  1. Don't support the drafting of Ward on here. You will get torn apart. At least I did.
  2. I agree. I just don't the Bills to be the team that pays him 17-20 million and surrenders draft picks.
  3. I can't imagine trading a 1st for a guy who wants 20 million per season. He has 1 year left in his contract and claims he won't play under his current deal.
  4. Maybe for 1 year but not for more than that.
  5. Your counters provide no more evidence than my posts. I watched both QBs a lot. Time will tell who is right. I know many on this board love Mayfield. I like his passion a lot. I just don't think he will be a good NFL QB. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I will be.
  6. For the 2nd time, I never shared an opinion on arm stregnth. Brees has done just fine though.
  7. You are correct, I didn't support it. Brees is well known for his athleticism. For example, he could have been a professional tennis player. As for Mayfield's work ethic, his lack of conditioning and strength tell the tale.
  8. You have your opinion and I have mine. If they draft Mayfield I hope I'm wrong.
  9. If drafting a pocket passer is the goal why draft a 6'00 tall QB? The Brees argument doesn't cut it for me as Brees is almost 6"1 and has the arm length of a man who is 6"5. Brees is also a superior athlete to Mayfield with a much stronger work ethic. Smoke screen?
  10. All QBs are drafted based on their potential. Drafting Wentz was a huge risk but the Eagles took a chance and benefited from it.. You have to do your homework then hope for the best. Peterman does not have these guys potential.
  11. The Browns have talked about it. I doubt it happens though.
  12. I think 3 of them have potential but if you are right then the Bills inability to trade up might work to their benefit.
  13. I believe that the 3 guys you mentioned will indeed be the first 3 picks. We tried so hard to position ourselves to get one of them but likely failed.
  14. I think getting OBJ would be easy. Who wants to spend 20 million a year for that drama. Getting the 2nd pick is the hard part.
  15. If Glenn stays healthy it was a great trade for the Bengals. I think it helped us too.
  16. Nope, I'm hoping for a QB. I don't believe they will be able to get one of the top 3 QBs so I'm speculating on what non QB they will take.
  17. I appreciate the effort the Bills made to position themselves to get a franchise QB. Getting an extra first round pick last year, trading Tyrod, trading Watkins, trading Darby, and trading Glenn were all part of this plan. It is unfortunate the their success last year made it impossible to secure a top 3 pick. Oh well.
  18. I agree. I just feel like Ward would almost certainly be the best player available is he is there at 12.
  19. I think QBs go 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall so we have to hope that the 4th and 5th best QBs are good.
  20. I would rather see a Matt Millen mock draft. It would be fun to see what 32 WRs he projects to go in round 1.
  21. The reason I started this thread is due to the fact that I don't think we will be able to draft a franchise QB. QBs will likely go 1-3 and I don't think the other options will better than Tyrod. If the Bills don't like the 4th or 5th best option our pick at 12 could be interesting. It is my belief that Ward is the best option of those who might be available. If you guys don't like Ward what non QB are you hoping for?
  22. CB is the one position we usually do a good job of evaluating. All of our first round corners ended up being pretty good.
  23. He might be gone but 5'10 isn't that small.
  24. I believe the Bills will probably break fans heart with the 12th pick and it will be the right decision. After being unable to trade up to get one of the top 3 QBs the Bills will settle on a positional player instead of reaching for the next EJ Manuel. That player will be Denzel Ward. If you don't know him, he is a CB and an athletic freak. He was an All American for Ohio State last year and by drafting him the Bills will have the best 2 CB combo in the league. I hope they are able to trade up to get the QB, but when they can't this will happen.
  25. I don't understand why a QB would be at 11. If you have a need and would be willing to take one in the top 11 picks would you really pass on him for a player at a different position?
