  1. You heard it but do you truly believe it? I dont at all. We are gonna go defense in the 1st rd.
  2. Who said that? I believe it was edwards, parrish or yobouty and and a first or second. Keep things within the context please.
  3. If they become the Toronto Bills, they wont be for long. You guys will just be how it was for an NFL team in LA. And have fun at your tailgates...OH I forgot thats not allowed in your lame ass country.
  4. Let his ego get bruised. Are we going to constantly re work this guys contract. We already did once, and now we offered a pretty fat contract again. Not bad for someone undrafted. I, like you, want the Bills to be succesful. But The brass should refuse to be held hostage by him. I say let him sit and rot. So they have to pay him at the tenth game. He still will lose a boatload of money. Just my two cents though.
  5. Goes to show what canucks really know. First of all he is open for a trade. Second, they want a whole heck of alot. Third, How do you know the Bills havent made a trade offer? Fourth, if your gonna open your mouth, how about you come up with some kind of trade scenario! Like the bills give edwards, parrish or youbouty, and a first or second rounder. Until then, If you dont like it, shut up and watch that thing called the CFL.
  6. I like that scenario alot...you could give the trent, roscoe and a number 1 or 2 for Cutler. QB's like him only come around every so often. I really think he will end up in San Fran or Detroit but stranger things have happened and we never truly know whats going on behind the scenes.
  7. Actually thats not true. I started this thread to see what everyones view was. But not to bash people. Most of us are aware at how bad the politics are in both counties. My point is that it is better to try and do something than nothing at all. And maybe a nice stadium in NF is just what it needs. I am not dead set on putting one there either. I just think it could...with a little vision be a nice location thats all. The waterfront in Buffalo would be nice as well. I disagree that the Stadium in OP is fine. There is nothing there and generates very little money for the local businessman. When the Sabres play the local eateries/pubs etc.. make some extra coin on those nights. If we put a dome in either locations think of the possibilities. You could have events in them year round like final 4's etc.
  8. And so is Buffalo
  9. Some posters in here say alot of mularkey just to try and get rise out of us. You know, the same ones that get kicked out of the stadium for fighting in the tunnels. They never have any real forethought and the minute you disagree with them they wanna jump down your throat.
  10. What abot DT as well? I like the whole scenario though. I think it depends if raji drops to 11 or not and I dont think he makes it past 6.
  11. Are you serious? We dont need a pass catching tight end? A tight end who is a threat in the passing game causes defenses to be more honest and utilize the nickel package more. If not then they can apply more pressure on the O line. Also, a good catching TE can give the QB a nice target to throw to and also expoits the seams of a defense. Every good offense in the NFL has a quality TE who can catch. Even if we have a sh-- line I still would want a threat at TE.
  12. I have seen people walk over 3 miles down 20a. I am not sure of the exact distance from the rainbow bridge to where a stadium could be built, but i would like to think these things are taken into consideration.
  13. Maybe in past it was run by the mob...but not for the past 2 decades.
  14. People walk long distances all over OP to get to the Ralph. Sometimes I think you over think things to much.
  15. Lancaster is where Rich Stadium was supposed to be built! Does anyone remember that? INstead they built it on sacred tribal land. No wonder why we are cursed.
  16. Thanks I couldnt of said it better
  17. Again your missing the big picture. I wouldnt expect any NFL owner to move a team somewhere to revitalize. I am merely saying that a stadium in NF could possibly work. I think there is money to be made there. Thats all I am saying. And if they were to move there then the spin off of money would be nice for the area.
  18. Thats not the point. The point is to re vitalize the place.
  19. And places to eat and drink too. But dont you think NF could be a fun venue too? The logistics would be extremely difficult though.
  20. Its not about paying off the CFL. Its about the fans of the CFL. The people of Canada really love their version of football. I know there are alot that Like the NFL and come to the games. But more come for the tailgate and atmosphere. You wont get that in Toronto and they will keep being attracted to the Argonauts.
  21. I think you just named alot of bad things. But I kinda agree, its got some cool stuff to do and a decent nightlife. I know some dont think so but how many places have a 4 am last call. I would love to see a stadium in the city also. People could eat before going in the stadium. If the weather is bad dive into a bar for a brew. And instant money for the city.
  22. Your comments really have no credibility whatsoever. Who are the buyers? I havent seen one make an offer to Ralph. The team doesnt have to be for sale to make someone an offer.
  23. We all get lazy sometimes LOL. I will let ya slide...this time. I think what we all really want though is the whole buffalo/niagara region to thrive again, get the population back up and say F U to Toronto. I understand why they did it but it just doesnt sit well with me. I mean you cant even freakin tailgate there.
