I firmly believe this must be it for Fitz
26TrapDraw replied to Toshiero's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok so My opinion is that most if not all if the things that were broke last year are fixed or at least got a shot of wd 40 for now. Think back to the steelers yrs when big ben was a rookie and the team was set up for him to be successful. Their D was strong. As I believe ours will be this yr. They had a good running game...check so do we. And another poster said it we probably wont have to score 35 points a game to just compete. Fitzy is smart and if this Defense does its job and we play a good ball control offense with our running game and screens and shots downfield when they come we will win ball games. I think thats what we will see this yr -
uhhhmmm....NO From all that I'm reading about Gailey's offense being so complicated and difficult to learn that over the hill, snitch has been won't figure it out until about week 12...no thanks and yes I'm telling you how I really feel:)

Travis Henry wants back in NFL

Best i could do is have a meeting with travis and line up all his sons and take the best athlete and adopt him....everybody wins -
Wow theory of relativity and predicting the bills season? He really was wise beyond his years

So if we are able to stop the run generate pressure and set opposing offenses to third and long situations like I hope we will, we will be able to play a much safer but incredibly effective ball control offense this year. I think we have arguably one if the best one two punches in the league in our backfield and I also believe Gailey will be even more effective with the lead versus trying to win shootouts week to week.I think its unfair to put fitz in rhat position or any qb for that matter. I think back to Rothlisbergers rookie year where they had a great running game and dominant defense. Hoping that we see that blueprint all year. If we do stats and history say we will punch our ticket to the playoffs ...thoughts?

Can Fitzpatrick be an upper echelon QB?

This...good post -
well thats a silly question. They get into college on pure academics, an amazing S.A.T score and glowing recommendations from their teachers that say their scholastic ability is second to none of course

this...also I can't remember the last free safety I've watched besides maybe ed reed that has the ball skills byrd has. HE really does have a nose for the ball and if you watch highlight videos of him, he really does have amazing recognition skills. With the dline causing the kind of hell that they should this year it would not surprise me to see double digit picks for him this year.

Heres the thing. Wobbly passes say a couple of things. Maybe poor grip maybe part mechanics but a wobbly pass over fifteen yards will hang in the air longer than a more aero dynamic spiral thats a fact. And with the winds at the ralph my concern is it will cost us completions / possessions if its picked...just my take

Ok so I'm watching the bills round ups on BB.com and I noticed something. Just about every ball Fitz threw was a wobbler. It had plenty of zip on it but I cant help but think when the bullets are flying that the wobbly passes are what's getting him in trouble with timing/accuracy. Thoughts?

QB Coach Lee: I'm going with the expert.
26TrapDraw replied to Rivermont Mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This X a 1000 His leadership is impressive even if he lacks anything in his game I think his moxy makes up for it. The guy can do what it takes of that I have no doubt. sounds like someone whos way more qualified than me ( coach Lee) feels the same. -
Vince Young interview…
26TrapDraw replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just watched it as well and you read my mind. What I think I hear because we havent been able to see much yet is a man that has had to swallow a huge slice of humble pie. I think his ego and the immaturity that has given him such a bad rap over the last few years has subsided. Think he realizes after he was hung out there in free agency with no takers for a while that he needs to pluck his head out of his ass. I believe VY has recognized that he has a great situation here with Gailey and Lee here to impart some of their knowledge to him and he seems receptive. Whether he catches on here or goes to another team it seems to me that his head maybe right for the first time in his career. -
Never been much of a Kelsay fan. I will admit however he is above average against the run. The problem before was that on passing downs he would tend to be swallowed up. Now that the right personnel are here that fit down and distance I believe he will have a good year

Anyone who quotes Airplane is alright in my Book...."hang back Jack B word say she gonna catch you rebound on the Medicide" "I know baby my Momma ain't raise no dummies I dug her rap!" Cut me some slack jack! Jamba don't want no help jamba don't get no help!, jive ass turkey ain't got no brains anyhow hmph!

so read on BB.com that this is the best he's felt in 3 yrs. So if he returns to "lights out" this defense will just be gross. Then the next question is if he rips it up in preseason( and I don't mean his old rubberband effect roided out tendons and ligaments) does he stay in the pass rush specialist role or does he get put in that OLB spot permanently?. my guess is he puts his hand on the ground and rushes from the DE spot...but who knows...thoughts? link

BILLS @ JETS Early Predictions
26TrapDraw replied to Frostbelt City's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A few things. The thing that jumps out at me immediately is our revamped Dline. Theres no way that Sanchez will be able to get comfortable. Go back and look at his stats when hes hurried...hes awful. I think that will happen the entire afternoon.second I think our offense will be able to hang points on their defense. Sexy Rexy studies film and has his defense ready to play. Problem is Chan can come out after a very Vanilla preseason and come out with a gameplan that will be how it should of been all season long last year.....run the damn ball!! and then make them pay dearly when they stack the box and either beat the blitz happy Yets defense with screens to either spiller or Freddy or exploit Revis yes I said exploit him because number 13 owns revis. Bills win this one at the meadowlands 24-10 -
How much have Bills improved??
26TrapDraw replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So Tashard choice will have a greater impact than C.J Spiller? I don't think so I think C.J will be utilized more effectively on screens and catching the ball out of the backfield. I think everyone saw what he's capable of now and more importantly he's learned to be a patient runner and let his blocks develop. I'll be shocked if he doesn't contribute significantly this year. And of course as I read your post more I realized you were talking about the players that missed some time my bad LV -
I must say the baby blue is very flattering
