dont be surprised to see them take a positions none of the geniuses on this board are considering. Most teams take the philosophy of selecting the best player, not necessarily in a position of great need.

i know everyone wants to be a draftnik but right now the bills are a worse team than last year, which means they are pretty awful. THe problems arent going to be solved thru the draft alone. Im not so worried who they take at 9--- i just know everyone on here will be whining about who they take no matter what. My concern is are they a better football team come sat night? I dont see how they will.....

or is it possible that he wanted mcnabb all along and it has notrhing to do with clausen? mcnabb has been pretty durable i think hes missed 5 games in 3 years.... not too bad. And this isnt a defense of clausen, i dont think hes the answer. TOo many people making too many assumptions.

Not at all. Washington took a proven NFL quantity over a draft prospect. That is all. If you dont like clausen thats fine but Shanahan wanting a guy who has been to 5 NFC championships vs a rookie really doesnt say a lot about the rookie no matter how much you want it to.

Yea the logic around here sometimes makes my head want to explode! And quite frankly i understand how everyone has a fetish for a LT, we need one bad. But NO won a super bowl with their backup LT....i dont think they wouldve won with a backup QB No matter how you slice this thing the Bills are going to take the best player at a position of need. Everyones little hypos and fantasy trades are ridiculous. If the Bills like a LT at 9 theyll take him same for a QB... If the Bills like clausen at 9 theyll take him, they dont follow draft gurus overvalue system etc. bc in the end it doesnt matter.

Well i can tell you that in college we did a version of the Patriots team workout which required you to rest 2-4 minutes between sets for maximum results. watching a tv is a lot better than just sitting on a bench waiting for next rep. No, we didnt superset either. TVs arent that big of a deal, they look bad to most on the outside well bc most if not nearly all of you havent been part of an upper level workout

hate to put it like this but quite frankly none of you know what youre talking about, and im not saying i do either but none of us has sat down and gone over game film on this guy.... and even if you replayed the game you wouldnt know his assignments to get an accurate picture. Buffalo fans have an unhealthy and unwise obsession with physical guys whether or not they are good. this guy was cut from an awful football team and was signed to become one of our starters... it shouldnt be a shock that our new GM didnt want him either.

People are this board are fact averse. They like buzz words. the 4-3 is a perfectly fine defensive scheme, just like the 4-3. You cant just flip a switch like you can on a video game and expect the players youve acquired to play in the 4-3 to play fine in a 34. we dont have the bodies for 34. If you idiots are so gung ho on the 3-4 get ready for a bad defenseive year. btw defense wasnt the problem last year. it was lack of offense.
