  1. How were there not flags thrown? That is ridiculous. Are the refs also part of this bounty gate?
  2. The Patriots season opener a few years ago. Terrible feeling. Awful, just awful. San Francisco game a few years ago was THE WORST sporting event I've ever been to.
  3. What's that? I'm a teacher, it's unbelievable how many parents come flying at the teacher first before speaking with the child. The child is always right these days, teachers are just dumb and ignorant and stupid.
  4. It's all about the "fast" lifestyle that many of these athletes see as a youngster. They see these big time players driving around in tricked out Escalades, buying enormous houses, and spending insane amounts of money at strip clubs/bars. Many(not all) are usually from a low socioeconomic area and don't know what to do with their sudden wealth. They also are not just caring for themselves; but for their children, girlfriends/wives, and many times they bring their whole entourage from home. It's sad that somebody that had earnings of over $80 million is now broke and can't pay child support. Maybe mandate a financial class that these projected prospects have to take before they move onto the NFL....but who are we kidding, they could prolly find a loophole where they wouldn't have to attend that class either.
  5. I kinda like PFF, they do a lot of really cool unusual statistics. Their COO Khaled seems to like the Bills and LOVES K. Williams.
  6. I think the second list is just based on purely rushing, receiving not included.
  7. Every team has weaknesses, DML. Do you remember the Packers OLine from two years ago? It was abysmal. The Giants secondary last year was awful, but they masked their weakness with a very strong DLine. I'm not saying the Bills are Super Bowl contenders just yet, but there have been awesome moves this offseason that look VERY bright for the future which is why I think the optimism is there. The players are excited and the fans are excited. There is a buzz about the team that hasn't been around in awhile. I prefer optimism to pessimism.
  8. Well put. I really hate his ego. I wish Manny would put a whooping on him, but I really don't see it happening.
  9. Buddy must read this site daily. All the moves that they've accomplished have all been TBD's ideas for the future. Maybe we can send our own representative to all Bills FO meetings from now on. I vote crayonz.
  10. I think we should bring him back to back-up Fitzy. Veteran player, could teach the young kids how to surf, and he does have a Super Bowl ring.
  11. 10 sacks Washington game, 13 sacks other 15 games is basically what he's saying.
  12. I really hope you're being sarcastic...
  13. The Buccaneers, with coach Schiano, signed Eric Legrand to a pro contract. For those who don't know Eric suffered a severe spinal injury and fractured some vertebrae making a tackle against Army in 2010. http://espn.go.com/n...ymbolic-gesture http://www.nj.com/ru...ith_buccan.html “Leading up to the draft, I couldn’t help but think that this should’ve been Eric’s draft class,” Schiano said in a statement released today by Rutgers and the Buccaneers. “This small gesture is the least we could do to recognize his character, spirit, and perseverance. The way Eric lives his life epitomizes what we are looking for in Buccaneer Men.”
  14. If there was ever a proper moment to use the word "schwing" this video would definitely be it. DOUBLE SCHWING!
  15. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
  16. She burnt your damn toast? Man, you took it easy. She'd be in pieces buried in the backyard if she burnt my toast AND forgot to put jam on that sucker.
  17. Man, I never knew we'd miss 4 catches for 74 yards that much.
  18. ESPN is absolutely horrendous. Talked about Kirk Cousins and RGIII for about 15 mins and completely neglected like 8 picks, including the Bills. I turned it off, I couldn't stand those clowns.
  19. Agreed. His coach came out and said he's a very reserved and mature player for his age. Plus, 3 straight years starting in the SEC with no injuries sounds good to me.
  20. As someone posted earlier in this thread, Williams and Gilmore together for the future will be very solid. Can't hate on a big physical CB who will tackle. Btw, I don't think he's missed a single game in his 3 year career as a starter for USC. I like what Buddy does, good clean, safe pick. Dareus- SEC, Shepard- SEC, Gilmore- SEC. I think we're seeing a trend here...
  21. As a man, on my list of priorities, fashion is near the bottom. Shorts and a t-shirt is my style, with the occasional suit. Although my profession allows the shorts and t-shirt (phys. ed. teacher).
  22. I don't think that's the right way to look at it. Last year we had a great group of CORE players such as the ones posted in the OP. Resigning these core players allows us to focus on areas of need, rather than letting them go and having to replace AGAIN with new players. Coaching, system, and player continuity is important to success. One more year experience under a coach and system is quite important, as well as becoming familiar with teammates whether it be running routes or knowing how the other one plays. I feel like these are all underrated aspects when it comes to putting together a successful team....it doesn't happen overnight.
