  1. I mean, I realize the first Anchorman was over the top ridiculous too, but a lot of the jokes I didn't find funny in this one. They played on the same jokes from the first one (condoms vs. cologne, anchor fight), Steve Carrell's character was just flat out ridiculous at times. He was presiding over his own funeral? I mean, c'monnn. Other things I did not like: -RV crash scene, Brick eating an ice cream?, cruise control?, scorpions and bowling balls? I just thought it was dumb. -The whole shark bit -Anchor fight, which was funny in the first one, was stupid in the second one. -30 minutes too long -Dinner with Ron's black bosses family, the first part was hilarious, but then he kept going on and on and on...just like the movie. The first Anchorman was fresh, new, and original. This one just stunk....IMO.
  2. 3 F. -20 F Wind Chill. Garage door mechanism froze, had to open manually. Not much snow at home, but white out conditions at work.
  3. I'm gonna say Joe Staley, Trent Williams, and Joe Thomas. I didn't look anything up, but I will right now. EDIT: I don't know where to find the rankings on the site so I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I'm correct.
  4. They have Cordy Glenn rated as the 8th best OT in the league, as well as the youngest of the bunch. Pretty solid from a guy who Kiper said wasn't a LT.
  5. Somebody posted this on facebook a few days ago. They were saying how it was an abandoned anthill, not that I'm too upset about getting rid of fire ants if it wasn't.
  6. Glennon got outta the pocket, giving him extra time and threw a jump ball to 6'4" VJax being covered by a 5'8" Robey. His cards were stacked against him, almost surely gonna lose that battle. I think Robey has been tremendous this year. Definitely a bright spot.
  7. I work for my grandparent's small manufacturing company. Only about 11 employees but they buy us pizza and wings on Xmas Eve and we get to leave at lunchtime with whole days pay. Get 4 days paid holiday for Xmas Eve, Xmas, NYE, New Years, and we are closed from 12/25-1/5. I'll take it.
  8. We have the white icicle lights on our gutters, with the colored net lights on our bushes, and white lights on our tree in the front window. I think it's a very good combination. It's our first year in the new house so I may expand as the years go on. Agreed. Lazy decorating.
  9. Love Ted's. We had one directly next to our high school, so you can imagine we spent a lot of time there on half-days and such. Their french fries and cheese sauce are a dynamite combo. Foot longs are good as well. Both those mixed with a nice loganberry and I'm a happy man.
  10. Meanwhile in Buffalo, NY. Zero snow, solid 30 degrees outside. No problems, mon!
  11. I'd be pissed too if I was the owner. He's probably losing out on a ton of business, not to mention how much repair work needs to be done. Who cares if he's being insensitive.
  12. All of those were easy. 4320 on second attempt. Laptop slows you down a tad.
  13. Yeah, maybe somebody who's followed football before. Peter King wrote a story about him and his only exposure to the game was playing the Madden video game. He didn't know what a "crash blitz", "zone blitz" "cover 3" were when he was playing the game, he said it just sounded like a good play. If you've never played or watched a lot of football, it's an extremely hard game to pick up. Think of all the things he has to learn--- plays, formations, penalties, rules, tackling form, technique, leverage, play-action, angles, coverage zones, etc. I'm not saying he's not capable of learning all of that, but to say that 13 weeks should be "plenty" of time to learn LB at the professional level is crazy. Not to mention, I think there's certain CBA rules about practice squad contact and hitting.
  14. I'm more of a Cab Sav kind of guy for reds. Not big on white wine but will certainly drink it if it's there. My mom, sister, and g/f all enjoy the Relax Riesling. Also, Apothic White seems to be a consensus pick for them as well.
  15. Exactly. ESPN pays him to be as ridiculous and over-the-top as he can. That's his duty.
  16. Agreed. I saw a couple weeks ago that PFF had Robey rated as the 3rd best slot CB in the league, not sure where he's at now. He is physical for a small guy and very quick with a great break on the ball.
  17. I'll see you at the pub. Maybe a couple two, three Jamo's.
  18. He was all over Braxton Miller first game of the year as well. He can play with the best of them. It would be awesome to see a top 10 pick from UB.
  19. Wasn't on the list, but I was at the Sabres game last night and had a nice Goose Island IPA. I thought it was really good, very comparable to Dogfish Head 60 Min (one of my favs).
