I disagree I think this is a win because we didn't overpay for him. We made him an offer he chose the skins end of story. I like that the Bills took a shot at filling a need with a mid level free agent. I bet you they are not done. After the draft you'll see alot of value signings that fill some depth and maybe steal a starter or two. we'll know a lot more about their direction after the draft.

When this organization stops being a complete and utter dumpster fire with its decision making then it will stop being a punchline. I kind of hope that Russ and company get grilled more tbh. It's pretty embarrassing.

How I think (I hope) it will shake out for Buf is we go best available WR at number 8. then whatever QB they like thats left in rnd 2..then hoping its LB and TE in 3rd and 4th. if they do that it won't be the worst draft for us.

Ok. I have watched all the highlight footage of the top qb prospects. I am no expert and don't claim to be but i trust my eyes and they tell me that this kid Manuel is gonna be a good one. I like him more than the rest and feel like he has upside. strong enough arm to get it done and athletic. I would not be pissed if they took him at 8. If they feel like he's their guy who cares where they pick him.

Something tells me we are gonna have a run on what value free agents are around after the draft. Its part of the moneyball thing they got going on. At least I hope they do in my mind

So are we seeing our "analytics " department at work already? Staying away from over paying for overpriced free agents may end up being the smartest thing this trainwreck has ever done. I for the last 15 yrs have also shared the kind of frustrations that you have. Until now. I found myself giving contrary reasons to everyone of your gripes and Have realized that Being a Bills fan is like having a brother who can't seem to get out if his own way. Take it for what its worth Colin Cowherd said today that he has it on " good authority" that the Bills will take EJ manuel in the draft. Sometimes Colin is a blowhard though so there ya go.
