Ahh they were awesome. I was a junior in high school playing ball myself and remember trying to be just like those guys. One thing I noticed that I am just starting to see with our current Bills is that If you watch those highlights, every time they made a great play almost every player would go and congratulate the player who just made a great play. It's unity that we saw with the 1991 team. I'm seeing it now with our current roster. Thats a beautiful thing and I think a great sign of things to come

There's no guarantee Floyd will be anything in the NFL. Stevie has done it on the grand stage. We take Floyd and he puts up 70 or 80 catches for a 1000 yds...maybe then He can be the number 1...thats a big if though my man

Problem I see with that is We might not have a willing partner depending how the top 9 picks shake out . Also do we get enough value (i'd like a second to trade down) I doubt that it's even worth it. If Nix does pull off a coup and gets a second...shoot even a third would be a victory and give us some more "pieces"

The question will be is he good enough to use a pick on at 10 with Fitz entrenched as the starter or do they feel everyone else is a reach and his talent is too good to pass up. I haven't seen him play so I can't say but if Nix and CO believe he is the BPA and he's there?....

good post I have shared your sentiment before.Is whoever we pick at 10 considered a "reach" at their position..... michael floyd? one of the tackles? or is Decastro a smart move to solidfy the interior line with some injury uncertainty/ FA next year? IMHO Decastro is the best guard in the draft. How can having a potentially great guard when other options might be considered reaches hurt this football team?

Here we were sitting on our computers like sheep trying to get word that Williams signed. Instead we got a giant F.U by not 1 but 2 free agents. I'm sure that the Bills brass pulled out all the stops and short of giving these guys oral could not convince these guys this is the place. it actually hurt tonight when they pissed on the Bills and left without signing. But then again can you blame them.... all I can say is wow

Fact of the matter is all 12 yrs this team has been eating chips and dip during the playoffs I have faith in what this coaching staff and front office is doing right now. In the eyes of the league and more importantly our fanbase until we reach the post season nothing the Bills do will be relevant.

I dont care if Griffin is the second coming of Christ they waaaay overpayed for this pick. Now instead of having first round picks to fill inevitable needs with top tier talent they will have to sign overpriced free agents. Oh wait they have done that before...how did that work for you little Danny Snider?...glad we are doing it the way Nix is . It's the best I can muster right now. I'm not ready to annoint him the next coming of Christ until after FA period and the draft. I am trying not to be too jaded but the 12 yr wound is gonna take some time to close up.

I was watching this deal closely before I had an opinion on Buddy. This indeed was a homerun for a few reasons. 1 is we did'nt overpay. 2 is we retained our OWN GOOD PLAYERS!. when was the last time we could say that. It has been a revolving door at 1 Bills drive for years and I truly believe that is why this team can not take the next step. You build from within and don't pay for overpriced free agents. This also sends a message to the mid tier free agents that say come in here for a yr or two yrs and perform and get rewarded with a good long term contract. These players opinion of Buddy is that He's a man of his word...I think that says alot about Buddy and the direction this team seems to be heading.

Seriously, last december I posted about not overpaying Stevie. Well done Buddy. Dont know if the numbers for his contract are finalized yet but more up front money with a little over 6.5 a year is dead on for what Stevie is worth. Dont know if we got a hometown discount or what but...GREAT WORK front office....bout f#$@ing time you did something right.

I hate to be the one to come out and say it but its over. Blast me for being a doom and gloomer...fine. Gailey did an admirable job with this bunch in the first half of the season but you can't polish a turd. This team has not got significantly better an ANY position and injuries aside the lack of depth is astounding. I'm tired of hearing the excuses. This team is weak in all aspects and now I think giving Fitz an extension was premature. I don't care if you blast me, I am sick and tired of excuses. today's abyssmal performance was the epitome of what will happen the rest of the year.... the jets will blast us next week and then the ball rolls from there. Will we ever be good again? looking for that ray of hope....not seeing it though
