Well, when Mayock states "And hopefully its an offensive lineman.” I take that as he is looking at the current Bills line and sees needs, just like I do. Otherwise he would have talked up another position. The entire point for this thread was to make argument for building an O line similar to the current 49ers O line. A line that can dominate in every aspect offensively, running in any fashion, any scheme, and giving whatever QB time in the pocket to throw. Thus allowing almost any QB the Bills have behind center to succeed. I tried to get you guys to see things from my perspective, and most of you would rather take Buddy's stance, thats fine.

I didn't ignore anything. I go by what my eyes actually see, and by logic. I'm done slamming Buddy Nix, and I'm so tired of beating that dead horse, I really am. Its carcass is so decrepit it looks like a thousand people have tread across it. I can only think you didn't read thru this thread or you would have seen my points in other posts about the decencies in the current line, and as to why it looked decent with Fitz at QB and in Gailey's offense. I'm not the only person on the planet that thinks this O line is no where near as good as Nix thinks it is. NFL Networks Mike Mayock on the subject: "NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock does not think West Virginia QB Geno Smith, who some regard as a top-10 pick, is a good fit for Buffalo because he has fared poorly in bad weather. Mayock thinks No. 8 is too high to take a QB. “Do you want Matt Barkley or Ryan Nassib or E.J. Manuel at 8?” Mayock asked. “That’s way too high for me. Buddy can be sitting there going, ‘Hey, I don’t care what round I get my quarterback in, I just need to get him.’ And I understand that. But for me I’d rather get a positional player at 8 that’s gonna help me immediately. And hopefully its an offensive lineman.” “I’m gonna get somebody that I can plug in to make our team better,” Mayock said. “Then I’m going to come back in. If I have to come back in and trade up and get to 26 to 32, I’ll do that.” http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130421/SPORTS/130429832/two-bills-drive-1004 Its not rocket science here, in fact its rather simple to see that the top 15 picks in this years draft are loaded with some very good to stellar O linemen. 3 top LT's one top RT, 2 top OG's. 6 excellent players and the bills pick 8th. What a great year to build that line.

I was pretty amped up over the Marcell Dareus pick who was graded as the best player in the draft that year by Mike Mayock & Co. It kinda stinks he hasn't lived up to the hype. But then I thought about who as coaching him and the other players around him. Two good DT's don't make a defense or a team. He should look so much better this year with better coaching. In the 2009 draft most every Bills fan in this forum was saying no to Maybin. 2006 was even worse with Whitner over Ngata

Buddy Nix and his lack of concern... At some point in the future I think most Bills fans are going to look back and state. Wow, what a complete and utter boob Buddy Nix was... I've already been saying that for the past three years. From his statements "we're not that far away", "I know I'm not the smartest guy in the room" to a bunch of media types. When free agency opened in 2010 he stated publicly he was "going to get some sleep" The result was FA RT Cornell Green at 2 mill per. That player was so bad he played in like 5 games, was benched and then quietly cut. Simply look at Nix letting Gailey put his faith in QB Trent Edwards, then cutting him after two games. Then giving big money to a career back up QB in Fitz. Meanwhile the past 3 years the Bills ignored the QB position in the draft. I honestly think Buddy Nix would fail to find a good QB even if the guy came up and have him a swift kick As I've already stated, I know Nix will not take an O lineman at #8. Kinda why I'm hoping Marrone has some say in things.

That success was very recent, like one or two years away from the playoffs. If a team has been to the playoffs recently they probably don't have as many great needs as say a team like the Buffalo Bills (13 years) who are constantly rebuilding. Those teams didn't need a complete overhaul of the roster because they had recently been in the playoffs. Just gonna go thru two examples again here, The Ravens had one bad year, 13-3 to 5-11 fired Brian Billick then back to 11-5 under Harbough, who saw all they needed was a decent QB. Their run first philosophy was retained by the president Ozzie Newsome / OC Cam Cameron who built a power run game to support that rookie QB. The Steelers had one bad year 11-5 super bowl win to 8-8 then Cowher retired and then back to 10-6 under Mike Tomlin. That was already Big Ben's fourth year and he had already developed under HC Bill Cowher and OC Ken Wisenhunt.. Under Tomlin, and new OC Bruce Arians went away from the run first offense and let Roethlisberger air it out more. You know Arians, the same guy who Tutored Andrew Luck last year and was the interim HC is now the HC in Arizona. The thing we both agree on is that the Bills are desperate for that proverbial franchise QB. "IF" he is in the draft I say take him at #8, like you do. The problem is, I don't trust this regime to draft a player that needs some development, and then develop him properly like Big Ben and Joe Flacco who weren't projected as franchise starters from day one like RG3 / Andrew Luck. This franchise has gotten it wrong so many times in the past I just don't see them suddenly getting it right with this weak draft class. Every QB in this class needs an extra amount of developing. I'd say more so then both Big Ben and Joe Flacco. I'm hearing some scouts say they wouldn't touch any QB in the first round this year, even if they were as desperate as the Buffalo Bills.

Remember the 3rd Round Last Year. This is why...
thewildrabbit replied to BILLS 4 EVER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Until this franchise gets a complete overhaul you can expect the very same mind numbing moves in the draft, in free agency, in hiring of coaches, scouts. The thing I can't forget is the look on Mike Mayock's face when the NFL network announced the Bills with the 3rd pick. He shuffled thu some papers, stated he had Graham graded as a 7th rounder and then they went to a commercial. "Mayock's take: "I had him going in the seventh round. He can fly, though." http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/t.j.-graham?id=2532850 After Graham was drafted Nix patted himself on the back and stated, see, we trade around in the draft all the time. Ohhh, they moved up a whole 2 spots to snag a 7th rounder in the 3rd. The legacy of Buddy Nix! -
Seriously, what good is it to draft a franchise QB and then they let him get the snot beaten out of him while trying to develop him.AKA Losman / Edwards Those teams you mention, were already pretty good previous to drafting that franchise QB. The Patriots had been to a super bowl under Bill Parcells with Drew Bledsoe and then Pete Carroll took over and still got them into the playoffs. The first thing Parcells usually does is build a strong O line. Remember Curtis Martin and that great running game the Patriots had back then. .The Ravens had one year under of being bad under Brian Billick 13-3 to 5-11 back up to 11-5 under John Harbough. The Ravens always had a strong running game to take the heat off the QB as they were usually a run first team. In another thread I pointed out that in 2009 Flacco's 2nd season the Ravens went up to New England for a Wildcard playoff game, and beat the Patriots 33-14. Do you recall Joe Flacco's stats that particular day? I will never forget that day! Flacco was 4 for 10 for 34 yards total!!! The Ravens won that playoff game by rushing Ray Rice & Willis McGahee 52 times for 234 yards and 4 TD's while controlling the clock and the game. Talk about a perfect way to develop a QB properly!! The Steelers were a run first team with Jerome Bettis at RB under HC Bill Cowher and went 15-1 in big bens first season in 2004 the Steelers had two first round picks on that line back then, and they ran to setuip the pass. Don't belive me? then look at the stats 358 attempts passing vs 618 attempts rushing. The NY Giants had been to the playoffs under previous HC Jim Fassel and already had a decent team when Tom Coughlin took over in 2004. Kinda why they were 6-10 his first year nad 11-5 his second. The 2004 Giants were a run first team with Tiki Barber at RB. They also had Kurt Warner at QB to help develop Manning. In 2005, Manning's first year as a starting QB they did have Chris Snee & David Diehl at OG's and a #1 pick at LT. Stats 294 attempts passing vs 469 attempts rushing. The Packers were a playoff team under previous HC Mike Sherman and also went to the playoffs under Mike MCCarthy with Brett Favre at QB in 2007, 13-3 .So Aaron Rodgers was drafted in 2005 and sat on the bench learning his craft behind legend QB Brett Favre. The WCO is like an elongated handoff, so the Packers did run a form of ball control thru passing. The 49ers under HC Mike Singletary drafted both OT Anthony Davis and OG Mike Iupta in the 1st round in 2010. When Jim Harbough took over he inherited a team with a broken #1 pick overall QB that no other team even wanted. He might have had a high QB rating, but his team didn't win many games with him at QB. Again, the 49ers are a dominate running team under Harbough. The stats 451 passing vs 498 rushing. Under Harbough the team would run to setup the pass and let Alex Smith manage the game. Suddenly Alex Smith was a different QB and the team won games 13-3 his first year. The Buffalo Bills are a completely different animal from all those winning teams. They have been losers for the last 13 years. Bad head coaches, bad schemes, bad talent evaluators, bad owner.and the entire franchise needs an overhaul. The ONLY way I see any QB having any kind of success on this team is for them to build a very powerful run first team. Trying to implement any kind of high powered passing offense with the current O line is going to be an effort in futility.
-
Yep, he would be my choice if the 3 top LT's are off the board at #8 If Buddy Nix is going to draft a QB at #8, it will be Matt Barkley
-
Look, Gailey also made Fitz look half way decent every year with a bunch of yards passing (3158 in 2010, 3932 in 2011, 3400 in 2012). It doesn't mean his offense was any good at 16-32 after 3 years, he never figured out how to win games. What amazes me is how good the Bills run game was and yet Gailey managed to under utilize it and had the broken backup QB try and emulate Tom Brady. Still, CJ Spiller finished the season with 1244 yards rushing and another 459 yards receiving. Usually when RB's get 100+ yards in a game usually their team wins, mostly because that team controls the clock with the running game. OTOH, In Gaileys spread offense the Bills would break off these big running plays to gain a lot of yards, but couldn't make a first down by running when they needed to. They couldn't get the push from the big men up front, so they couldn't control anything at any time when they really needed to. Ok, so how does Marrone's up tempo WCO differ from Gaileys spread? If by that you infer that he will run his offense out of a "closed formation" then the Bills are in real trouble this year. Because they couldn't run out of closed sets very well at all. If he runs it from a spread offense the how will it differ from Gailey's offense if the QB doesn't have time to throw deep, or have an actual deep threat target? Typically the good teams build the O line first thing, (Atlanta-Baltimore-San Fran-Houston) then they build the running game to support the QB and take the heat off of him. The Bills already possess two of the top RB's in the league in Spiller and Jackson. Now they need some road graders to open holes. Trust me on this guys, the current O line players are not gonna get it done as is.
-
Oh really? The O line in Chan Gaileys offense looked somewhat respectable for several reasons. First, was the fact that Fitz has an ability to release the ball and find the open receiver in usually under 1.5 to 3 seconds. To quote Osi Umenyiora, the NY Giants D linemen who stated prior to the 24-27 loss in 2011, it was almost impossible to get a sack on Fitz because of his getting rid of the ball so quickly. What the Giants D line would do is try and get pressure on him, get their hands up and hope to force a turnover with just pressure. Which they did late in the game. Second, the Bills ran a "spread offense" which actually spreads out the players on the line of scrimmage from sideline to sideline. The Bills were primarily a passing offense out of the spread, shotgun set, and when they did run the ball the RB's had more opportunities to make a big gain because of that spread out LoS. One broken tackle usually meant a big gainer. As one GM put it, the Bills were tough to play, but easy to beat. All the opposing defense had to do was stack the box with 7-8 defenders to stop the run, and play tight coverages close up and force Fitz to throw deep, which Fitz really couldn't do well. The main reason for this was the Bills lack of a true deep threat along with Fitz's inability to throw deep accurately. Despite Fitz's ability to get rid of the ball quickly he still took a bunch of hits every game after the ball was out. Plus the fact that the Bills couldn't make a 3rd and short running the ball in a closed set, even if their lives depended on it. A top WR like Patterson / Austin isn't going to change the deficiencies in the O line. Look what happened to the Bills when they brought in TO, they simply didn't have the time to throw deep most plays. Its my take that you guys will see just how bad that O line really is this upcoming season with Kolb / Jackson, or worse a rookie at QB. All I can do is pray that Doug Marrone (who used be an NFL O linemen) evaluates his line and asks Brandon / Nix to let him build it properly. So that his team has an actual chance to compete this season, and in the future. While I agree that QB for the Buffalo Bills is the highest priority, I just don't see an impact franchise starter in this years draft. Just think back to how great everyone said Jimmy Clausen was going to be. I'd rather the Bills take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rounds this year.
-
Jeez, why do I waste my time with posts if you guys refuse to read them. The Bills also had an all pro player at LT in Jason Peters, and still stunk it up. All this proves is one top O lineman is not enough, and never will be. But, one top LT is a start of building a dominate O line like the RAVENS, like the NINERS. The Buffalo Bills scouting dept sucks from what I have seen over the last 13 years and is a big reason why the team hasn't made the playoffs. Bills GM / scouts don't have evaluating acumen to find good players in the later rounds. Just look at the last 3 drafts for proof of that. The ONLY way I see this team ever getting better is to invest top picks in that line until they can give whatever QB they eventually choose to start Tom Brady like time in the pocket. If they do that this year, and sign some top FA O lineman next year they might stand a chance of developing a rookie properly. Instead of ending up with a shell shocked JP Losman / Trent Edwards.

Currently the Buffalo Bills have one O line stud at center in Eric Wood. But the problem is the man can't stay healthy the entire season and when he goes down, the team goes with him. They have a semi stud at LT in Cordy Glenn. A player who would be even better at RT, and could be an all pro at guard. This is one massive man, 6'5'' 345 Lbs. Glenn's flaws at LT against speed rushers will be seen this season with Kolb, Jackson or some rookie at QB. At 345 his feet just aren't quick enough, no need to argue this point as you will see this season. The Bills could use upgrades at RT, RG and would benefit greatly by taking one of those top 3 LT's and moving Glenn to RT. Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher, Lane Johnson. or even drafting RT DJ Fluker, and keeping Glenn at LT. They would better by drafting either OG Chance Warmack / Jonathan Cooper if all the LT's are gone by the 8th pick, and they probably will be. This is the year for O linemen, and not more Jimmy Clausen's!! Remember all the hype for that bum? "With all due respect to Oklahoma's Sam Bradford, the Fighting Irish's Jimmy Clausen has established himself as the best pocket passer in this draft." http://www.fftoolbox...rospect_id=2387 "Summary: Jimmy Clausen is a franchise quarterback. He has carried the spotlight since he was a teenager and has surpassed the hype." http://walterfootbal...010jclausen.php SI Don Banks had him going #4 to the Redskins http://sportsillustr...ft.1/index.html

Look over the history of the Buffalo Bills, they were good when they had a very good O line! The years they were AFL Champions 64-65. LT Stew Barber- LG Billy Shaw- C Dave Behrman ,RG Al Bemiller- Dick Hudson... OM freakin G, no wonder QB Jack Kemp / Cookie Gilchrist played so brilliantly. Look at those names, every one in the pro bowl and some are on the Bills wall of fame. Made the playoffs in 1974 with 2 all pro guards in Reggie McKenzie & Joe Delamielleure a 2nd round pick and a 1st round pick 1980 playoffs, LT Ken Jones, LG Reggie McKenzie, C Will Grant, RG Conrad Dobler, RT Joe Devlin. In 1980 HC Chuck Knox drafted a GUARD with the first pick. That guard went on to play 16 years in the NFL, 14 for Buffalo, and made the pro bowl. He locked down that LG spot the entire reign of those fabulous 90's Buffalo Bills. That line was a big reason why Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Marv Levy, are all in the Hall of Fame IMHO. 1990 Wolford*, Ritcher*, Hull*, Davis, Ballard. LT Willford a first round pick, LG Ritcher a first round pick and C Hull from the USFL. NFN, but the Bills could have been even better back then had they upgraded RT & RG positions. Perhaps even winning a super bowl. I can recall some of those runs to the SB that the O line was sooo banged up in the playoffs they had TE Pete Metzelaars lining up at tackle. 1998 playoffs LT John Fina, LG Ruben Brown (9 time pro bowler) both first draft round picks. Jeez, the bills made the playoffs with Doug Flutie at QB and Johathan Linton at RB (who?) in 1999. It just stands to reason when the Bills invest top draft choices in the O line they suddenly give whatever QB they have better protection, and more time to throw. The running game gets better, and the team makes the playoffs. The better O line they had, the better they did. BTW, both Jim Ritcher and Will Wolford should be on that wall of fame JMO. I quote, "The general consensus among most NFL Draft analysts is that the 2013 quarterback class is a little on the weak side. But don't tell that to Bills general manager Buddy Nix. He believes that the class could produce two or three franchise quarterbacks." http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/22084506/bills-gm-buddy-nix-two-or-three-franchise-qbs-in-2013-draft-class click the link and read it.

Thank you. They had two #1 draft picks on the O line, Michael Oher and Bryant Mckinnie, who was drafted by the Vikings. You know McKinnie the #7th overall pick in the 2002 draft. the one where the Bills selected Mike D Williams with the 4th overall pick. BTW, how did that OT at the 7th overall pick workout for the Vikings, played 8 years for them at LT and made the pro bowl, 2 years with the Ravens and a super bowl ring....hrmmm. The Ravens have 6x pro bowl center Matt Birk also from the Vikings. I had forgotten that 7 year vet, and #1 pick OG Ben Grubbs left as a FA to the NO Saints. The Ravens starting O line for 2012 McKinnie 1st, Yanda 3rd, Birk 6th, Williams 2nd, Oher 1st. Two first rounders at OT makes for an excellent argument The difference between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens is the latter is able to distinguish top talent in the later rounds as opposed to the Bills who are lucky to pull an average player out of the early first round pick. Thus the Ravens normally usually haven't drafted O linemen in the first round. Besides recently drafting Michael Oher / Benn Grubbs in the first round of course. Anyway, that was kinda the reason why I think the Bills should use that #8 on an O linemen. Not to worry tho, as another poster pointed out Buddy Nix will probably draft a DB or QB at #8.
-
Folks gotta realize that QB Joe Flacco had time to throw those deep drop 5-7 step passes to Anquan Bolden, and Torrey Smith BECAUSE of his O line. LT Will Wolford 6'5'' 300 lbs, RT Howard "house" Ballard, 6'6'' 325lbs remember those two Buffalo Bills from the 90's. They ran the no huddle just fine as I recall. Get a grip guys, an O linemen might not be a sexy pick in the first round! But it sure will help win games, I'm 100% certain of that.
-
Yea right, just tell that to the 49ers with 3 #1 draft picks on their O line, Just look at their offense actually built thu the draft. 2012 roster FIVE, 1st rounders, TWO, 3rds, one 5th, and one 7th at FB. Plus the starting QB at the end of the season was a 2nd rounder. That team has got to be the favorite to win the SB this year. Ok you say, that might be a fluke.. then you look at the Super bowl winning team, the Baltimore Ravens starting roster 3 #1 draft picks on their O line also. FOUR 1st rounders (QB the other) Three #2's, two #3's, and one 5th center Matt Birk. The days of the big uglies will always be in style as it is the key to winning games. Build thru the trenches!! Protect the QB!! Make the running game work!!

"Its a good year to be a big ugly" http://buffalonews.c...two-bills-drive I've been spouting for months that this is the year to draft an O lineman with that #8 pick and not the year to draft a QB. No QB is rated / graded better then a top 15 pick by most scouts and all of them need further development. There are 4 top OT's in this years draft. 3 LT's and one RT that should go in the top 15. There are two OG's that should go in the top 15, and one in the top 10. Fans claiming the Bills should trade back to get more picks. I've seen what Nix drafts in the later rounds, and would rather he take a shot at drafting an "impact" starter with that #8 then to lose out on what could be an all pro player to protect that future "franchise" QB. In my view two of the biggest reasons for so much QB failure since the mid 90's is the fact that the Bills haven't spent a top 10 first round pick on a QB, AND haven't built that O line up like it was for Jim Kelly. LT, Will Wolford*- LG, Jim Richter*, C Kent Hull*, RG John H Davis, RT, Howard Ballard Let me repeat, this is NOT the year to draft that 'franchise" elite QB with the #8 pick, Simply because none of them grade out to be that good. Nobody in this draft is an Andrew Luck / RG3 or even a Matthew Stafford / Sam Bradford. This is another year like 2010 with no Sam Bradford! Only Tim Tebow was taken behind Bradford in the first round, and Jimmy Clausen was the 3rd QB draft in the 2nd round. Say, BTW, how did that work out for the Panthers? http://aol.sportingn...y-have-nfl-game The bad thing is, the Buffalo Bills haven't brought in any O linemen to Buffalo for interviews AFAIK. FYI, Bill Polian recently stated he thinks Oklahoma’s Landry Jones is the best QB in this years draft class. “I don’t think anybody in this group is going to be able to step in right away and lead the team, but if you ask me, who’s the guy who’s most ready, and who’s the guy who’s had the most winning experience, it would be Landry Jones,” Polian said. http://profootballta...b-in-the-draft/ Is Buddy Nix really the man to find that elusive elite franchise QB for the Buffalo Bills? Its almost as elusive as that proverbial baby that Nix along with Gailey & Co never found. This is the man who thinks this years class has 2 or 3 "franchise" QB's, even if the rest of the world disagrees. I know I don't agree. http://www.cbssports...013-draft-class Edit: BTW, The Buffalo Bills worked out Landry Jones Mar 25th

Damond Talbot's Buffalo Bills Mock Draft 2.0
thewildrabbit replied to Damond Talbot's topic in College Football
Sorry guys, but I don't buy that there are 3+ franchise QB's in a draft when top NFL scouts are stating they wouldn't touch one before the 20th pick. The list of mess ups by Buddy Nix in his 3 year reign is almost endless as a GM, and yet so many fans here are still enamored with what "buddy says". On a team desperately seeking talent at so many positions simply look at the list of players that Nix hasn't found in 3 years of drafting, QB, pass rusher, top WR's, top LBers. I can only hope to the good lord that Doug Marrone has some say in this years draft, and he evaluates what players the team needs and then selects them. That Said, I think Barkley / Nassib would be their right guy with the #2 pick. I'm still holding out hope that Marrone selects one of the top 3-4 OT's or top 3 OG's in the first round. This is the year for O linemen, not QB's!!! Even a WR with Tevon Auston, Cordarrelle Patterson in the first wouldn't be so bad. -

Falcons trying to trade up in the NFL draft
thewildrabbit replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also agree on those players as just about can't miss. Although, I would add Alabama OT Fluker to that list. The Bills should be looking at one or all of those top 5 linemen along with DJ Fluker. the guy is a beast. "Fluker is universally considered a first-round talent, but questions about his athleticism have some projecting him as a guard. Checking in at 6-foot-5, Fluker has shed 16 pounds from his Senior Bowl weight of 355. According to NBC Sports' Ross Tucker, at least one team picking in the top-ten "loves" Fluker." http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/259366/mort-alabama-rt-dj-fluker-a-true-riser?rw=1 But, like I said earlier in this post just knowing the past draft history of this team over the last decade, and 3 year history of Buddy Nix drafts. I feel they will draft that one DB, if he is there. Besides, the Bills didn't even bring in an O linemen for a visit. Figures -
Falcons trying to trade up in the NFL draft
thewildrabbit replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First off, I'm not arguing anything. Not neglecting anything either as i didn't feel the need to discuss the Falcons entire personnel status in that post. Just merely pointing out that the Falcons made a blockbuster trade for a WR because they saw the need for having two top WR's! Which was an argument we got into a while back, which you ran away from once I pointed out that how much the Falcons gave up for one WR. I understood back then, and now, that the Falcons thought they needed that other top WR to help take coverages away from White as a high priority. You kept arguing that teams don't need two top WR's, period! The Falcons O line, while very good, is not great, and could have used some upgrades to that line over a WR. The fact that they recently released RT Clabo proves that. Easy, I don't think so! A new young GM put his entire career on a move like that if it doesn't pan out. Not to mention the Falcons GM having the temerity, and scouting acumen to pull off a trade like that for a just a single WR. Especially an unproven college player to be drafted. I don't think I can ever remember a team giving up that many draft picks for a WR in the draft. -
Falcons trying to trade up in the NFL draft
thewildrabbit replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've pointed this out several times in this forum as to why a top second WR is so important to an offense as the Falcons already had a top WR in Roddy White and a top TE in Tony Gonzalaz. Most fans here just don't get the importance of that second WR. Look what the Falcons gave up for a WR. That kind of trade usually only happens for a QB. The Falcons have an awesome scouting dept, unlike the Buffalo Bills. My take is the Falcons are hot for an OT after releasing RT Tyson Clabo. They are possibly looking very hard at Alabama RT DJ Fluker for that position. Because Fluker will be gone long before the 30th pick. But then again they could very well be after one of the top 3 OTs, Joeckel, Fisher, Johnson or even OG Chance Warmack to build that O line to protect Matt Ryan. This is the year to draft an O linemen for sure, and not a QB in the first round, 4 great OT's and 2 great OG's. While almost every NFL needs an upgrade in the O line. Leave to the Bills to draft some other position this year...another DB most likely.
