbook just hasn't gotten it done. Marchibroda was hired away to be a head coach elsewhere and once Kelly left the Bills that offense left with him as he called his own plays. A few years ago Steve Fairchild was brought in from St Louis to build a high powered offense, the Mike Martz / Rams offense that worked so well for the "greatest show on turf". It's kind of strange that Martz has been fired everywhere he has coached the last 8 years and his offensive scheme seems to get the QB killed more often then not. So it seems to me that the Bills playbook has been this hodgepoge of different plays and formations that allow the latest offensive coordinator to pull out dozens of old plays that might work or might not work. It's like they just keep trying different things throughout the game, Instead of focusing on a few formations and plays they know will work. I'm hoping that Ralph Wilson will hire an offensive minded head coach like Jon Gruden, Mike Shanahan or Mike Holmgren. Someone who will install an offense that actually works, west coast or not. The guy I really think has done a terrific job at Baltimore is Cam Cameron, the team can throw or power run depending on what they want to do that day. Also he has done a great job with the development of Joe Flacco.
  20. I hate to say it, but Alex Van Pelt looks to be no better then Turk Schonert right now. You call it, the team is facing playing in high winds and is playing against the worst team in the NFL against the run, do you run or pass? The Bills offense and Trent Edwards looked really good against the Patriots when everyone was healthy and they had weeks to prepare, really good play calling and game plan. What has happened since? If I'm Jauron I'd make a call to Jon Runyan or Levi Jones, or both. They clearly need some veteran leadership on that offensive line.
  21. If your a Bills fan and not upset at the Bills coaches for that loss to the Browns, then check your pulse... because your dead. My take is, Dick Jauron goes first. I know he will use the injuries did me in excuse... He alone is responsible for the horrid play on offense. 3 points against the Browns who are DEAD LAST in defense against the run and 10th against the pass, so the Bills try and throw all day in a harsh wind that only allows 2 receptions the entire day for Cleveland. Even with the injuries the Bills defense held the Browns to only 6 points, you would think that would be good enough. Most Bills fans agree that Jauron should have been gone after last season, so will Wilson be able to tolerate a 1-7 record at the bye week? Kinda sad that the Bills are looking like a rebuilding team this year with having the same head coach for four years. I thought Bronco's owner Pat Bowlen was rather crazy to fire 2 time super bowl winning Mike Shanahan, but Josh McDaniels currently has that team at 5-0 and has Kyle Orton playing really well. I'd add the Lions-Chiefs-Rams and Buc's, but they are rebuilding so I suppose they get a pass. The Skins will wait because they want Bill Cowher, the Cowboys will wait because they "might" make the playoffs, if they don't, you can expect Phillips to get fired. Seems unlikely they make the playoffs considering the Boys have the Eagles and Giants in their division.
  22. Trestman has bounced from QB coach to OC on several NFL teams, and now is up in Canada as a head coach, no offense but if the guy was really great he would still have a job in the NFL. The Bills need a big name and a proven commodity at this point, look at what Mike Nolan has done for Denver's defense,Cam Cameron has done for Baltimore's offense. Sure, I'd rather see Marty Schottenheimer, Mike Shanahan or Bill Cowher, but I highly doubt RW will pay the kind of money those coaches would require.
  23. Ralph Wilson is going to need to make a BIG splurge into the coaching ring to bring fans back next season. I highly doubt anyone they sign in the off season would change the fans outlook at this point, save maybe a trade for Payton Manning. The Bills have some great young talent on offense and can't seem to find a way to utilize them properly. The Bronco's managed to hire a bright young offensive genius head coach and he in turn hired Mike Nolan as his DC, no question that defense went from last to first in one year and is the reason the Bronco's are 5-0. The Bills need an offensive minded head coach, someone who is actually smart enough install a new offensive system that works and smart enough to hire the proper assistants, instead of promoting from within.
  24. ROFL at your avatar... put a fork in them Charlie Casserly gets my vote for GM / pres
  25. I read other posts about the Bills hiring Marty Schottenheimer-Jon Gruden- Bill Cowher- and others. I just don't see them helping this team this year. Although I like the Martyball Idea , I just have doubt's he will help this year as he will need to bring in a new OC and DC, and besides he might not want to un-retire. The one coach that could step in at the bye week and help this offense and Trent Edwards is Mike Shanahan. Edwards would be a perfect fit in a west coast passing offense. C'MON, the Browns completed TWO passes and won that game 6-3, this is the most inept offense I've witnessed in years, this offense need's some help asap!!!! Not for nothing, but wouldn't hiring Shanahan also save Ralph Wilson a bundle? The Bronco's still are paying Shanahan to sit at home and do nothing for the remainder of his contract. So should the Bills hire him and pay him 3 million a year, the Bronco's would then make up the difference of 4 million to make up the full 7 mill, or do I have that wrong?
