  1. He turned down an interview with the Bills, just like all the rest. Lets not forget that Gailey was like the 15th person on the list. They wanted somebody with previous NFL experience and had a winning record. Gailey did have an 18-14 record with the Cowboys. His record with the Bills 13-26. .342 Someone at OBD let it be known that the Bills would spend 10 million a year on new HC,and even interviewed Shanny,,and the chin because of that claim. But neither was hired and I seriously doubt either was offered that 10 million. It really is a darn shame that this idiotic FO will pay 100 million to a player and low ball the top coaches.
  2. So would I, but this owner didn't feel "comfortable" in hiring him back in 09 / 2010. Nix wanted to hire Martyball, Martyball desperately wanted the Bills HCing job. Ralph Wilson said no
  3. My only question, WTF is it going to take? The man has already shown unbelievable ineptitude in doing his job. Juan Castillo of the Eagles was fired for a 15th ranked defense, and as an ex O line coach while not having any DC experience has shown more ability then Wannstooge. I suppose being a friend of the HC has its merits
  4. We all know that Fitz is not a top "elite" QB and never will be, but what we found out in this game is he isn't a John Elway / Peyton Manning comeback type QB either, and probably never will be. This game Gailey called the game to Fitz's strengths and allowed him to hand off a lot and get into a rhythm, and just manage the game instead of forcing him to shoulder it. Then at the end Gailey reverted to his old ways and just kept calling pass plays, and wanted Fitz to shoulder it again. You guys can B word about Fitz all you want, for the most part IMHO its Gailey and his bad use of Fitz, along with his thinking of being totally dependent on a backup QB with a bad record to win games for him. Not only has Gailey embraced Fitz fully and placed his job in Fitz's hands. Hitched his wagon 100% to Fitz so to speak when he could have easily drafted a rookie QB at some point the last 3 years or brought in a different free agent QB. Oh wait, he did bring in Travaris Jackson only to keep him inactive every week. To me Fitz preformed well in this game, 225 yards 3 TD's one INT. the offense scored 34 points. Normally more then enough to win in the NFL. except when you have Dave Wannstooge running the defense. This year the defense was supposed to be much improved and help the team win, instead its worse then it has been the previous two years under Gailey. If that can even be believed. Yet this year the defense has more talent then when Edwards coached it
  5. I say keep wannstooge, that way Nix can fire both Gailey and his gawd awful DC.at the end of the year. Jeez, first George Edwards and now someone worse, hard to believe. Can gailey pick them or what...
  6. Naa let him stay, he won't ever get a job in the NFL after this year, and the Bills are assured of a better draft pick with him as DC
  7. No question this team should have drafted a rookie QB to develop the last 3 years, but didn't! This HC decided to invest his future in Fitz, and Fitz showed today he can manage the game. He just can't carry it at all. But the defense continues to be unbelievably bad. I suppose I'll stop calling for wannstooges head if he can keep losing the Bills games. That way at least they get a shot at a decent rookie QB this next draft
  8. kinda sucks that the O played well most of the game and was let down by the defense
  9. Man, what a difference it makes to have Fitz just hand off and manage the game instead of trying to force him to shoulder it. If Gailey keeps this up all year he might just keep his job, can't say the same about wannstooge with his last place D
  10. Gailey calling it so well, keep the RB's working....YEAH! so sweet TD SJ
  11. Gailey forgetting the run game again?
  12. 3rd and 14... can they really stop them?
  13. I was gonna complain about the 5 WR empty backfield set...until Fitz threw a fastball to D Jones for a TD
  14. keep those crickets quiet willyas, wanny is sleeping
  15. That is freaking sad... I didn't think anyone could field a worse defense against the run then Jauron and his Tampon 2, boy was I wrong. George Edwards set a franchise worst in the 50 year history for being bad against the run. So then I'm thinking we saw the worst defense.. wrong again. wannstooge has taken it to a whole new level of bad.... with a healthy Kyle Williams and 100 million dollar DE
  16. 260 yards rushing in the first half for the Titans
  17. Fitzy looked very Hasselbeck on that play
  18. Hasslebeck looked very fitzesque on that play
  19. another 25 yards for CJ2k, 9 rushes 139 yards....jeez
  20. GL with that thought. the only way the Titans fail is if they beat themselves
  21. Fitz trying to get Brad Smith killed
