Interesting how many of the ESPN analysts picked the Patriots over Atlanta, only two are going with Atlanta. Given ESPN's tendency for hopping on and off bandwagons this is the opposite of what I would have thought.

You're totally right on that, but on the flip side what's so awesome about this particular thing? It's not even funny, I don't get what's so funny, is it the shock value? There's nothing clever about this.
The thing about the 'cheap' argument I don't get is how much money would a 36 year old damaged goods tackle that 32 teams have passed on command anyway?
There's a priceless picture of DJ with about 15 seconds left in the slide show. He's actually showing a lil emotion, who knew it would take Ashton Youboty to bring it out of him.
Either that or he's doing the robot
You have this hard on for experience yet our O line is playing as well as they have in years with the inexperience.
You make it sound so easy. How do you know they didn't try to shop a 4th or 5th round pick for a tackle? We know they've been shopping Roscoe maybe they didn't like what was being offered. You're not going to find this stud starting RT that would fit in to the no huddle offense of all things after week 2.
That's why I'm saying don't get upset over what they say or try and figure out the logic because your head will explode.
And to try and answer your point, I'm sure they get some points for being the defending division champions and it's still early.
I hear ya but we're only 1-1. We will rise in the national view if we start winning ya know. My advice is use espn for their coverage...not their expert opinions.
Al Michaels during the Sunday Night game was fighting for an LA team. He was trying to say how great the market was and cited a game 50 years ago that drew 100,000 people, pathetic.
