I can't buy that.... The jets played many of those teams at the right time. Our last game relatively healthy was the Jets game. The original statement holds water jets benefitted from an easier schedule and we played some beatable teams when they were at their best and we were in a bad way injury wise. It's not an excuse just a fact. all things considered..... I would take the Bills healthy roster over a Jets healthy roster and if we played their exact schedule with reasonable injuries I feel we would be in a similar situation to the Jets.

Chuck Pollock is pretty much a legend and The Olean Times-Herald serves many people in the Southern Tier of WNY. Like many fans he is disappointed by this whole season. He is very well respected

actually no..The QB can use voice inflection and a hard count to try and draw the defense offsides...This is a form of deception. The defense is not allowed to move and try to deceive the offense into a false start. Another rule that benefits offense entirely. If you are not going to allow the defense to get back and reset then you simply shouldn't allow for hard counts. I hope this makes sense.

This is the exact stupid mindset that has been going on for years. Not until recently has the local Buffalo sports media started to acknowledge that crappy calls against the Bills at specific times in the game actually may have decided who wins the game. When callers used to call WGR with complaints about calls they were dismissed as whiners etc... It seems the worm has turned and now a critical eye is on every game, I have long believed that the referees make calls based on the players involved and the teams involved instead of just deciding based on the play. Explain how Robey gets a similar PI call against him by the same officiating crew in two different games (The NFL said both weren't PI) You can say that Rex should have this and Rex should have that but in reality the calls sucked and when can we expect the official to get the damn call right? There were 3 calls in the KCgame that worked against the Bills . Do you think those didn't change the course of the game? Explain to me why Hogans non catch wasn't ruled a catch? Then replay has the potential to over turn it. Thats what happened with Maclin's catch that really wasn't a catch. The whole system is screwed up and finally people are realizing it.

exactly... that penalty changed the game I said in an earlier post that I think bills opponents have been watching film and talking to the refs before and during the game. The Easley offsides on kickoff is a play you really have to be looking for and expecting (especially how close it was). Woods has been called for holding the last few weeks while blocking. he's a pretty tenacious blocker. Robey has been known to be physical etc.. This is just a theory but we all know coaches talk to and work the refs before and during games. I think this is helping to increase our penalties. We are getting crazy calls against us. Let me be the first to say we have taken a crazy amount of personal foul penalties and I am sure the refs are no fan of Jerry Hughes. So, the reputation we have earned is justified. I just don't believe all the calls are. Our defensive line was held a ton today and it wasnt called hardly at all. The judgement call penalties are hugely lopsided against us. people.... please stop saying this. Games often come down to one or two plays. We had the lead. That horse crap call changed the game PERIOD.

The NFL bans many things except for refs that make bogus calls. No contact on that play

the dude fell and so there is make up calls in the NFL. Doesn't that seems like we are saying that they are controlling the game. maybe so... but I will guarantee you the probability of the Jags winning would have been very low with the next play a 4th and 15. It's easy to say it should haven't come down to one play but a ton of NFL games do. The game was hijacked by a ref that couldn't even see the play. NFL refs suck

That was not phantom and refs missed the pass interference on bills receiver on that same play definiely holding on hughes on that play

yeah more thoughts... -Someone has to be accountable for the lack of foresight regarding injuries to QB and RB. Cut our heart and soul and traded a QB that could hold it together during a tough time. -I think Gilmore is above average. -I think Darby is good. -I think the refs call penalties on us because we had penalties called on us in other games. It's a vicious cycle. I also think teams tip off refs prior to the games. Example being Easley and offsides kickoff. -I think the defense we are playing isn't playing to the strengths of the players. I think the wide 9 forced pressure from the outside last year, allowing the interior to clean things up. Now when pressure comes it isn't coming from the edge. i noticed this 3 or 4 times with Bortles today. -Dan Carpenter was never a problem. -Jordan Gay makes the ST way better. -Try using the FB on the last few plays. -This Defense looks more like Wannstadt's then Pettine's. - It's hard to win in the NFL. It's harder with all these crazy penalties. - Pass interference can no longer be a judgement call. It needs to be reviewed when called. This would probably stop the nonsense and stop referees from seeing what they want to see before during and after a play. Instead of what really happened. That being said the call on Robey was potentially the worst I have ever seen. They pulled the same crap on us with Corey Graham a couple of weeks ago but we still ended up winning. That sort of bad officiating is a trend and even more harmful to a team than the penalties that the team actually deserves. The NFL reallys doesn't help it's credibility. -What exactly defines excessive celebration? Maybe like jumping into the stands after a touchdown? Just wondering because that was called on us today. Again NFL officiating has a credibility issue. - EJ Manuel isn't very good. -You ever think the NFL loves Bills fans being the loveable losers? Brandon was behind the marketing of club suites in the late 90's that directly impacted the previous lease and the Bills staying in WNY. He helped make the franchise viable from a business standpoint so someone would want to buy them and keep them in WNY. This is really quite plain and simple nothing to argue or complain about. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that will dispute this.

Matt cassell was not the problem in KC. I live here and lived through him being QB for the Chiefs. He is a nfl starting QB. His O-line was never great around him and besides Jamaal Charles,thomas jones, Dexter Mccluster and Dwayne Bowe he did not have a ton on the offensive side. In reality he did really well with a good TE named Tony Moeaki in 2010. The Chiefs were dysfunctional... Haley was not happy here and Pioli tried creating the NE environment here.
