  1. Completely agree with Dancer in the Dark, extremely depressing movie. Could rival Requiem for the top spot.
  2. I gotta agree with Requiem for a Dream. The Pianist w/ Adrian Brody is also very depressing, but still a very good movie.
  3. I agree. I could probably do 5 favorites but idk if I could choose just one. -Rear Window -Dazed and Confused -Dial M for Murder -Dr. Strangelove -Casablanca -Night of the Living Dead -Animal House -Spirited Away -LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring -A Clockwork Orange Ok, maybe I can't even do a top 5 but these are all very enjoyable to me.
  4. What was with him car shopping? Looking for a used SUV with over 100,000 miles on it and trying to haggle the guy down on the price. If I just got a big time contract, I'd at least get something NEW...or something USED with low mileage. Not a Dodge Durango with 120,000 miles on it for 7K.
  5. I think there are few variables that COULD make a huge difference to Fitzy's production this year. 1. Being proclaimed the starter from the end of last year and having all of offseason, training camp, and preseason to get prepared for the season. He's no longer looking over his shoulder worrying about screwing up and having his job taken away. This gives him more confidence entering the season and allows him to be more aggressive with his young receivers. 2. Continuity under Gailey and the offense in general. No new head coach or system that needed to be altered. Remember, last year was a new head coach and he was still getting used to his receivers, Oline, coach, and system. 3. New relationship with Gailey. I think Fitz and Gailey have a really good relationship going into this season, they understand what each wants and what needs to be done. Gailey has said that he only has to tell Fitz something one time and he understands what he wants and can accomplish it right away. This quick learning and understanding between the two can create great chemistry. Now I'm not saying Fitzpatrick is gonna go right out and be a elite QB, but I think these changes from last year will definitely improve Fitz and the offense and move things in the right direction.
  6. I'll be up in the nosebleeds somewhere, probably one of the last rows but Idc cause it's gonna be awesome. We have 12 in a row all together so things might get wild. CANT WAIT!
  7. I loved it, it was cool to see how quickly things happen after the draft. Ryan Williams was still waiting to be picked and Dareus and Peterson were already at their respective stadiums meeting owners, coaches, other players, etc. -Showed Dareus looking for apartments in Buffalo, some pretty nice places I might add. -Also showed him at Anchor Bar pounding some wings in one bite. He's got a great personality, funny and entertaining. -As someone else mentioned, he had some crazy ICE on him during the draft. That watch was nastyyyy. -Showed him dominating those first couple preseason games, also showed him get poked in the eye (maybe the Detroit game?? I cant remember) and his eye swelled up a bit but he was fine by the end of the game. -Some other off the field interviews and stuff like that, not much else I can really remember. Other rookies shown; Andy Dalton (GF is SMOKING HOT), Patrick Peterson, Ryan Williams (tore patellar tendon first snap in NFL), Prince Amukamara (kind of a weird guy), and Muhammad Wilkerson. Dareus and Peterson seem to be the most impressive of the Rookies they showed. I think he's gonna have a very bright future and can't wait to see him hold down this D for years to come. I think most of those players RENT the jewelry for the occasion. I may be wrong, but I think a lot of celebrities do the same thing for Oscars, Grammys, etc.
  8. 1. Converting on 3rd downs. 2. Getting 7 points in the red zone instead of 3s. Fitz looked good for most of the game, spreading out in 4-5 wide sets really created mismatches the entire game. If we can keep up good protection of Fitz I think we'll be fine on offense. Keep pounding the new "Beast Mode" Freddy and change the pace with Spiller and we have one solid unit.
  9. Wow, that's disgusting. House looks nice though.
  10. Anything Hunter S. Thompson, he's awesome.
  11. He was great. Better than Poz ever was in coverage and fine against the run. Another player who really impressed was Aaron Williams. I loved the way he plays the game.
  12. The biggest thing I noticed about this game was the play of Nick Barnett and Aaron Williams. Both looked like studs. Our tackling was phenomenal, Run DEF was great against #1 running team from last year, and Fitzy controlled the game. Impressive first game, but definitely a long road ahead. It's nice to be pleasantly surprised every once in a while with the Bills. P.S. How could I forget Freddy J. Dude was a monster, I don't think he ever gets pushed backwards.
  13. I know, I really do too. Just the time period and seeing "What's Up" and "Chumbawumba" just made me think of that song so I had to post it to see if any got the reference lol.
  14. This is awesome. One of the best trilogies ever, IMO.
  15. Agreed man. I have the little Manning as a backup but I hate little Manning.
  16. I took Andre and Roddy at 12, 13 and then McFadden and Stevie in the next two rounds. I couldn't believe McFadden was still there, bunch of morons haha. In my other 10 team draft McFadden went #11. Just goes to show you how things can change from draft to draft.
  17. They have a good run game and a good DEF. Their passing game is nothing to be scared of. It will be a close game. Bills get a turnover mid-way through the fourth to set up game winning drive. W 20-17. /thread
  18. On a positive note, Berman and Jackson did a best games of the past 25 years and the Bills were #1 with the comeback vs. Houston.
  19. I realize the guy is a beast physically, but the teams he got his sacks against were less than impressive. That was my only concern with him coming into the draft. 11 sacks: The Citadel (1) East Carolina (2) Virginia (3) Georgia Southern (1) Duke (3) Boston College (1) We'll just have to see what he can do at the pro level.
  20. Not bad. I think Julio is gonna have an impressive year, but you might want to look into finding a second RB via trade/FA.
