  1. He may not be a huge star but Zach Galifinakis (sp?) was in Corky Romano as I was switching through the channels the other day.
  2. Yea, Ava's is still there. Can't say I go there very often, I'm more of a Crazy Jakes and Dwyers kinda guy. Haha great place...I'll be sure to tell Greg that RayFinkle said hello lol.
  3. I'm not extremely knowledgeable on the subject, but if we're talking all of college basketball and not just the tournament I have some names that might work. Manny Harris (Michigan) Evan Turner (OSU) Demarcus Cousins (KU) Scotty Reynolds (Villanova) John Wall (KU) Honorable Mention: Ed Davis (UNC) Greivis Vasquez (Maryland) ^It was tough to just pick 5...I'm sure I'm missing some but these were the first ones to come to mind.
  4. Probably gonna head to Dwyer's Irish Pub on Webster St. (North Tonawanda). It gets pretty crazy on St. Patty's Day.
  5. Exactly what I was thinking. Davis may be good, but we need people for the future not just the present. The best top OT available or McClain at 9 and I'm a happy man. With our injuries at LB last year, I don't think you can have too many.
  6. Download: 8689 kbps Upload: 986 kbps Latency: 37ms Jitter: 62ms ISP: Time Warner, Buffalo
  7. I feel the exact same way. I used to look forward to Monday nights to watch it, but now it's so much easier just to tape it and then catch it on the weekend.
  8. Yeah man, it really tied the room together... "Hey, watch the beverage man!"
  9. Follow ExiledinIllinois's directions, except the box is called "Custom Member Title"...i believe you can only do it once you have 4 bars.
  10. Agreed, I thought Christoph Waltz was awesome in the film and a well deserved Oscar. The only movies I've seen out of the best picture nominees were Hurt Locker, District 9, and Inglourious Basterds. To be honest, I thought the Hurt Locker was a good movie and better than the other two, but after I left the theatre I wasn't thinking Oscar worthy. It seemed like a very weak class of Best Pictures which I guess is why it won, don't get me wrong it was very enjoyable but I guess I wasn't completely wowed by it. I'm just glad Avatar didn't win.
  11. Breaking into and hotwiring a car is as easy as 1, 2, 3....and so is hacking into FBI and government files from a PC. The good guys are always one step too late, until the end of the film where they appear right at the possible last second to save the world. Cars that crash always explode instantly. If you are surrounded by 10 bad guys, don't worry they'll all attack you one by one, never all at once. Let's put the captured good guy/guys in a really intricate death trap, with nobody watching. During car chase scenes, there's always a fruit cart in the way.
  12. Eh, I've tried it once on tap and have to say I wasn't a big fan. Many people have been talking about it so I might try it again because I'm a big fan of pretty much every other seasonal beer Sam Adams puts out. I've become a huge fan of Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale lately and it seems to be all that I want to drink on tap. Actually most of the Great Lakes beers are pretty tastey. Also, Dogfish Head 60 min is pretty solid, but the 90 min is awesome.
  13. Take a look at last week's top 20 rated primtime shows, W/E: 2/28/2010...it's pretty pathetic (except the olympics). http://www.zap2it.com/tv/ratings/zap-niels...amp;PageSize=50
  14. Seriously. Everything in this world has become about individuality and making sure everyone feels "comfortable" with everything. I'm sick of it. I'm not saying individuality is bad, but not everything in this world is completely fair, it's just the way it is. People just love to complain. Hmm, I guess I'm being a hypocrit because I'm complaining...oh well.
  15. What? Toni Lydman and Hank Tallinder aren't physical enough for you? Har har har
  16. Word. I love older movies. They are the best ones. Real character development, thought-provoking plots, cigarettes and liquor in every scene, and no need for crazy CGI or huge budgets to create a masterpiece.
  17. I agree on many of your points, but I will disagree saying that I've liked the way Connelly had been playing up until the Olympic break. He was a point machine before the break and as long as he keeps staying healthy I'm glad to have him on the team. Vanek on the other hand, I WISH there was a team that wanted to take his ridiculous contract...he's invisible 99% of the time out there.
  18. Se7en was a great movie, but I kinda guessed the ending before it happened and luckily I got it right so I ruined it for myself. Fight Club was also very good, I didn't know there was a twist at the end when I watched it which was good for me. ^David Fincher has a knack for these twists I guess. Memento was a great movie and I thought the ending was great as well. I don't understand the hatred for the 6th Sense twist...I mean I was 11 when I saw the movie, but I still loved the twist at the end. Somebody mentioned The Village, which I can agree with. The movie overall wasn't very good, but the ending was quite well done and I left the screening suprised.
  19. I've seen all the Planet Earth episodes, absolutely stunning show. My favorite episode was when they dove down into the deep sea where it was complete darkness all the time. It's amazing what survives down there and the means to how they survive. If you enjoy the Planet Earth's, check out Galapagos. I'm not too sure if it's made by the same company, but it definitely seems like it watching it, besides the narrator of course. The islands are quite interesting and a definite must see for Planet Earth fans. http://www.amazon.com/Galapagos-Blu-ray-Ti...0372&sr=8-4
  20. I have heard of it and talked to people who have it, they absolutely love it. I've thought about jailbreaking mine, but I don't really know how to do it and I don't want there to be some weird virus that ends up showing up and ruining the phone. If you do it, can you relay how it works and how to do it on the iPhone? I'd like to hear some more input.
