  1. Who the hell can cover Jimmy Graham? I think it's almost impossible.
  2. I am much more confident with Carpenter than I EVER was with Lindell.
  3. He sucks. That article was "compacted below fifty-feet of garbage."
  4. Another interesting statistic from PFF. "Buffalo Bills: There are 10 inside/middle linebackers in the league who have yet to miss a tackle. The only pair of teammates are Kiko Alonso and Arthur Moats." https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/09/17/32-observations-week-2-2/.
  5. I wasn't really referring to that drive, mostly the first two games in general but I guess i wrote it right after I talked about the last drive so my bad.
  6. I really like what I've seen. He's reading the defense and making high percentage throws, hard to complain about that. First week he made a nice throw between LB and Safety to Chandler that set up the Woods TD. Also, a nice touch throw to Stevie in back of end zone week one as well. Second week, great slot dig route to Stevie IN STRIDE for about 30 YAC to set up Freddie TD. Final drive was awesome as well. I have no problem with checking down to our RBs. They are skilled players and can make people miss in space. I do think the long ball needs to improve but I am impressed with where he's at so far. I also think it's refreshing to have a tall quarterback that can stand up tall in the pocket and make quick throws. Better than Fitzy's long laboring release that get's batted down at the line.
  7. RIP. Just an awful, terrible situation. As a football coach I saw two kids get taken away in ambulances last season for neck injuries. It's such a violent game, you can't stress enough how important it is to keep your head up.
  8. I have found that I don't have to go very far to get very, very good wings. In North Tonawanda; Dwyer's, The Village Inn, Klimek's, and Sawyer Creek all are above average in taste and size.
  9. Agreed. One of the worst acronyms ever.
  10. We have a set initial lineup, so you have to have certain amount of each position.
  11. Well, with the way RBs were going it was tough to get any value later in the draft. RBs flew off the board the first two rounds and then TWO TEAMS took 3 RBs out of their first 4 picks. TWO. That basically left scraps for teams in my predicament later in the draft. One teams first 5 picks were this- Morris, D. Wilson, A. Johnson, S. Jax, Eddie Lacy. So I was kind of forced to stock up on WRs and hope for some trade value later in the year.
  12. Yeah agreed, I was obviously first overall pick so at 20, 21 I was planning on going RB, WR but when I saw Thomas and Marshall there I had to pull the trigger. Miller could be a dark horse this year, but as you said my WR depth could work to trade for a solid RB2 if he's not. Also, I like my handcuff of Ray Rice and S. Jax. If something happens to either one, Pierce or Rodgers could serve as a solid RB2.
  13. Russell Wilson Joe Flacco Adrian Peterson Lamar Miller Ahmad Bradshaw Bernard Pierce Jaquizz Rodgers Brandon Marshall Demaryius Thomas Marques Colston Dwayne Bowe Chris Givens Denarius Moore Greg Olsen Owen Daniels New England Pittsburgh Tucker Henery
  14. Yes. ...oh sorry, thought it was a "would ya?" thread.
  15. Agreed. Bud Light is even worse. I had a party at my house 3 months ago. Some people left close to a case of Bud Light in my fridge. I cannot bring myself to drink it, it's just awful.
  16. Just had the Great Lakes Oktoberfest last night. Very similar to Sam IMO. Not a big fan of the HEX, Magic Hat just really doesn't do anything for me. Agree with this. Always seems to sell out fast wherever they have it on tap.
  17. Offense: Refreshing Defense: Agitating Special Teams: Goodwin
  18. After Indy coverted two early first downs, I loved seeing Mario getting in the faces of the others on defense. Either somebody did something wrong or he was just trying to fire them up, but either way it seemed to work. Alonzo seems to be exactly what we've been looking for since Puz. How about Manny Lawson too? He made a few stellar plays. Our linebackers seem to be long and fast which is very refreshing. Again, it's only pre-season but at least there is more optimism than pessimism after the first game. I do have to say that the least impressive person for the Bills has gotta be Ray Bentley. My gosh is he awful.
  19. Gotta love Dufner. Calm, cool, and collected. He never seems phased.
  20. Haha. Pretty interesting that both Barkley and Nassib can't even win the back-up role and Manuel is poised to start.
  21. Haha. He better not be the damn Mike this year or I'm gonna blow a gasket.
  22. Haha, very good reason. Going with Peterson at 1 and then best available RB, WR in 2nd, 3rd. Unless Brees or Rodgers is still there...but doubtful.
  23. mockdraftcentral.com -- This isn't so much a draft guide, but a really nice site. It's free to sign-up and the ADP (average draft position) reports are pretty insightful into where most players are going.
  24. Everybody has their own opinions on how to draft. Many people feel like there is 1-3 elite QBs and then probably 7-8 great QBs which is why it makes sense to wait around until about round 5 to take one. Where are you drafting? I don't think it ever hurts you to go RB, RB rounds one and two. They will be the foundation of your team.
  25. I know exactly what you're talking about. I was just looking at this girl's page the other day and EVERY SINGLE PICTURE she had her hand on her hip and was posing. I was thoroughly annoyed.
