Bills interested in Sam Bradford
auburnbillsbacker replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is better than Cousins so if the Bills got lucky with his health then they really hit the jackpot. Watch the game he played week 1 against the Saints if you want to see how good of a QB he is. If he is the free agent target they definitely need to secure a QB for the future. Even if they get a healthy season from him this year it is unlikely they would get multiple. -
Could 2018 be the 1983 QB Draft
auburnbillsbacker replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is more likely the Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder, and Jake Locker draft. (2011) Newton was in that draft as well, but like 2011 I expect more busts than franchise QBs this year. -
Report: Cousins to Vikings 27 Million per

Prior to legal tampering It was easier. If a player signed a complicated contract at 12:01AM there was obviously tampering. You can't get that done in 1 minute. -

They should begin free agency right after the combine then. If they have tampering rules they should be enforced. -

Washington should file tampering charges. Legal tampering doesn't begin until Monday. -
As of right now we are a much worse football team. Hopefully that changes the first week of free agency. I don't have much faith in this QB class.

Rotoworld- Giants leaning away from QB @ #2
auburnbillsbacker replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet they use the pick to select the best non QB in the draft which may or may not be Barkley. We could try to trade up but I"m not sure they would be willing to pass on an elite talent that could be had at 2. -
Taylor/Jackson Tandem
auburnbillsbacker replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brees is closer to 6'1 and has the arm length of a man 6'5 in height while Wilson can negate the disadvantage of his height by moving outside the Pocket. Mayfield doesn't have either one of those advantages. I like the kid I do not want the Bills to draft him. -
If Darnold doesn’t go #1
auburnbillsbacker replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you suck you have the advantage of simply staying put and drafting a franchise QB. If you are decent but lack a franchise QB you have trade boatloads of picks to move up. It doesn't seem fair. As bad as our reputation is, we have had zero top 2 picks since 1986. I top 3 and 1 top 4. We are bad at being bad. -
TRADE TYROD/ GET BRADFORD/ DRAFT FUTURE
auburnbillsbacker replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Former GM Charley Casserly believes that they are equal passers but Smith is more mobile and can make throws outside the pocket. Smith will also be much cheaper. I think it was a nice move by Washington. -
The one thing I have learned from this board is that the next QB class is always better than the current one.

I feel like he is a good starting QB in the right system and a bad one when not. The 27 TDs against only 2 INTs when he last started in Philly and his failure with the Rams is proof of that. He isn't going to dominate based on talent alone. If our new offensive coordinator is competent picking up Foles might be a good course of action. Assuming he is available.

Whether you like it or not ... Nick Foles

I don't think sarcastic comments help. If the topic is repetitive you can simply ignore it. It is a good way to get to 70,000+ posts though. -
Will Mayfield be available at #21?
auburnbillsbacker replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he will be available in round 2. -
Cousins vs. Trade Up
auburnbillsbacker replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do not think Cousins is worth the cost and I do not think there is a franchise QB in this draft. I guess we are screwed. -
Bills still making Bad Contract decisions

Tom Brady has masked a lot of the mistakes they have made. -
Pro Football HOF 2018 Class Announced
auburnbillsbacker replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope Tony Boselli makes it in. He was the only offensive lineman I can think of that completely neutralized Bruce Smith. I know his career was short due to his back, but he played at a much higher level than Joe Thomas in my opinion, who is a lock to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. I feel like Lewis, Moss, and Owens should be locks but WRs usually have to wait to get in, especially when they have questionable character. It is said that Alan Faneca is a lock to make it in, but Kevin Mawae and Steve Hutchinson seemed like a better players to me. I might have a Mawae bias however, due to his career battling Ted Washington during his time with the Jets. Urlacher was outstanding, but similar to Boselli, his neck shortened his career. He should get in though. -
Is Tom Brady better than Jordan?
auburnbillsbacker replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a game where there are 10 people playing instead of 22 an individual can have a much larger impact in the NBA. That does not mean however, the Jordon was better, just more impactful. They are both the best players in their sport in the 40 years of my life. -
Tom Brady ... would he be a good coach?
auburnbillsbacker replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He would need to stop playing first. I'm not sure that will happen.
