  1. I agree that Ingram is the best end, but no end in this year's draft appears to be an amazing pass rusher. If the bills end up with Ingram or Floyd I would not be disappointed, but as I said in other threads, the bills should draft DeCastro if they want an All Pro.
  2. You can't sign Ward. Teams need to have their 4th or 5th best wr to be a special teams contributor. Hines is no better than a 4th or 5th wr, and he does not play special teams.
  3. If they resign Bell, they will have a good tackle when he is healthy, and Hairston for depth. DeCastro will probably be an All Pro, Adams has some serious question marks. I'm not saying he doesn't have a chance to be great, just far less of a shot of being great in comparison to DeCastro. Throughout the history of the draft team have regretted not taking players due to their position. How many teams would have loved to have Ed Reed. Everyone knew he was a stud, but he fell because he was a safety. What about Ray Lewis, Patrick Willis, Steve Hutchinson. I want the bills to draft an All Pro, and DeCastro has the best chance.
  4. The question you have to ask, is what player would the Bengals want to trade up for. Richardson? A tackle? I'm not sure there will be I guy they want to trade up for. DeCastro in my opinion will not be available.
  5. If the bills want him they can probably have him. Everyone says he would never come to Buffalo, and he would not chose to come to Buffalo. When he is cut however, he will have to clear waivers before becoming free. If the bills simply put a waiver claim on him, he would be a bill. That would mean giving him a $28 million dollar bonus, but no other team will place a waiver claim. They will let him clear waivers, then try to negotiate a contract with him.
  6. It seems like the perception right now is that there are only 2 WRs that will go in round 1, Floyd being one of them. There are a lot of guys who will go in rounds 2-4. Floyd is not my top choice, but I would be ok with the pick.
  7. Or why not resign Bell and draft one of the best guard prospects ever.
  8. Peter King said the saints punishment will be more severe than what the patriots received for the spy gate scandal.
  9. They would be better off resigning Bell and drafting DeCastro.
  10. Considering that the bills will not reach for a DE maybe it is possible they will select DeCastro. I still think they may take a DE, but it will depend on who is taken with picks 1-9.
  11. Josh Harris of Auburn would be a great pick up with the 10th overall pick. While long snapper is a position not typically taken in the top 10, he is the best player available. Also he has a lot of experience and plays in the South, both of which will impress Buddy.
  12. With the past CBA, a team who signed a tagged player had to surrender two first round picks. Is that still the case with the new CBA? If so, I think the bills should attempt to sign Brees to a contract the Saints could not match. I don't think Brees will leave New Orleans, but you don't know until you show him the money. And for those who say why would he want to leave a playoff team to go to Buffalo, ask yourself why the Saints went to the playoffs. They went to the playoffs because of Brees, not because of the overall talent on their roster. Just like the Colts were a playoff team with Manning and stunk without him. It shows how important the qb position is.
  13. I haven't heard anyone say that he is a better prospect than Peterson.
  14. Should the bills be willing to trade Dareus and their 1st round pick for the Rams 2nd overall pick? Would the Rams accept that offer?
  15. Trading down and still getting DeCastro would be ideal, but let's face it, Buddy will have the 10th overall pick in with 9:30 left on the clock. If they do trade down, they probably could lose out on DeCastro
  16. Pat Kirwan today discussed how the Saints could potentially end up spending 18 million dollars next season on their two guards. He then mentioned, that with certain qbs you do not need elite talent at tackle. I think that could be the case with the Bills. DeCastro is a great talent, who will probably play in multiple Pro Bowls. I think I either want him or Ingram at 10, assuming both are available.
  17. I think the best player who will be available is DeCastro. I think there is a strong chance he plays in many Pro Bowls, and many teams will regret passing on his talent just because he is a guard.
  18. I'm fairly certain that the "transition tag" is not part of the current CBA.
  19. I have some serious concerns about Kirkpatrick. He does not play very fast and got beat a number of times last year. I'm on the Ingram bandwagon.
  20. Maybe he wouldn't have stabbed a guy.
  21. I think the bills need to hope that 3 qbs and Trent Richardson end up going in the top 9 picks. If Ingram is selected I don't know who my second choice would be.
  22. No one will bite, but 2.5 million is a reasonable contract based on the production they got from the guy.
  23. Even if Buffalo traded down, I don't think that Mercilius would be the pick. Nix has said over and over that he does not draft 1 year wonders early in the draft. Let's face it though, the bills will pick at the 10 slot with about 9:30 left on the clock. Hopefully with Ingram as the selection.
  24. The guy made a ton of game changing plays at South Carolina, and I too hope he is the pick. I do not however, think he will be available. Most mocks right now have him going later than 10, but that will change. I predict he will get selected by the Jaguars.
