I haven't heard anything health related and this certainly is news to me. I know him very well, he's a great guy! His daughter is dating one of my best friends so he usually gets us VIP passes for training camp every year and occasionally in the locker room to meet a bunch of the guys. I'll have to talk to my friend and see what the deal is... EDIT: I just talked to my friend and he said they apparently gave him an option for an early retirement, most likely to get somebody younger started, so he took it. He's a great dude, I wish him the best in retirement!

I think the defense disappointed me a lot more than the offense. I knew the offense would have problems, but the defense was supposed to help keep us in games. I don't think the Jets punted until the third quarter!

I have memories here and there of the mid-90s games, but the first time my heart was really broken was the Music City Miracle game. Play #1- Shotgun, backpeddled, threw off his back foot, for a two yard fire route to FB that ended up incomplete. Play #2- Shotgun, roll out to the right, nobody open, throw it out of bounds. Play #3- Checkdown to RB for +4 yards. Punt. Sound familiar? On a similar note...Demetress Bell looked AWFUL. I saw him get beat at least twice, 2 holding penalties, and a false start. By the way, King Dunlap is an ENORMOUS individual.
