  1. Lets face it, The Pats were extremely lucky to beat us. They are vulnerable on all 3 stages of the game. Their O line is average at best, running backs old besides maroney...who doesnt really scare many teams. And Tom Brady, doesnt look all that hot either. Partially due to his injury, but something that is over looked is a few years ago when they were cheating he knew everything the defenses were doing. And The Pats D has no play makers. Sure Wilkford is good but looks really out of shape. And their special teames isnt so special. FG kicker missing field goals and maroney returnin kicks...what a scare that is. Our O line is being built to beat up on teams like the pats and the Jets. And if you really look at the AFC east who has more talent on their roster than us? Now if we can get some good coaching and play calling all year we got a chance. Thoughts everyone? Blast away!!!!
  2. What a Joke, not that it really matters but 23? Thoughts? http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...s-await-broncos
  3. When we beat someone with a winning record.
  4. I live in NC and have the same problem!
  5. He did play a great game..However I am going to reserve overall judgement until he wins games when the winds are whipping at the Ralph and its bitter cold.
  6. I agree with most everything you say. It used to be fun to come here and talk football rationally and everyone giving their honest assesment. Now people just want to bash everyone for good points with no counter debate. I almost got caught into the same web with a few people but now will not sink down to their level. Its funny because right before I read your post, I was saying the same things to my buddy at work. Like, Dick should be telling Bobby who should be tellin Leodis...Hey we are up by 5, 2 min left, down it in the end zone or if you run it out dont go into a pile and get down etc.... But this coaching staff never ever has enough situational awareness or the communication to relay it to the players. Every week there is examples just like this...we all know what they are so I dont really feel like going back into the archives and posting them. Lack of attention to detail on game day will end up with more losses than wins throughout the season. The quicker DJ is gone the better of we will be.
  7. I think Jenkins will be playing ST also.
  8. Heck, I dont remember if it was cbssortsline or cnnsi but one of them had us 26. I guess when this team learns to win we get a higher spot...but who cares anyways, it all comes from stupid writers anyways.
  9. I agree...but my point is give the pill a little time, I think we all may be surprised next week. A win over tampa can restore some confidence too.
  10. We had 3 timeouts, after we had 2.
  11. Ok I know all of us are fuming from the heartbreak, and I am too. This team has to learn how to win the close ones. I thought Alex Van Pelt really did a great job last night. He is only going to get better callin games and preparing his team. The last 50 second debacle wasnt his fault as everything at that point is coming from the sidelines and the QB. How in the heck do you burn a timeout after a kickoff? And Perry Fewell, shame on him for going to the prevent. Keep with what is working. Anyways, I am encouraged with what AVP did last night and I think this offense will start to turn the corner. Someone needs to work with Bell and calm him down, too many penalties from him last night, but overall the O line did well. I am going to say this again, Fred Jackson is better the Marshawn. This team has to learn to get Roscoe more involved like the Eagles do with their little receiver, I am having a brain fart rememberin his name right now. I thought trent played well up until the last few minutes and then he had a complete meltdown. In year 3 of a QB this shouldnt be happeneing anymore, but maybe with a few more weeks with AVP things will settle some. Before Pos got hurt he was all over the field. Stroud was a beast last night and Kyle Williams has really improved. Leodis was getting turned inside out all night. Whitner didnt do a bad job but needs to start making some big plays. Reggie Corner is the real deal as the nickel corner. And McGee had his hands full all night with Moss and did well. We need to stop putting LBs all by themselves on TE's! Schoebel had a good game too...I will eat crow on being so down on him in the off season.
  12. Thats what I am talkin about! On perdido Key and orange beach line.
  13. Very true, and today we are much more prepared.
  14. Your Welcome! My time in the Marines is rapidly coming to a close, however..... I respectfully report to you that we as Americans are in great hands with the young Men and Women who continue to volunteer and uphold the high standards and traditions of our Armed Forces.
  15. Are you gonna at least listen to hank?
  16. Thats what everyone said about cassel last year and they beat us twice...just my opinion.
  17. e And I think the P ats D is weak in talent, and will try to mask it with stunts and odd looks. We need to go after them, be physical and take our shots when they are there.
  18. 2009 Bills; Basement Dwellers for Life
  19. My concerns as well.
  20. Well said thanks for your input. And I was thinking the same thing...our secondary needs to snag some balls and take it to the house. D needs to force some 3 and outs too. I am not that worried about ST...remember they were using alot of different people. I dont think roscoe, leodis or mcgee returned anything...I may be wrong though. And few penalties is a huge plus, but it doesnt outweigh that DJ always plays not to lose. Anyways, again a well said reply! And thanks for not barfing on me!!!!
  21. But wouldnt you love to beat a healthy brady? And heck, we couldnt beat them with Cassel.
  22. Ha...thats funny!
  23. I dont think I could ever forget this day in history. I was teaching my young Marines and Sailors in Pensacola 8 years ago, and remember one of my counterparts walking in the classroom and saying the WTC was hit by a plane. And then another one, and the crash in PA. What a sad sad day that was. The only silver lining to the whole thing is we have a better understanding of our enemy and I dont think any terrorist will ever bring any American plane down again with box cutters or other light weapons without a fight. The victims should be honored with a national holiday. God Bless America. Semper Fi.
