  1. (if it's true)...kiddies want a ps4 and adults want to save money. It just depends on market research and the weight of kids vs. adults in video games. This isn't 1995 when video games were just for kids. Those 1995 kids are old now and still play but have bills(like me). I suspect you're right though
  2. hehe why not? i want to believe i dont have to buy a new system to play call of duty 20
  3. Also (sry I don't have a link) i read a while ago that ps3 is advanced enough to play the next generation of games so supposedly when xbox 720 comes out there's no need for a ps4 it can handle the next gen games. It was a while ago I read that so I don't remember how reputable the source.
  4. x box pride
  5. Agreed especially on the online gamer thing. Seems like there's a lot more d-bags on xbox. You'll be verbally assaulted (and i do mean assaulted) whether you're good, bad, or average. A lot less of that on ps3. Ps3 is more durable I've had mine for over two and a half years and never a problem with it. All my friends with an xbox are on at least their second machine and usually more than that. Games are the same give or take a few.
  6. I'm sorry Jim I'm a few too many Jager Bombs into my Friday night and I'm too used to the shoot down negativity of TBD. Plus I like to take digs at people for fun I'm not familiar with the Navy but there is OCS training that I could get through to become a CO. My main issue is I've got days where I want to do a certain thing...and others I feel like a diff branch makes sense. I just want to make the right decision because I know several people that have not parlayed their military careers into anything special (under statement).
  7. Not saying I'm not ignorant about the subject just need well informed advice. Well I'm short enough and have the eye site to be a pilot haha. I've still got big questions, concerns, and thoughts about these three branches...like with the Coast Guard fears of being stuck in your state.
  8. You're singing my song Sir (Rob Zombie movies included). All of my life I've wanted a job with the flag on my shoulder but on the way got tricked into college. I've never heard of a Marine regret his decision to join. I hope your construction company is well (can I have a job? ) and if you're a WNYer I'd love to have a beer with you some time. I'm excited but at the same time scared to death about the next step in my life and welcome all the advice and stories I can get.
  9. Thank you it means a lot, for this decision I've got exactly two supporters (out of many) in my personal life. It's one of the reasons that I'm single haha.
  10. Probly the best sales pitch I've heard for the Marines. It's so true though they are second to none. I'm assuming you're a Marine, if so out of curiousity what are you doing now (career wise)? When I was 18 I was gun ho infantry. Now that I'm a bit older I'm thinking about life in AND after the military.
  11. As of Wednesday I'm recently (happily) single. I'm a casuality of the economy (Bachelor of Science in Business degree cutting grass for a living in Buffalo). I've always been a fan of American military history and have now decided that the military is for me. I'm going to spend the summer getting in shape, getting laid, and in the fall enlist. After much research I've narrowed it down to the Marine Corps (grandfather was a veteran in the pacific in WWII so there's some sentimental shiz), The Air Force, and the Coast Guard. If there are any veterans out there that can give me advice or a better picture of these branches I could really use some more help. Thanks guys.
  12. The red headed one that likes girls and boys.
  13. I bet I know where you live...does it start with an 'R'...or a 'B'??
  14. All I've got to say is thank god for Sirius.
  15. Damn you ya took my joke! I was going to say Slayer - God Hates Us All
  16. In the eyes of the previous regime.
  17. Steve Johnson cut his hair???????
  18. That made me laugh too. Edit: Does this web site have a history of being credible? I'm pleading ignorance on this one
  19. I don't know why but that statement made me laugh.
  20. Don't talk about the future UFL MVP like that.
  21. It didn't bother me because it was fun to talk to Bills players and coaches. But management had to take care of EVERYTHING. Normally for the common folk it was 'Here's your keys see you in 12 months'. But for the players everything needed to be taken care of, things like furniture and cable...and this was usually for 30 days at most. Plus as we all know NFL players aren't angels so cops were called a lot which was obivously a disturbance for full time tenants. I remember in once instance a certain player was actually growing a marijuana plant OUTSIDE. One person that stands out as being very cool was Jim McNally. He moved in a few days after we got him from the Giants. I remember bringing his bags to his apartment and they had the Giants logo all over them. He gave us a $40 dollar tip for a few bags. Then over the spring we'd see him at the bar down the street and he'd buy us drinks and wings and shoot the shiz with us. Awesome guy.
  22. I worked for an apartment complex on Big Tree Road behind stadium and on Armor Duells. A lot of them stayed there. The managers couldn't stand bending over backwards for them.
