In fairness to Marv they would have taken Revis if Lynch was off the board. In fact I think their board was Lynch, Revis, Poz, and Harris.

With Mathis and Freeney out Schobel should be getting a call.

I don't blame them. They've had bottom 5 rush defenses both seasons since they traded for him.

Jim Fassel's last stint as an OC in Baltimore was disastrous.

1) Miami played the same ridiculously easy schedule that we did. 2)They added an insane amount of second tier FA's/trades that offseason, Justin Smiley, Jake Grove, Ernest Wilford, Chad Pennington, Jason Ferguson, Anthony Fasano, Randy Starks, Akin Ayodele, Reggie Torbor, and Lousaka Polite.

Arizona was a joke until they signed Warner. Cincy was a joke until they drafted Palmer. San Diego was a joke before Brees/Rivers. If Buddy finds the right QB we'll be fine.

If Nix can draft/sign a top ten, ten year QB then the Gailey hiring will make him look like a genius. Hopefully the 2010 quarterback class is closer to the 2004 class than the 2002 class.

Both years the first two picks were OL and DL. That's a good sign I suppose.

Cowher will be at the presser disguised as a reporter and when he's called upon he'll shed the disguise and announce that he not Gailey is the real HC of the Buffalo Bills.

If Nix finds Gailey a QB on the Level of Brady, Romo, Rivers, Kelly, or Warner (which isn't impossible) then Gailey will be fine.

Didn't Cowher contact Gailey to be his OC if he came back? Maybe this is a set-up like in the movies and the fans are going to get all disappointed and divided only to have Cowher step out from behind the curtain tomorrow!

This wasn't in their prime. Aikman retired a year after Gailey left and Emmitt missed the pro-bowl for 2 straight seasons before Gailey arrived. Prior to that he had made every pro-bowl from 90-95.

Or we can run the 3-4 with 4-3 personnel and be one of the worst defenses in the league like Kansas City.

Let me try and put a positive spin on Gailey- -After a mediocre 96 and 97 Emmitt Smith under Gailey had his 2 best years since the Cowboys superbowl run -Gailey was 10-6 his first season despite Aikman only playing 11 games -In 98 Aikman had his highest QB rating since the superbowl years -Ranked in the top 10 in rushing attempts and rushing yards both years -Had top 5 defenses both seasons
