Bill Cowher actually coached one more season and he went 8-8. He also went 6-10 in 2003 which allowed him to draft Big Ben.

Good coaches can have bad seasons, especially if they're in the same place for 14 years. A better argument against MS would be to figure out what his record is with and without John Elway.

Does it really matter who the interim coach is?
