If we were a QB away that would be one thing. If we stay put and use four of our five picks in the top 100 and get 4 day 1 starters it would not be the end of the world. I get everyone saying we have the draft capital to move up and take our QB top five. The thing that makes me think it won't happen is McDermott's comment about being further away than people think.

The more I see Barkley now after the combine the more I think Cleveland takes him number 1. They can have one of the top 4 QBs at 4. I think they burst the Giants bubble at two and hopefully Beane swoops in with his old buddy Gettleman and offers what it will take to get our boy whoever the hell he is.

Yes but is it THEIR plan? If they are going to do it don't screw around and trade to 1 with Cleveland .

I'll probably be wrong but I am willing to bet the Bills stay put at 21 and 22 and take d line ( maybe Harrison Barnes) and a LB ( insert favorite here) we don't see a QB until round 2. Just my gut feeling.

I just use the fact that McBeane both know Gettleman as the most plausible spot to jump up. Personally I still think it's too much to give up when both sides of the ball look like Swiss.

I just heard Mayock at the combine say the Giants need an oline more than any other glaring hole. We offer the 21 22 and Glenn does it get the trade done? That's 3 starters for trading the spot. If I'm Gettleman I do that deal and if it it happens for the Bills it will be at 2.

See this is why I have such an issue with trading up. The Bills have so many holes to fill and the draft Ammo to do it. Why don't They just do that this year . I totally get that a Franchise QB is the most important position but will a rookie QB win a super bowl without a supporting cast?

The Franchise tag speculation just puts together a list of players that the Bills would never sign. Beane is not going to give a Max contract to anybody except maybe a QB. Depressing. Free Agency period will have us signing a few second and third tier FA's . If they are gems like Poyer I am ok with that. Remember how desperate this place was on the opening day of Free agency in years past?
